Between Jon and Dalton, I have never felt so comfortable at physio. I felt broken and unfixable by every physiotherapist I had encountered before. Always being told there was nothing else I could do and to basically live forever in the pain I was in. I was defeated and lost, ready to give up and accept my fate. I was at my wits end and decided to give physio one last shot. I walked in with the my pain around a 9. I had been spasming for days now and just wanted relief. Jon came by and assessed me, made a few comments about how out of wack things were. I thought oh this is it, Another physiotherapist that doesn't want the challenge. He then asked what triggers the pain. At this point I was certain once I explained that any and everything can set it off and I had no actual idea, he would write me off like all the others. But no! He exclaimed that he loved a good mystery! Right there I knew I could get help. I left that day feeling better then I had in weeks and I was excited to start feeling better. They gave me hope again that I wasn't going to feel like this forever. They gave me a renewed sense of appreciation for Physiotherapy. They gave me a chance for a proper life. I can't thank them enough!! If you need to go to physio, choose these guys. The team is great, personable, and entertaining. It's like a little family when you walk in.

Hi there I just wanted to say to Megan and the owner and staff the megan is a gifted God of healing she is so amazing that she can cure the dead that right she can cure the dead she is amazing at what she does at healing people with lots of pain and she can comfort you to being back to 100% I recommend anyone who is suffering from pain or trauma accidents to go see her she is truly amazing and wonderful. I have been to MANY physiotherapy offices in my days, and Leading Edge Windermere is by far the best. My husband and I both required therapy after a car accident. Mia treated my husband very successfully and Meaghan was my practitioner. I saw Meaghan twice a week for about 7 months and I was extremely impressed with her knowledge and capabilities. The only reason I am no longer a patient is because I moved to Grande Prairie. The office is unique in that all of the therapists work together, creating a wonderful atmosphere of lightheartedness and team work. When Meaghan was away, I saw another therapist and received the same excellence in care. The most unique thing about this office is that all of the therapists are trained in many facets of the job. Normally, I would see the physiotherapist, and have to make a second appointment for needling, the Graston technique, etc. At Leading Edge, everyone does everything. You choose in that moment how you feel and, with your therapist, decide which techniques would be the most helpful that day. I highly recommend Leading Edge Therapy to people of every age and stage of health. Cheers to the gang at the Windermere branch!

I came here with some neck issues that was caused by an overzealous physiotherapist who manipulated my entire spine out of alignment when I sought help for back issues during pregnancy. This was done without my knowledge, so they wouldn't have been able to fix the neck issues anyway except a chiropractor, but Jon did injure my shoulder nerves with the needles and the spinal decompression did worsen my situation much more, making my neck hypermobile and constantly going into spasm. I would recommend Justin as he seems very meticulous and careful and spends time trying to understand the issue before working on you. If you are impatient like me, it could be frustrating. Jon seems very active and busy and almost always wants to jump into action right away, which could be problematic as it was in my case but may be helpful for some. He did fix my calf when it tightened up. I have been injured and traumatized by my experience with physiotherapy from different therapists and wish to close that chapter of my life. All the best to those seeking help from physiotherapy.

I did a lot of research about the condition "plantar fasciitis" and the myriad of clinics that touted success in the treatment of these painful symptoms. It had gone so long, that the problem had become chronic, and the most successful outcomes for chronic conditions is with radial shockwave modality treatment. This windermere location is one of the few physiotherapy clinics offering the radial shockwave treatment. Needless to say, it was very effective. My pain went from a baseline 8-10/10 during work, to a 3/10 at its worst aggrevation. Jon and Maddie were the team I worked with and they showed efficiency, and good clinical skills. Hilighted by a good balance of therapeutic exercise, education and physiotherapy modalities to manage the pain. I am happy to have this problem behind me, and would recommend Leading Edge Physiotherapy Clinic to address your aches and pains towards a better quality of life. I am truly impressed...and I am a physiotherapist as well. Thanks team!

Was recommended by a friend to visit leading edge and I was not disappointed. The staff is amazing from the front desk to the physiotherapist and everyone in between. They are kind and accommodating and take the time to really listen to you. I saw Jon ( and Maddie) for an injury related to a car accident I was worried upon going in that they would rush through the appointments and brush off my pain as I have experienced a lot of professionals do this. Jon took the time to fully understand how I was feeling and help me improve. They not only helped me feel better physically but were patient and kind with explaining the physiotherapy process of a car accident injury as well. The clinic also seemed to constantly be doing something amazing to give back to the community such as 5k charity runs etc. I highly recommend the Windermere location and am very grateful for Jon and all the staff for the environment they create!

My wife suffered from a fairly rapid onset of debilitating vertigo. Luckily, the doctor at emergency gave her a referral for Leading Edge Physiotherapy. Aside from the fabulous, friendly and professional staff, the results are incredible. She was made comfortable and well informed at every step of the way, and she has had no issues with vertigo after just three treatments. It’s been 8 months now and the relief has been lasting. This month, we finally talked my 90 year old mother in law to try the treatment for her own vertigo. She’d been suffering with this ailment for nearly a decade. She experienced the same warm and comforting treatment, with the same results. She calls the relief a miracle. There’s no reason anyone should suffer with vertigo while there is such a rapid, non invasive, effective and affordable treatment available. I would like to comment on the outstanding service and treatment from Leading Edge Physiotherapy at the Windermere location. I ran my first Marathon in August 2017. Post race issues prevented me from keeping my training up to the standard I required to run a second marathon in October. Miia was assigned as my therapist and after a few treatments along with some education, my leg issue was under control. Furthermore, she provided me a home exercise plan to compliment the treatments and training runs to ensure the run in October would be a reality. I was able to run and finish that marathon and was very happy with the results thanks to the care and attention to detail Miia had provided. The atmosphere at Leading Edge Therapy was very positive and the employees including the administration staff were genuinely concerned for your well being. Keep up the great work!

Been working on post operative pain around my right hip. Justin has been doing an excellent job and I would highly recommend him. FYI - when reading reviews about physiotherapists, take the 1 star reviews with a grain of salt. People these days expect instant results and don't understand that there are no quick fixes where the body is concerned. It takes a lot of work from the patient to make sure that the work the therapist does actually sticks. And you may actually feel worse before you feel better. Leading Edge is a good company, but keep in mind that you need a good one-on-one relationship with your individual therapist to make it work. My recommendation is for Justin at Windermere. 5 star.

This is a great place for physiotherapy! I've been going here for a couple of years for my tennis elbow & forearm muscle issues as needed. The staff are very professional. I've seen both Justin & Miia & both are amazing at what they do. They make sure that you're getting better & give you the stretches & exercises at home to help speed recovery. And if something isn't working, they look at alternative solutions to try to make you better. They also direct bill, which makes it easy for payment. Anyone who has muscle pain should go see them, even if there not an athlete. They can & do help everyone to get back to moving pain free.

Justin is amazing. Apart from being part owner, he is an incredible physiotherapist. I compete in National powerlifting competitions so I am often in for delayed onset muscle soreness and tight hips. His IMS treatments have always made a difference not only in my well-being but in my physical performance as well. I have been going to Leading Edge now for over 2 years and I am happy when I don't have to see him all the time, but every time I do go back, the staff are kind, remember my issues and ask about how specific aspects in my life have been playing out! It's a warm, positive and contagious environment!

I am not sure I have enough to say about this place. As stubborn as I am I knew I needed some work and I couldnt have picked A better environment... High energy, laughs, relaxing, and they actually want you to get better. Galen is amazing and smart and already my body is moving so much better. Thankyou Galen. I appreciate you! If I could rate this facility A 10 I would.. Good tunes too. I cant wait till Im 100% but because of Galen and the rest of the staff Im almost there. Just A minor setback for A major comeback.. Had an amazing experience here! Came in with vertigo, did a few sessions and felt better than I had BEFORE I started having vertigo! The physio who saw me was kind and patient and clearly passionate about his work. He gave me a lot of home exercises as well which I really appreciated. He was very honest, and it's not the kind of place that pressures you for more sessions once you are all better! Wouldn't hesitate to come back for any physio needs! I had such a great experience that my family doctor was curious about where I ended up going so that he could recommend them to other patients!

Jonathan tong changed my life... I had a nagging hip injury from when I was 15 and I’m now in my 30’s. I had learned to just accept the pain. I had tried physio a few times before at other places and it didn’t work. I had come to a point where I had to take Tylenol or other pain killers some days just to walk comfortably! Within a few sessions with Jon and team, the pain is completely gone and I am now dancing like Peter Pan on the roof tops!! Best appointment my wife ever made me go to ! Great place! Great people! Great choice! Highly recommend it!

After sustaining a knee injury at work in January, I went to see Jonathan and his team at Leading Edge and they took excellent care of me. Jon is a great physiotherapist and I very much appreciate his approach to the care of his clients. He was also a great support in navigating the WCB system. The office has extended hours to accommodate anyone's work schedule and are a very friendly team. I'm happy to report that my knees are feeling great, I'm back at work and training in the gym again. I would recommend Jon and the Leading Edge team to anyone!

Great atmosphere. Jon did a full assessment on my injury. Diagnosed it as torn lower back muscles which I was pleasantly surprised it wasn't a herniated disc. Began an intensive treatment from day 1 and I have had incredible results after 3 visits. He knows what works and connects with all his patients giving them quality treatment plans. Dalton who gives ultrasound is also very personable and a great staff member. Can't think of a better physiotherapist than Leading Edge. Highly recommended!

There's not enough that I can say about this place! I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. I have been going here since July. Miia has helped me through a bulged disc. She's professional, compassionate, knows her stuff, and is incredibly helpful when dealing with issues such as mine. I am well on my way to recovery thanks to Miia and Leading Edge. Ive been going to physio for years and years, this is by far the best one I have been to. I have seen Justin( Windermere location) after knee surgery, he is knowledgeable and highly skilled, this guy knows his stuff. I wouldn’t trust my horrible joints to any other physiotherapy clinic, they are state of the art. Justin even stayed late once to accommodate me and my knee pain. I can’t say enough good things about this clinic. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

What a great experience. The staff here is incredible. From the front to back everyone was fantastic. I spent 4 months here following a car accident and it got to a point I would look forward to coming to see everyone. My therapist was Miia and she was so great to work with. She is thorough and dedicated. And while you are there you will get to know everyone else who works there. They are all so personable. I would recommend to anyone.

The only place that I trust when injured! They’ve helped me though the healing process of a fractured neck and the complications of this injury. I have never had such a great experience in my life. There just wasn't a connection to the medical profession until I came to leading edge and found Miia! I left understanding my injury more and felt the healing prossess instantly. Also combined with a great smile and positive attitude I don't know how you could come out of a place like that upset. People make up bussnisses and the staff here are awesome.

I highly recommend the physio Therapist Meagan as she has been my therapist now for over 2 years and she does very extensive care where needed . She is very friendly and very knowledgable . . She has helped me with a back and right shoulder injury very well as now I can go on my days pain free. But always need adjustments every few months . And the staff is very friendly and willing to go all the way .

Meagan my PT has made a significant change in my physical health and wellbeing. I would recommend her expertise to anyone looking for a professional PT . The therapists and staff at this location are amazing. Everyone is super friendly and super accommodating. I’ve been seeing Jon (for various ailments) weekly for almost two years and will never see another therapist as long as he’s practicing. He’s very knowledgeable, very friendly and is great at what he does. If my mother lived in town, I’d send her to leading edge Windermere.

I was coming off a fractured pelvis and friends said I should check into Leading Edge Physio. So glad I did! Jon Tong helped me get back into skiing shape with some novel progressive flexibility & strength exercises and interferential current therapy (thanks Natalie!). The atmosphere was so welcoming and fun too. Can't say enough. Highly recommend you check it out!

I had a mouth injury that was delicate (and embarrassing for me) to work on but Meaghan Clarke was very knowledgeable, professional, and able to put me at ease, working through the treatment until I was fully healed. I had a full knee replacement and clearly needed help where I thought I could do it on my own. Thanks to Rob Fenrich in helping me accomplish my goal to straighten and bend my knee to where it should be. This was all accomplished in a few short months. Rob is caring in his approach and has a unique way of pushing you to get the best results.

OK, after 6 sessions over a month and a half I'm back. I can't thank Mitchell and Mia enough for the repair they have provided my knee. Was convinced I needed surgery. Turned out to be a bursa sac. Their professionalism and kindness doesn't go unnoticed. My knee is tight and stable again!

Tore a calf muscle and came in for PT. Got the cadillac treatment from Jon Tong who worked on breaking up the scar tissue and reducing inflamed muscles and tissue. There are tv's and wifi also, if you don't feel relaxed enough while getting your physical therapy!

I had lower back pain for quite awhile until I was administered IMS and other types physiotherapy by Justin at Leading Edge. I had seen a number of different professionals with a variety of results. But.... the most through results were from here.

i went for 2-3 months , once every week, and it did absolutely nothing. i still have bad knee problems and do not recommend. i followed excersises and stretched but nothing helped, until i tried a different place and it healed
