I have always been an avid Laura Customer, but I am so mad at your company and your representatives right now. I went in on January 6th, 2018, looking for a party dress for my work event. Before I could even step foot into the "petite" section because I saw a dress with colors I liked, I was shooed away by your sales representative. I was told this was "only for petites" and pointed to the regular size area. That didnt end there. She continuously followed me around pointing out dress sizes to me. I felt like CRYING. I was so mad. I almost walked out of the store. Luckily, I have my head on my shoulders, and I know how beautiful I am. Your sales people will never distract me from that. Shame on your company for body shaming. Shame on you for making women feel less beautiful. We should be able to walk into the store and choose whatever we want without being body shamed for it. This is unacceptable,

I had purchased a dress and because my event was cancelled I went to this location to return the dress. The woman working in the evening questioned why my party was cancelled and was so disrespectful. She refused to return the dress and made me out to be lying claiming I’ve worn it, when the only time it was worn was when I tried it in the change room. She was frantically checking the dress and then even put the dress to her face and started smelling it. The dress had the black tag at the back that proves the dress was not worn. She was extremely rude and condescending. I purchase from ML in Bayshore mall all the time but this location is a disappointing example of customer service. I would love to have a conversation with management so that they can clearly see how many dresses I’ve purchased before as a loyal member. I will keep going to Bayshore Mall and I advice others to do the same.

The floor sales persons were helpful but the girl at the cash seemed new and not at all helpful about getting the discount applied from a Melanie Lynne card though the shop sells both Laura and ML products, they are both affiliated sister companies and other stores used to honor reciprocally. The manager, with a british accent, gave me a rather condescending run around and made no effort to get my $50/- discount applied for each $150/- spent, despite having spent over $3000/- within the year of purchases, and the purchase on this date was over $220/. No consideration or flexibility shown, very poor service at cash, very disappointing! the only redemption was that the cashier did pack each gift item in its own bag.

I am a very good customer and always get great service whenever I shop at the Vaughan Ontario or Gatineau, Quebec locations, however my experience at this location was not very pleasant. I walked in the store 15 minutes before closing and soon as I walked in the door they were already on me about how I would need to rush. How could i enjoy my shopping when i was being rushed from the moment i walked in. Then they messed up my discount and i had to remind them about it. Definitely wasn't a good shopping experience for me at this location.

An eclectic variety of colours and patterns, and a good selection in non-petite sizes. Merlette took the time required to satisfy my wife's requirements for dramatic fall dresses and compatible jacket; she was very happy with the selection. However, she was unhappy that the discount she was promised in return for her wedding shopping had an unexpected expiry date.

My Husband bought me a pair of capris for my birthday 2 days ago and they were to big . So today he went to this store on Merivale Rd. To exchange them and the person who was supposed to help him was rude and this store is really dirty and no one is very helpful at all so we will not shop there again!!!! To bad I couldn’t rate it a ZERO

I had a fantastic shopping experience at the Merivale location, 100% due to the assistance and recommendations provided by staffer Rabia. I can't say enough positive things - and I loathe garment shopping for special occasions. But I happily walked away with three perfect outfits from that excursion. Will definitely shop here again.

If I could rate lower I would the manager Marietta i believe her name is at this location was so rude and showing no sympathy for handicapped senior. Also as soon as I get In the door I am harassed to be helped. Give me a moment to look around. Absolutely terrible store, it's clean that's really the only good thing going for them.

A wonderful woman by the name of Rosario helped me throughout my search for a dress to wear at my niece's wedding. Rosario was kind, thoughtful and patient with someone who is hard to fit and suffers with physical ailments. I would recommend this store to anyone. Thank you for helping me; I will return. :-)

I Have been shopping at this Laura since it reopened in December 2022. The staff is wonderful starting with Leah, the manager and the two sales associates, Sarah and Rabia, who consistently provide me with excellent service. It is always a pleasure to shop there. Thank you ladies.

I have been shopping at ML since it open. July 2021 I had such a bad experience with the manager did not say or call head office. Today the people who works there is so COLD, no long says hi they just walk around looking at you. So sad WILL NOT BE SHOPPING AT MERIVALE ANYMORE.

Would definitely purchase a special-occasion outfit or maybe a new job suit. Definitely on the pricey side for my budget but good pieces can also be had in the many sale racks. Had I more time would have browsed more thoroughly.

If I could rate no stars I would. To enter your store and be greeted as "my dear" by sales staff is condescending. In this day and age there is no place for this insulting behaviour. I won't be returning.

Just went to Laura for the first time. The staff there went out of their way trying to find clothes in size 0. I usually wear kids sizes and was hoping to find a few pieces that fit, which they did.

Not too impressed. Spent 15 minutes scanning dresses for a gala - not one associate even said hello to me. I never tried any on because I didn't want to bother the otherwise.... busy? Associates.

Went here to get an idea of what this year's colors are. Nice enough store, but the racks were overstuffed with stock making it difficult for me to search for items as I have wrist issues.
