I have been using Laney’s delivery laundry service for some time now. It’s not been without its hiccups, but I h ave had mostly good experiences. That being said the woman who works there answering the phones is awful. The complete disregard for basic customer service is unreal. I have a set laundry schedule arranged with Laney’s. Same pickup day every two weeks. Sane drop off day. I realized I wouldn’t be able to meet them on the morning of. I did cancel online but from experience knew that I needed to follow up. The woman on the phone kept insisting that she couldn’t help me, and kept telling me I’d need to cancel online. I explained that I had done this. But since it was the same day I wanted to follow up directly to ensure the cancelled appointment was understood. She kept directing me to the website. Long story short, they showed up. They charge $10 for this. I tried to cancel repeatedly and wasn’t able to. My husband happened to be home though. He calls me at work to say the laundry isn’t prepared for pickup and the laundry guy is there. Not wanting to get charged $10 for nothing, I told him to grab my sons laundry from his room and gave it over. I could always send the rest out later, fine. But they STILL charged me $10.75. Because my laundry didn’t meet the minimum requirements. I paid $21.75 for $11 worth on laundry. I may as well have just not given them anything. The charge would’ve been only $10. The woman on the phone was just useless. All this could have been avoided with some common sense and basic customer service training.

I use to love coming to Laneys Laundry. I was one of the first customers during their Grand Opening. The machines are fast and have worked great, However the women that works in the evenings is incredibly rude and unprofessional. I came in after nine and the door was locked. I wanted to do one load of laundry. The female employee came to the door and said it’s too late , asked why I was there and told me to go somewhere else . Incredibly RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL The laundry mat is open till 11pm. The women finally opened the door but continued to criticize me. I’ve never been treated so poorly in a public facility in my entire life. I almost wanted to call the police. I actually feared for my safety. On a previous Laneys occasion my daughter sat in the massage chair and several cockroaches crawled out. It was a disgusting sight. Laneys use to be a fun place to do laundry but unfortunately it’s gone down hill.

Went to Laney's Laundry and dropped my laundry. First of all, the service they provide is excellent. Laundry was done under 24 hours and neatly packed into clear plastic bags and my bags were washed and put together with my order. A few items were placed on the hangers to avoid them being wrinkled, which I had never seen before being done anywhere else. Pricing was extremely fair and I got a 10% discount coupon. Detergence that Laney's Laundry is using and offering to their client is top shell items and for nay taste and choice, even organic, if you wish. So many varieties that it blows your mind, in a good sense of it. Staff was pleasant and helpful, very respectful and patient. Overall, my experience was extremely satisfactory. I used to use this laundromat as my only laundering service but honestly im over them and will never use them again. Ive only ever dropped off and had pick-up ive never done my laundry there myself. The last time i dropped off i looked at the scale and it said 24.2 but when i checked my receipt when i got home i was charged at 25 lbs. I recently had them pick-up my clothes as i am currently homebound and i weighed the bag myself and it was 25.2 but they charged me at 27 lbs. I tried reaching out on their contact us from the website and received no answer as to why i keep being over charged. Other times I didn't pay attention to the weight but my laundry has been kept for days even when i drop it off relatively earlier even though the sign says same day. Im just over them. Hope this helps.

I can’t attest to the laundromat, but their dry cleaning service is a mess. Pros: very low cost Cons: everything else. It took 12 days to dry clean a single suit. I called multiple times and they kept saying: by tomorrow afternoon. After one week I decided to go by in person and my order could not be located. They called the dry cleaner (they don’t do it on the premises) and they said my order didn’t exist. I left worried but with the promise the lady would call me back. Of course she didn’t and I had to call back two more times before receiving a call back that my order was found at another location and it would be ready to pickup in another two days. Finally picked up, the result was ok, but I would not recommend this due to the messy and very slow service.

I went there at 8:40pm on 01/24/22 which is the hours that I usually do my laundry and the women in charge didn’t allow me do my laundry even when she knows that I always finish before 9:50pm and there says that is closed at 10pm. So the women was very rude and I’ve been customer of this laundry since when they open it. That’s no nice I had to walk back to my home 20min and I couldn’t done my laundry. Last time when I went there she basically shutdown the store at 9:48pm for me to go out, fortunately my laundry was done at 9:45pm the other 2 Latin girls was really nice except that women which personally makes the laundry poor customer service. This is a nice laundry and I would like still use it but I don’t feel confortable with the staff.

I love coming here during the day the staff here is SO NICE however I came in this evening just before 8:45pm and this woman almost didn’t let me wash my items (fortunately they needed to be washed via machine) I’ve read through the comments and someone else had a similar experience with a staff member 5 months ago, so it’s sad to see that the same woman is STILL causing an issue here, to the point that she had locked out two elderly customers from the laundromat at 8:55pm when I believe the last wash is supposed to be at 9:15pm. Disappointing but I guess I can only come in the mornings ‍♀️

Lovely addition to the neighborhood, however there's an ongoing issue with the attendants not willing to assist getting washers available for use. Customers leave the laundry in washers and you basically have to wait until they return to empty the washer. Although I've asked they are not willing to help with the situation, if the attendants were efficient to avoid this they'll gladly have the washer available instead having the next person stand and wait. It's frustrating poor business practice considering there's a sign notifying DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CLOTHING IN THE MACHINE! it will be removed

Maria is the ultimate professional—efficient, knowledgeable, helpful—a pleasure to work with. Brought her two loads of towels/sheets over the weekend—one on Saturday and one on Sunday—and both were speedily completed with care. Maria understood that we were under tremendous pressure because we were only in Kew Gardens for 48 hours (clearing out the 60+ year old contents of an apartment). Maria made sure that everything was clean and folded neatly before we left for Penn Station. Thank you, Maria! Your kindness means the world to us.

Unfortunately they lost $400+ of my clothing (I have the receipts of what I can recall is lost) and they’re offering a $200 credit to have my laundry done with them and a $200 refund. My fiance has tried to get them to adjust this because there is no way we will be using them again after they lost such a significant amount of clothing yet they are not answering his phone calls to discuss. We gave them 2+ years of weekly business, it’s a shame this is how they treat their once loyal customers.

Just moved to the area. Saw this place when I was driving around. One of the nicest cleanest laundromat I have ever been to. Rarely(so far only 1 time) do I come in to broken machines (only 1 dryer was broken). Laney's should be a bigger franchise than Laundry Palace. I love the brand new machines, they clean my clothes so well. I will only use this place. I love that the machines use card vs cash/coin. Will be coming back here to do my laundry.

They have ac - they actually have ac that is wonderful because previously I could not find a laundromat with ac and this is amazing in the NY summer. Also their machines are great, laundry comes out clean and the place is clean. The staff is great too and the laundry experience is so much better than at any other place. I no longer want to delay laundry because of heat or discomfort. For a woman in her late 40s this is heaven lol.

This place is dirty. They have a few broken machines. They are unstaffed. The owner watches from the cameras and is more worried about people sitting in the massage chair than how dirty things are. Maybe instead of calling this unstaffed workers to ask someone to move from their massage chair, they should ask the staff to sweep up.

This local laundry is amazing. The staff is always receptive. Randy delivers exceptional, outstanding and goes above and beyond in delivering amazing customer service. I very rarely have to wait on a machine. The machines are brand and do a good wash and dry. I recommend this place to the locals for a great laundry service

I love this place. I actually look forward to doing my laundry when I head over Laney’s Laundry. The sweetest people work here. Everyone is so hospital. The machines are clean. Free coffee/water. Cool music playing ! I’m so happy we finally have a fast and friendly Laundromat in Kew Gardens !!!

If you want to leave your clothes for pickup and have them taken on a van tour for four days while the employees play the blame game and the bosses avoid you, please proceed to gamble by doing business with them.

I used to love this place but recently I've been getting extra charges for things I've never been charged for with little to no explanation. Also a small throw shouldn't count as a comforter and cost $7 to wash.

Incredible customer service. Brand new machines. Flat out, the best laundry mat in Kew! Seriously don’t want to go anywhere else to do my laundry. I walk 20 min just to go to laneys! Love this place!

This laundry mat location is really great . It offers a Clean and spacious service area with complimentary beveraging ,media entertainments and much more through your laundry service wait.

Lost laundry never go to these people management is also of no assistance. Try any other place if you like the clothes you wear unfortunate cause the workers themselves are very sweet.

Very nice people. They have a computer where you put in how you’d like your laundry to be done if you’re doing drop off. If there are issues the manager rectify it immediately.

My go to laundry service for 2 years. Update: They lost $300-$400 worth of workout clothes and have a terrible response time. My business with them is finished.
