I have been a patient here for 25+ yrs. Dr. Michael Cohen & staff are highly skilled Dentists, Assistants & Receptionists with excellence in patient care & comfort. Yesterday I had 3 fillings done by Dr. Vlad and it was done with minimal pain and discomfort. When he said he was done, I was in disbelief because I thought it would take at least another 45 min. The assistant was just as skilled and had a friendly personality. We chatted while waiting for the freezing to be complete. Dr. Vlad's gentleness combined with his skill made my visit to the dentist a positive one. Thank you to all the staff in reception and others throughout my visit. I can't recommend this dental office enough. Dr Christian was the dentist who took care of me for both a broken tooth and a tooth extraction and he and his staff went above and beyond to make sure that I felt comfortable. I have always been very afraid of dentists but my experience with Lakeside family dental and Dr Christian really put me at ease. I am so thrilled with how everything went, how fast and well they were able to take care of me how clean the offices are, how friendly reception is and I am very grateful to say they were willing to work with me on a payment schedule so that I could get the work I needed done quickly without finances getting in the way. My first visit was 1979. Mel Cohen, always professional in his crisp white shirt, silk tie and starched white lab coat was my dentist. Not only was he a perfectionist, he was the ultimate gentleman and so confident with his trade. Mel has long retired. Not only did he pass along the practice to his son Michael, but he also passed on his wonderful character traits and natural talents. Michael, in turn, has filled his practice with energetic, positive, talented and helpful individuals who truly care. No more shirt and tie, more like jeans and T's, a more relaxed and homey atmosphere in a state of the art facility. I have, and will continue to recommend this group ... they are real quality.

I have been going to Lakeside Dental for 50 years and saw Dr. Mel throughout my childhood and now Dr. Michael. There has been many changes to the office location, decor and some staff but their caring spirit for their patients never changes. I miss some of the old team (Hedy, Dr. Mel) but the newer team members are just as friendly and caring. Sue has been a mainstay and I always enjoy catching up when I see her. Their response to COVID was immediate and the changes in the office (enclosed rooms, HePa filters, arrival procedures) means I always feel safe. My kids are the third generation to go to Lakeside, and we couldn’t be happier. Keep up the great work !

I was recommended this dental office by a coworker, I've had many dentists before that didn't understand how sensitive my teeth actually are and since my very first appointment here I knew I finally found the one. They are extremely friendly, very knowledgeable and will answer any questions you might have. Very professional and clean environment. They bill your insurance directly which is a huge relief, I'm so happy to have a dentist I can trust. They are so gentle, you also don't feel the needles going in! This is the first dental office where I didn't feel ANY pain whatsoever. I cannot say enough good things about them.

I have been a patient here for over 20 years since I was a child. I had my braces done here. But regrettably my permanent retainer (top and bottom) keeps breaking and exposing sharp pointed metal on the inside of my gums causing irritation and bleeding to my tongue. Everytime its needed to be fixed (4 times in counting) it is costly and around 200.00 to have it removed all together.. Seems like a bit of a money grab, also concidering it is a reoccurring problem that keeps breaking even after multiple repairs. The receptionists and Sue are always very friendly and staff have always been great.

My Family and I have been coming here for the last 6 years. This is the 4th dentist I have used and one was a brother in-law. None have provided close to the level of service we have received from Lakeside. All the staff are friendly and helpful and the dentist's are top notch. Dr. DeCesare in particular has done some amazing restorative work on my front teeth allowing me to have a full smile again. When I go for a cleaning the Dental Hygienists always take the time to provide me with recommendations for taking better care of my teeth.

I tried Lakeside Dental as it's close to my home. While the staff were quite friendly, they scheduled one of my appointments at one time and told me another time. Then on rescheduling, they messed it up again. The level of personal conversation between the dentist and hygienist while trying to fix my tooth was uncomfortable. On top of that, the crack in a filling the dentist was supposed to fix by drilling it out and resurfacing it is still an issue two years later. I'm going back to my previous dentist.

We love this dentist! I love that we can have our orthodontist and our dentist under one roof. My daughter feels so special when she enters the office. I feel good sending her in on her own, she always comes out smiling. The staff is so welcoming and supportive. It feels like we are visiting friends when we go for our appointment. Dr Michael did a great job on my first implant. I was so impressed with the high level of personal service that I transferred my account from a dentist where I had a 20+ year relationship. I feel Lakeshore Dental can serve me better as I need more crowns and implants. The office is clean, spacious and as safe as any business can be. I recommend Dr Michael and his excellent and very friendly support team. Update-great work on painlessly repairing a filling that had deteriorated.

There is no joy living with bad teeth. Less joy understanding how expensive help can be. Most centres are more concerned with money, rather than the patient. Lakeside, Dr. Cohen and the team, are amazing. Why? Because they put me first. Are honest with options and realistic treatment. When our eldest daughter had a very bad experience with a previous dentist, at age 5, we were referred to Dr M Cohen and never regretted that decision from day one. After 5 years this dental office has taken care of our family needs and has been just top notch, great staff, great vibe, and the quality of work and attention to detail has been exceptional. Ah the dentist. Remembering childhood visits when your fingernails scraped the door jamb as Mom tried to physically coerce you into the room with the big chair. Today I had Bethany for my check up after I chipped my tooth from grinding my teeth in my sleep. Bethany was wonderful very clear and explained everything and answered all my questions and how to prevent/slow down any issues that may arise.

The service is excellent by all the staff and Dr Cohen is by far the best dentist that I have ever been to. He is knowledgeable and experienced and ensures that you are comfortable while he is working on your teeth. The attitude of receptionist who was on duty on Sept.19th was very rude. I’ve been Canada for more than 15 years, this is the first time I met with such bad attitude in the dental office! And for people who have to pay from your own pocket, be careful about their surprise charges. I was charged almost 300 dollars for just regular cleaning and initially I was quoted about 150!

Always looked after well here by everyone but a recent emergency really topped the scale to excellent. Dr Vladimir Jokic looked after my root canal (and wisdom tooth extraction) not only with care but genuine kindness...who gets to giggle in the dental chair during such surgery! The admin team are accommodating and professional to the very last detail. Thank you!

I look at it this way, when you're done at the dentist, you should feel like your mouth just went through a good full body massage. You shouldn't have pain, it should just have a good "worked over" feeling. That's how my mouth felt when I left, clean and worked over. Already booked my next mouth massage.
