Edit: the response below is inaccurate. I definitely reviewed the right shop. Hi. I used this service mid way through a 2 week holiday and was disappointed. The first item I took out of the bag was a pair of shorts made from good material that was still dirty, it wasn’t washed for the material it is. My second peeve is the way the shirts were folded, the collars were folded up into balls and are now difficult to get back into shape. My third issue wouldn’t bother me usually only that it was on top of the other 2, no effort was made to pair up the socks and 1 pair is still damp.

This is a wonderful service! We had the equivalent of at least three loads of laundry washed, dried, and folded in three hours. Yes, it was 50 euros, but my back of the napkin math shows that three loads of laundry at the prices we paid at a laundromat in Split would also be about 50 euros if not more (10 euros per wash load and then paying for time in each dryer). Not to mention the time we saved by not having to trek our clothes to a laundromat and then wait for them! Definitely recommend this convenient and flexible service.

Speedy service. I dropped off my two bags of laundry before 08:00, and was able to pick up the clothes at 15:00. The pice is a bit high, but not out of reason considering what everything else costs in Dubrovnik. On the negative side, I'd sorted the laundry into darks and whites, but evidently all the clothes were washed together as a few white items ended up with dark marks on them. Oh well... I don't pack anything too nice for traveling anyway... FYI, Google is incorrect about the hours. Lavaman opens at 07:00, not 09:00.

Just picked up a load of laundry that my girlfriend and I dropped off yesterday. Everything seems to be in order with the clothes but only 1 Star for a very big reason, they made us pay twice!!!!!! Would not give us our clothes unless we paid them at pick up even though we paid the full amount of 250 kuna at drop off. Argued with the staff this morning when we went to pick up but they would not listen. GET A RECEIPT if you pay at drop off or you might have to pay double. Very disappointingly see the locals act like this.

My wife and I took 5 days of clothing in when they opened, came back at lunch and got everything back nice and folded. It was so much better than wasting 2-3 hours of vacation time doing it ourselves. A very, very full load totaled 26 euros. I’m not sure what we would have spent doing it ourselves, but probably about 10. So is the up charge worth it to get 2-3 hours of vacation time doing things you want to do? Yes. It is.

We have been in dubrovnik for two weeks and me and my boyfriend needed to wash our clothes. When we came they wanted 500 kuna for 2 bags of clothes, and this is in november. It was mainly socks and underwear. When we said that it was way to much money, they switched personalities very fast. They were rude and extremely bad service. I am not going there again and i never comment anything on reviewes but this was awful.

Excellent service. I arrived at Lavaman with four lbs of laundry after 2pm on a Saturday and was told to return at closing time, 4pm. I had my doubts, but when I returned, I was delighted all of my clothes were neatly folded, dry and smelled amazing in two new carrying bags. I cannot recommend them more highly for their professional service and quick turnaround time!

Very professional. She was open early and took my clothes sooner. She weight the clothes and don't try to make it pricier than it should be. Clothes were smelling good and fresh. It was well dry. It took only 2 hours. I travel light so for my clothes it actually cost me less than doing it myself somewhere else. I recommend 100%. Great job.

Clerks are too unfriendly. They were somehow using scales to measure the weight of the laundry, and there were concerns as to whether they were measuring it correctly. Tourist prices were high. It would have been better if they were unmanned and the prices were lower. The work was adequate, but 2 stars due to many negative factors.

Worst laundry service in the old city. They charge 10 eur for one kilo and the clothes were dirty after the service. They just get them wet, wait them to dry and fold it. The clothes were as dirty as we leave them there after the service. Do not waste your money here.

Great service in a prime location. We’re able to drop off our essentials that we needed in the middle of our 2 week trip and continue with our vacation while we waited. Three hours for 2 kilos, 100 Kona. In the heart of Dubrovnik, can’t beat that. Thank y’all!

What fantastic service from the two ladies we encountered here today. Drop the washing off and 2 hours later, washing done and folded ready to be picked up. Saves the hassle of doing it yourself. Highly recommended these washing Queens.

Yes, they are a little more expensive than a standard laundry. But if you're in town for vacation, are you really going to sit around doing that for yourself? No. For 100 kuna they took good care of our necessities for a week. Thanks!

Perfect service. The cost is 50 kuna per kg and it is a little expensive, but you don't need to waste your time waiting for your laundry. They also dry your shirts as well as cleaning those. I'm really pleased with their service.

These guys did excellent work for us! Everything so clean and organized and finished efficiently. And they were even so kind as to come let us retrieve our clothes after hours when we were late returning! Can’t recommend enough!

They wanted 50 kuna a kilo, almost $60 usd, to do a load of washing. If you walk another 3 minutes up the steps you can do a whole load yourself in an hour for 50 kuna.

Beware.......all shorts and shirts laundered byLavaman were ruined with spots that were not there when we delivered the laundry for washing.

Says they are open on Sundays but upon arrival there's a note on the door saying Mon-Sat. Not sure when this happened but be aware.
