"As a student I wouldn't recommended this place to family or Friends the staff is so rude I had one guy make me a breakfast sandwich completely burned my bagel and instead of making me a new one this morning charged me then I went back in to speak to management was told by the Supervisor that nothing could have been done since I never came straight back after I picked up my order this is the second time this has happened I was so mad that I reported to head office not sure if that will help"
"First and last time buying from this place"

"Very expensive, too expensive actually"
The guy who is cashier gave me the worst service in these three years, last time he was shouting to me, and this time I have no idea what the hack is he doing and acting so mean. I bought the chilli beef to take out and waiting beside for the order. When it's ready he took the bag and I told him that this order is mine I order the chilli beef, this this guy didn't remember I did order before, and think I'm planning to steal someone else order, keep Shouting, acting mean and throw the bag which put the order in the floor in front of me. I have no idea why should I get throw this when I pay for something to eat.

First and last time buying from this place. It’s my 4th year here and surprisingly I decided to give them a try because it was too far to walk all the way across campus for booster juice (rip). I ordered a mango smoothie and as I am watching the guy put mango juice made from concentrate from a bottle into my cup, I knew this wasn’t going to meet my expectations. I thought they were going to use real mangos at least. And it was over $5 for a small cup as well.
Items are very overpriced for food that has no flavour or taste. Their food tastes old and tastes like food you would re-heat after storing it in the fridge overnight. Their pastry items are all just sugar and you can feel the texture of the grains of sugar on your tongue. Very poorly baked. The staff are not friendly at all. Very busy and the place is NEVER clean. Straw wrappers, forks, bakery papers are all over the tables.
Very expensive, too expensive actually. But at the same time, everything is made in house. So maybe it’s valid. I loved their mixed french, italian instrumental playlist, elevated the feel of the space. Didnt feel like a cheap cafe with bubblegum pop/indie music.

Generic food, a bad smoothie, average pricing and slow service is undesirable. The muffin I had was lackluster, dry but still slightly warm inside. Smoothie tasted like ice (very unique) with a hing of mango flavor. At $6.64 including tax for the 2 items, much more expensive than Tim Hortons and much worse than Starbucks. Wouldn't recommend unless you're desperate.
Their store is located inside UofT building and is accessible from the street and also inside the building. They have quite good variety of grab and go snacks, sandwiches, salads, desserts, cakes and juices. They’re good for when you want to have small portions of food in between your classes and maybe enjoy a small bite while working on your assignments.
(Jan19th) It's 2020 and their vegan options are basically non-existent. Deeply frustrating and shows a real unawareness of their customers. Update: I've responded to the company's offer to discuss it further. Let's see what they do with it. Update: As of Jan28th, I haven't heard a word back, so the initial response may have only been for show.
Very expensive for mediocre quality food. I really wouldn't go here unless you don't mind using quite a good amount of money for something that you just so happen to crave. Don't get me wrong, the food isn't bad, but I just wouldn't recommend going here because there's so much more that you could get for a cheaper price from somewhere else.
Food is great but the service is terrible. The woman workers tend to be nicer while the taller man (possibly manager) rolls his eyes amd is very rude to customers. Another male staff member barked at a customer when they asked a question. Always ling lines because the staff is inneficient. Love the food, hate the service.
Terrible soup for 5-6 dollars. It came in a cup the size of one made for a small sized ice cream, it was mostly thickener and there was basically no meat, despite being a beef soup. It tasted weirdly sour yet tasteless, and with every bite it just got worse. Threw it out after getting to halfway. Crackers were stale.
This place is quite expensive for what they sell, but the quality of food is great and it's a nice place to sit down and eat with friends. I really enjoy the red velvet cake they sell but their grilled cheese has so much cheese that the sandwich is almost inedible. Overall, wonderful place!
The place looks good. Food tastes well. But highly highly Overpriced. So expensive. Just a small sandwich costs over $15. Drinks are awful taste horrible and priced crazy. So called fresh juices taste stale and coffee tastes bad too.

Their new hires ppl don’t know how to make my drink and didn’t not put the foam at top. The lady just gave to me and it’s not even full, 2 gingers space empty and so pricy, for a small drink almost 7.

Got food poisoning 2 days before a calc exam because they never shut their fridge doors for their salads. Salads go bad with bacteria and they don't care when you complain. I only go here for coffee if I'm really desperate. The University should put a better restaurant in IC.
Overpriced items with rude staff. Pretty much wants to be an upper class elitist version of tim hortons......at a public university, *sigh* They do have some cool items, but its not very welcoming to most students. Tends to prefer professors and lecturers.
Super expensive for what you're getting. But it's the only cafe in the building so it does alright overall. Would recommend a cheaper price point as all the customers are mainly university students who have enough things to spend money on already as it is
A good selection of items. The place is nice with good music but can be busy at times. Pita can be really messy but it tastes delicious. Most of their products look fresh too. Service is not bad with queues usually not being too long.
Overpriced for the quality of food. They get bagels from B&A bakery which is so cheap to begin with. They charge too much of a premium. At least don't disrespect me by showing me the bag of bagels from B&A bakery.
A little bit too expensive, but wonderful foods, everything they provide required fresh, so all the foods are made in every morning from 6 am.
I had a great experience catering from this location. Joseph was super kind and accommodated me last minute. And the food was great!

Food quality is decent but way too expensive. Better alternatives down the road, if you are willing to walk the distance.
Food is ok but overpriced. Coffee also nothing special and they charge extra for almond or coconut milk.
Food is not worth it for the quality, coffee and desserts/pastries are very good though.
Delicious fresh wraps and sandwiches. A bit on the pricey side, but it's worth it.
A bit expensive, food choice is limited. Good place to grab a quick coffee.
bad overpriced food

The use almond milk in there lattes without disclosing it to customers.
Most food is put away from the glass cases an hour before closing time
Food is good, although expensive. Staff is kind and friendly.
Food is mediocre but overpriced. Service is not bad tho.
terrible service, completed disgusted and won’t go again
The price is too expensive. And the service is terrible.
