This was the first time I had visited Lala but it was time for a haircut and I had gone to Han for my previous haircut, 6 months ago, at another salon. He does a very good job with curly hair so I had to see him again. The salon is very neat and tidy. That said, Han was less than pleasant. He denied to cut my bangs to the length I requested. When I told him that’s what he did last time, he said he couldn’t have and that there was no way my hair grew this much. I showed him a picture I took from my previous cut and while he hesitated, he finally believed me. After some back forth, which I believe was totally unprofessional and soured my mood, he finally started my appointment. I’m happy with the cut and style but going to get a haircut shouldn’t be as stressful and aggressive as this experience was. Considering how far this location was and the experience I had, I would rather go elsewhere.

Han always knows how to cut my combination curly/straight hair. He takes care when placing highlights to make sure the placement works with my ever-changing hair part. It is well worth my extra 10-minutes of travel time. I fully trust him to make choices for my hair. Visits to Han are always a great break from my hectic life. Nice music (they take requests), a beverage in hand, and getting my hair done, needed self-care! My favorite part of getting my hair done is when my hair is wrapped in a hot towel after washing. It is so relaxing, some may fall asleep (I admit to nothing ). The new salon is clean, fresh and bright. The prices are fair and the location has sufficient free parking. If your hair stylist can't get you in for an appointment when you need, or you want to get out of your same-old hairstyle rut. Give these folks a call!

I am really happy to have stumbled upon Lala Salon’s page on Google when I was searching for a great salon in town since the other salon I was planning to go to rejected me as they didn’t accept walk ins. I am grateful that they turned me down because otherwise I wouldn’t have met Han. Han was not only accommodating, but clearly he knows what he is doing. As a professional hairdresser, he made sure he understood what kind of hairstyle I wanted and cut my hair to precision and perfection . I am no longer searching for other hairdresser in town and I would highly recommend anyone to trust Han to do his job. You will be in good hands!

A friend of mine that lives close to La La salon went to see Han last week, and was very happy.. She was basically just a walk in and said she had one of the best haircuts she has ever had. Therefore, I thought I should take a peek since I am looking for a new stylist. I went in today for a consult just to meet him, and I ended up staying for two hours. He cut my hair expertly, and did the best colour I have had in years. I am so excited to meet someone so skilled, professional, and in my opinion, well priced. I am tired of paying hundreds and hundreds of dollars for haircut and color. I have found my guy! I'll definitely be back.

Han is the best hair stylist I have ever had, and believe me that I have had many and I am picky! He cut my hair 7 years ago once and I have not let anyone else touch my hair since. He is an artist. I trust him fully with my hair, so much that I won’t even tell him what I want when I sit on the chair. He knows what suits me best. I also truly enjoy my conversations with him while I am there. His is an honest man and his fees are very reasonable. My teenage daughter has also joined the club and only wants her hair cut by Han. It is truly a pleasure knowing him and I am so happy to have found him.

Lala Hair Salon truly saved the day for us! My six-year-old daughter decided to take matters into her own hands and gave herself a little haircut mishap. Exceptional haircut from lala, it was my third haircut from her, and she is very detail oriented, she continues to cut my hair with consistency. Lala Lala hair salon has a very comfortable atmosphere, and the stylists focus on the quality of each individual’s haircut. Highly recommend this salon because they are very client focused, and the head massage is the cherry on top. There is a lot of parking, and the music selection creates a very relaxing environment.

My son and I recently visited LaLa Hair Salon for haircuts. The salon was clean and modern, and the music was great. Mr. Han even asked us who we wanted to listen to and played their songs. We were both very pleased with our haircuts, as Mr. Han and Lala paid exceptional attention to detail. They are both very knowledgeable about head shapes and cutting hair to make it look good. Pity I can only give 5 stars. We will definitely be returning soon.

originally went in for a perm but ended up getting a hair cut today, was recommended by the hairstylist to let my hair grow out more before. The stylist, Han, was very friendly & knowledgable, was able to answer any questions i had regarding my hair such as how to style/manage/maintain my hair. will definitely be coming back to get my hair done once it has grown out more.

Mr. Han is experienced and caring hairstylist. I did man perm & haircut today. Before starting to do style I requested, he consulted carefully but still asked for permission to do in his way. He’s also fun and kind, he tried to communicate to make me feel comfortable and even offered drinks while I was waiting for my perm. Ps: salon is also new, clean and well decorated.

Location is great. Place are very clean. Whole family of four using Han at least 15+ Years. Glad he own his own business now. Once you let him cut your hair. You wouldn't try other Hair Stylist. Make sure you make an appointment. Also he spend a lot of time just even a simple hair cut. And make sure everything look's great. Money well spend with the service he provide.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting LaLa Hair Salon, it was great experience from start to finish. I got hair colouring and hair cut service. My stylist Lala and her co-owner were awesome and guiding best color for me! Lala is really friendly and kind. If you are unsure in which hair salon to pick in Calgary, I strongly recommend this one!

I have known Han for 10+ years. I call him the “colour wizard” because he is incredibly talented with the art of hair colouring. I’ve had so many friends and strangers come up to me and ask me where I get my hair done because he is THAT good. I have trusted him with my hair for 10+ years and he is basically family. These two hairdressers were so wonderful with my two daughters! They patiently asked what each one wanted and did a phenomenal job! One even entertained my third daughter by encouraging her to keep being her unique, eclectic self: so sweet. Pricing was on the higher end for kids cuts but my kids like complex cuts so it was fair.

His work is unique and very professional and he has a lot of skill in his work. I recommend that you come and see that he is very professional.I love his work and because he made my hair according to my wishes and according to his own opinion, his work is unique, definitely come and you will see his professional work up close.
