I am new to Muizenberg. Lakeside Pharmacy manages my standing cronic script. I went today to ask advise on lower back pain, and to purchase Eulactol heal balm. Firstly, the gentlemen at the pharmacy counter had no idea what Eulactol was, and after numerous requests he checked the systems to obtain its out of stock. He wasnt at all interested in assisting with my back pain by making it known in raising his voice to me.. I had to ask for anti-inflams, which he hesitantly gave. When i asked to process through my medical aid he bluntly said NO, its only R13.... Steer far away from this place!

My wife went there first time ever, to buy cough syrup, and asked for 2 bottles. One to use and one to save for future use. We all where sick recently and used up every drop in the house. She was stared at like she was a druggy and told derogatively that she can only get one. Made me very angry suffice to say, I will advise evryone we know to not shop there. Clicks in Capricorn is a way better option. Super profesional at the pharmacy and very helpfull. Will rather take the drive and go there than endure such unprofesional behaviour.

I am 100% sure i have never met more disgruntled, blatantly rude, completely disinterested, entirely uninvolved, less friendly people inside a store of any sort before. Kind of sad considering its where people go for health advice or when they are ill. I could forgive them for one of the above personality traits but it seems everyone was afflicted by all of the above. Just as well i won't be in seeing you again - i would hate to catch whatever you folks have!

Nurse Lorna refused to give me an Intra mascular Injection when I presented the script from the doctor. She told me to go back to the doctor and let the doctor give me the injection! Nurses like that is throwing away the good name of other Nurses. She was really unprofessional. She also reflects negatively on the good name of the pharmacy. I bought the Injection from Lakeside Pharmacy and now have to go and find some one to give it to me

These guys are brilliant. Friendly, professional, helpful, and with a real sense of local knowledge and community spirit. I go for Vit B shots at their clinic (marvelling at the odd baby in to be weighed), I get my prescriptions filled at the counter, and I love browsing the choc-o-bloc aisles too. Jo Monson

I have used Lakeside Pharmacy for many years and have always been happy with their service. It's just a pity that they close early on a Saturday and no longer open on a Sunday.

Overpriced, not helpful, pharmacist standing at the pharmacy counter not worried about you waiting while she types away on her cellphone. Won’t be back here.

Never had a pleasant experience at this pharm. The staff need to up their game when it comes to customer interaction/engagement. Rude and disconnected.

Providing a helpful solution is not their forte A pharmacy is a pharmacy is a pharmacy … it should be more than that Blue Route is just up the road

It is Saturday afternoon and I need my prescription meds but they are closed and are only open again on Monday. New owner not community orientated.

Friendly staff and open longer than most independent pharmacies. Just wish they would dispose of expired meds to save me from driving too far.
