Very nice place and elegant items and I enjoyed shopping there until the day I went to return some of the items that I bought a few days earlier. As I was standing at the counter the customer service lady was talking on phone and while she’s on phone she asked me if I have returns and asked me to put them on. Still holding the phone, she started checking the items and refunding some of them. Then she hang up and told me that she cannot return the last item as there was no yellow tag on it. While questioning why, she told me that she’s going to return it for me but warned me that next time she would not. I tried to explain that I bought the item originally with no yellow tag on it, but she kept saying “anyway, will do it for you this time” in an voice of accusation that I did that. And when I started expressing my frustration saying that cashier people should give more attention when selling these items with no yellow tags, she told me not to talk to her like that. Now, just to be sure, I went again to the aisle and found many dresses with no tags on them so took some of them and showed that to her but she did not care. I said thank you.. she did not reply. With such accusations and bad costumer service, I don’t think I’m gonna shop there anymore. I don’t know her name but the PMCashier 044041 was on the receipt.

The Laura store at the Oakville Place Mall is the largest I've ever seen. It's on the 2nd floor, in the space formerly occupied by Sears. There's a big Melanie Lynn section, as well as big sections for Laura merchandise for petites, plus size, and formal dresses. There's also a separate area for sale/clearance items. The change rooms are spacious. The store is well staffed with helpful sales people. Beatrice, in particular, provided exceptional service. She made recommendations based on my preferences, and brought several items to my change room for me to try on. It was like having my own personal shopper/stylist. Beatrice was patient, helpful, and honest, as well as being very stylish, herself. I give the rating of 5 stars out of 5 for Beatrice's professional services. For the store itself, my only complaint was that the smallest size available for many items is a size 4, and even if the item is available in a size 2, that size is rarely found in store; instead, the store will order it to be delivered to the customer's home. If you like the merchandise at Laura, try this location for its huge selection, plentiful, well sized change rooms, and great staff.

Edited: I was very happy with the great service received from both Michelle and Jasleen. I visited the store on July 12 to use my birthday bonus, but didn’t realize it just expired. I wasn’t planning to buy anything, if not for that bonus. Michelle was nice enough to extend that bonus for me and I ended up buying a nice summer dress. Unfortunately my size was sold out so she had to get it shipped from B.C. When it arrived in store a couple days later, she left me a nice message to let me know. I picked it up the next day, and was also very pleased with the service provided by Jasleen. She offered to steam it for me, and put it in a nice garment bag after so it would not get wrinkled. We had a nice conversation, she was very friendly, helpful and down to earth. She said many positive things about the store, merchandise and management. And I could tell she was very happy working there. I will be back soon with my daughter, who also loves this store, to do more shopping. We hope to see Jasleen and Michelle again.

My husband and I went to Laura today to find a coat for me. Not only did we find a beautiful coat on sale, but our entire experience was wonderful . Tracey and Sandra were amazing. Tracey was extremely outgoing and friendly and very helpful . I have been unwell for a number of weeks but she brightened my spirits and made me laugh. We will definitely be returning to this particular store as we were made to feel valued . It’s so nice when you can joke with people and just be real . Can’t say enough good about the ladies at this store . Overall amazing experience . Thankyou !!!!

My company has taken on a more corporate look so I needed to change my wardrobe. I came into the store hoping to find one or two pieces. Gloria came over and asked if she could help me. I explained what I was looking for and Gloria went into action. She brought me all kinds of items that co-ordinated beautifully and was honest with me about what looked good. She was amazingly kind and helpful and made a process that I was not looking forward too, very enjoyable. She was simply wonderful. I will definitely shop there again and I hope that it is a day when Gloria is working.

The salesperson was very kind, patient and attentive. Due to her kind and courteous demeanor my friend purchased several items as well. Unfortunately, when I received the dress that was ordered, I was extremely disappointed. The dress had pulled threads and seemed dirty. I returned it to the store and purchased a beautiful gown from my favorite MELANIE LYNE store.

We have returned for a 2nd time to be serviced by Helen Helen already knew what Mom liked and remembered all her sizes Helen made the experience so much fun. She was attentive and we never felt pressured We left the store with 2 amazing dresses and a gorgeous pant suit Thank you Helen for making Mom look and feel like a Princess
