The Lake Gardens, also known as the Perdana Botanical Gardens, is a large public park located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The park covers an area of approximately 91.6 hectares and is one of the oldest and most popular parks in the city. The Lake Gardens is home to a wide variety of flora and fauna, including over 10,000 trees and plants, many of which are rare and exotic. The park also features several man-made lakes, including the famous Lake Symphony, which is a popular spot for boating and picnicking. In addition to its natural beauty, the Lake Gardens is also home to many attractions and amenities, including the Kuala Lumpur Bird Park, the Butterfly Park, the Orchid and Hibiscus Garden, and the National Monument. The park also boasts several jogging and walking paths, as well as playgrounds, picnic areas, and food stalls. One of the most notable features of the Lake Gardens is the beautiful Islamic-inspired architecture of the Kuala Lumpur Islamic Arts Museum, which is located within the park. The museum houses one of the largest collections of Islamic art in Southeast Asia. the Lake Gardens is a must-visit destination for anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur. Its serene beauty, abundant wildlife, and many attractions make it a popular spot for locals and tourists alike. Open 24 hours, just some parts restricted

This is the City's major botanical park for recreational activities. Whilst most of the park is well maintained and the major treks and walkways are kept clean, the major issue is the total lack of supervision by DBKL (City Hall) or Park authorities on ongoing major refurbishments or repairs. Projects would be started. Barricades will be put up.....and then there will be no action or progress for the next few months. Take for example the main carpark which has been closed for so many months. Some demolition works were carried out and some earthworks were done....and then nothing else progresses. Park goers have been deprived of the main car park and wash room facilities for so many months! The last time the repaving of about 70 meters of walkway near the tunnel leading to Jalan Bangsar was carried out took almost a year to complete! This could normally be carried out within a week or two weeks at most! What is happening? Where is the project supervision or management?

Please2 DBKL macam mana orang nak lepak Tasik ni kalau parking tak cukup? New York Central Park tu ada banyak access subway and seberang jalan dari population like commercial & residential buildings... mmg sentiasa penuh orang piknik, jogging sebab accessible. Ours? Nak kena jalan kaki dari LRT Pasar Seni ke? And jangan suruh kitorang pergi bayar parking bertingkat tu....bangunan parking tu sendiri dah mencacatkan pemandangan sekitar...kalau u all allow kerb side parking untuk masa terhad like public holiday, semua orang happy. Think! KL should be city yang berdayahuni. We need reform minded city administrator, dari datuk bandar, board hingga pengarah jabatan dan staf... Buktikan diri anda layak dan banyak membantu improving our city.

Me & my Family have spent many memorable moments of our KL stay in the Lake Gardens. This Garden is the best place for a walk, jog, yoga and meditation in the morning & evening. Over here meditation on colors of sunrise, sunset, flowers, nature, and sky can calm down the mind ‍♂️‍♀️☸✡✝️☪️ The Garden has a beautiful lake, and has facilities for all kinds of people & physical activities - children play area, playground, walking & jogging track, yoga & meditation. There are beautiful gardens with fountains. The trees and grass planted are excellent, and this is a very nice place to relax with the family and de-stress in fresh air. The Garden staff are also very helpful and courteous. Congratulations and best wishes for the Authorities maintaining the Lake Gardens.

The Perdana Botanical Garden, formerly known as Taman Tasik Perdana or Lake Gardens, is situated in the Heritage Park of Kuala Lumpur. It has always been a part of the green lung of the city and has a history of over a decade. Originally created as part of a recreational park but planted with collections of tropical plants, the garden have been rehabilitated and turned into a Botanical Garden. The garden have not only botanical collections but also house features that give the visitors the ambiance of being in a tropical rainforest, despite being in the middle of a bustling metropolis.

NO SMOKING BUT ALL PARK EMPLOYEES ARE ALLOWED TO POLLUTE THE PARK The Chinese saying goes: Don't allow citizens to light candles Allow soldiers to set fire Well done for banning smoking Big Big signs warn against smoking However Authories should ban their employees from polluting the park with their motorcycles emitting 1000 times more CO2 compared to one cigarette!!! They gave electronic carts but for show only!!! Please we beg the Head of department to ban employees working in the park with their smoke emitting equipment and bikes

Amazing city park with a lot of walking ways, running tracks, large umbrellas to ease scorching sunrays, not to mention abundance of greenery and trees that adds a jungle nuance than a regular park . But beware on picnics, the ants are the largest gang on the ground and they mob to your mat, clothes, foods, nuts in no time! ‍♂️ don’t keep food containers open. Can even see Deers , how about that

The first time I came here with my friend, the second time I came here by myself. Not only for walking but also I can run far away from the city. You will see various trees, look them special. I like Africa sausage trees so much, fruits look like big sausages, brown. You’ll see a waterfall there, beautiful mushrooms (I found on the way back home), deer park,…etc, free ticket and close National museum of Malaysia.
