Felt ok with the food, it is English food cook. Had the English breakfast. The waiter was friendly . sadly the table for 2 was not the best, too uncomfortable for a big guy like my friend who was there with me (200lb). I am not sure if it was a mistake or in purpose, but at the moment to pay my check the man on the cashier put an extra 2 to my account charging £238 , instead of £38. He did move the credit card machine too fast , but I was able to see the number. So I complaint and he had to check again finding out he overcharge me the £200. He did the refund, still waiting for the money to be back on my account . But the fact he start talking in other language to the other people while he was fixing the problem, made me curious about the “honest mistake” .

I was literally kicked out of the restaurant by the waiter!! So honestly the food is good and I have been here not only once or twice but maybe 4 or 5 times in my short holiday in London (less than 2 weeks of stay). I stayed near to the place and I liked it for the food and the other waitress was always welcoming. This time I was drinking my coffee as usual and had my granola, waiting for my wife to come as usual, but the guy all of a sudden came to me and wanted to take out my coffee because he said that he needs the table. Surprisingly there were many other empty tables but I have no idea why he did treated me this way! I wonder if it was out of racism because of my different ethnicity or for any other reason. I am so disappointed, humiliated, and furious and this will be my last time to visit this place. I do not recommend this place for the bad behavior of the waiter.

This is a nice little breakfast place. The coffee here is pretty good with the breakfast better than most other local places. This place was close to our hotel so it was within walking distance. There is a service charge added to the bill here.

It was an excellent breakfast we had in this restaurant, good quality of the food is excellent and so does with the service. Sitting on a terrace in the middle of the city of Westminster on sunny morning was a blessing. We had breakfast here 3 mornings and a take away coffee for the train ride to the airport. The owners were so friendly and welcoming to everyone who came in. They greeted you and served you like family! Delicious Coffee and the full English breakfast, under £6 was very good. The omelet I had one morning was also delicious and healthy! The pastries were yummy, too! This gem of a cafe is just down the street from our favorite hotel in London and we will be back on our next visit! Thank you La Costa, for helping us start our days in London in such a delightful and delicious way!

My party and I stayed close by this cafe for our trip to London. We went here every morning when didn't go to Liverpool. We loved the atmosphere, the owners were very friendly and made you feel like a part of the family. They are insanely friendly and do everything they can to make you comfortable. The prices were reasonable and good on the wallet. We loved this place! I highly recommend this cafe! I loved everything about it and it was a surprise when we found out they were only open for a few weeks when we were there! If you're around, go and enjoy a nice cup of coffee.

Once I found La Costa, I had breakfast there 3 days in a row. Nice simple breakfast with an excellent coffee. My only gripe...the toast. Haven't we progressed beyond a slice of plain white bread for toast? There are so many much tastier breads to use...eg Turkish bread, Ciabatta or the way the French do it, with sliced baguette. Mind you, the French still can't do a decent coffee. :)

This café is amazing! The staff was extremely nice and the food was excellent. My friends and I went to La Costa Café almost every morning for breakfast before we started our day. We even went there for dinner one night. I tried my first English breakfast there (vegetarian) and it was absolutely delicious. The coffee and the veggie smoothies were really good too. The owner makes you feel so welcome and he always greets you with a big smile. I’m so happy that we found this gem of a place.

It is simply one of these amazing places where you feel home! Staff is very friendly, and the chef seems to be the happiest man in the world. Food is delicious (we had eggs with salmon and some pastries). The prices are quite low for London. And as it is not enough their coffee is really amazing, I'd say it is the best coffee I tried in London so far (having quite a high expectations after New Zealand ones). Now I know where we will be having breakfasts for the rest of our stay!

We visited from the US and was thoroughly impressed with this gem of a place. The omelette and traditional English breakfast we tried were both exceptional in taste. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area. Additionally, they own a Persian restaurant right across the street, which is equally fantastic. The owner was very rude in his approach. I work as a doctor and finished my night shift and headed to grab some breakfast after a night shift. He told us we were sitting wrong on the table. Greeted us by asking if we had paid. Clearly he is very stressed and etiquette is not on his menu. Overall the food was bland. The worst part was the customer service. There is no rebuttal that will fix this experience.

Awesome food. Best meatball sandwich ever. But....the staff here, whilst they try their version of friendliness, they actually seem gruff and uninviting. I noted two families leave in 10 mins because of this. I don't frequent that area so probably won't go back.

The traditional English breakfast was excellent. The owner (family owned I believe) and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. My friend wanted a sugar alternate, so the owner went to the market and purchased it. The coffee (I had a Mocha) was the best! I definitely recommend this as a breakfast spot in the area. It was a nice short walk from the hotel.

Staying in the area for the first time we stumbled across this wonderful cafe when looking for somewhere for dinner. Amazing food at a great price and wonderful service (the small person in our group was spoilt rotten) In fact the whole experience was so good we came back the next morning for breakfast!!!!! The American pancakes come highly recommended x x

We stopped by for decaffeinated coffee on our way back to our room. Best coffee we’ve had in London!! While there you might try one of the fresh baked desserts. We had an orange cake that was delicious! The service was the very best! This has to be one of London’s best kept secrets!! Can’t wait to try breakfast there tomorrow!!!

Super lovely staff who managed to accommodate for 10 of us arriving with no prior booking. The coffee was excellent, as was the smashed avocado. I managed to get a veggie breakfast (which was a hefty portion), a flat white and a coke for just over £12, which isn't common in many places - let alone London! Highly recommend.

I literally waited on a table on the terrace for 20 mn with the server/boss ignoring me though he told me he would take my order ASAP. Made me feel very uncomfortable. We had an early morning tour and looking for a place that was opened pretty early in the morning and this place was so we decided to grab a quick breakfast. Food was amazing. They had an amazing American breakfast, fresh pastries and all. I had sourdough toast with jam and so good. Coffee was great.

The sandwiches and baguettes are well prepared and can't really complain about anything. I also love the carrot cake even though usually I am not crazy about it in other places. The mocha is really good (not the sweetest) but still really good. It's worth going there for a quick bite and a coffee.

One of the best coffees I had in London. Excellent British breakfast, as good as anywhere in London. Brilliant service to boot. Thank you!

Tried to sit out the front of the cafe and Got asked to come in and take a seat. As soon as my coffee and sandwich arrived the manager told us to move our bags and leave and as we were taking up valuable sitting space in ‘central london’. Extremely poor service.

A very beautiful and respectful store when he learned that I was from Saudi Arabia. He welcomed with pleasure and happiness. It was not racist, in addition to the speed of ordering and their smile in the face of customers.
