"Ordered the satay combination"
"This is my go to for Chinese for delivery"
"Easily some of the best Chinese food in Australia"
"This is a typical neighbourhood Australian-Chinese restaurant, and it is very good for that sort of restaurant"
"Confused by all of the negative reviews"
Ordered the satay combination. There was no pork as far as I could see and taste, and 3 prawns in the entire meal. Alot of onions, but a decent amount of chicken. The sauce was very gluggy and did not have much flavour. Picking up at a cost of $27 with a small boiled rice, I will be trying somewhere else next time More
This is my go to for Chinese for delivery. It's definitely great quality at an affordable price. Only the best restaurants last on darling st and it's been a staple in the Balmain/Rozelle for a very long time. I especially recommend the chow mein and they do a pretty mean satay also. A+++ More
Easily some of the best Chinese food in Australia. We eat in everything from the highest rated, fine dining Chinese restaurants, to your local takeaways, regularly. This place has food which is almost unparalleled, if you’re looking for great tasting, unfussy Chinese food.
This is a typical neighbourhood Australian-Chinese restaurant, and it is very good for that sort of restaurant. They have the usual selection of dishes plus their own specialties, which are all exactly what you would expect and are generally excellent.
Confused by all of the negative reviews. Regularly buy takeaway to pick up from here and it's really tasty and fresh. Some of our favourites include satay chicken/prawns, mongolian lamb, honey chicken, chow mein. The fried rice is also amazing …
This place has been around for many years and has always been a place the whole family looks forward too. We've had big family bookings, take aways and small sit downs and every single time the food is delious and the staff are super friendly.
Paid $56 for overcooked Dim Sum, strange smelling glutenous rice and food that was delivered cold and looked and tasted like it had already been warmed up once before. Took a few spoonfuls and left the rest....was told when complained that
Ordered takeaway from here and It was good!!! The prawn toast was crispy melt in your mouth amazing, the sweet and sour pork was crispy with plenty of sauce, chicken chao main was tasty. The special fried rice was ok but could have been
Have to say hands down the worst chinese I've ever had. Prawn toast was just greasy toast with a slight taste of prawns (no actual evidence prawns in there) and sweet and sour prawns jelly like tasteless prawns (no batter) in a sickly
Used to love eating here, the food was my favourite. Got food here tonight and found a slug in my lettuce. They couldn’t even apologise. Don’t eat here if you care about your health. Absolutely disgusting and not worth it. More
We ordered chicken chow mein .. terrible … the chicken and vegetables were boiled until they had turned to mush. Chicken looked like flat noodles. No more , can’t believe this place has repeat customers . More
Was very impressed with the quality of the food and home delivery service. Most definitely try them again with a different order and if its as good again they will become our regular Chinese delivery .
Haven't had chinese in a while so ordered our favourite Sate Chicken. Disappointed - about 70% onion 30% chicken! Should be the other way around. Small boiled rice on the expensive side - $5.
I was reluctant to order from Lee's Golden Yuen Chinese Restaurant because of other ratings, but I could smell the food cooking last night when I walked into pilates and it was appealing.
Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. The honey chicken tasted like it was cooked yesterday and reheated in the microwave. Fried rice has a strange taste and the long soup was inedible.
i ordered fried rice and it smelt abit off but still ate it . not even an hour i vomitted all the fried rice and realise i had food poisioning . thanks for ruining my christmas.
The delivery man was very annoyed at me as I got the delivery time wrong. My fault entirely. Then getting into his little white car he said F xxxx off to me and drove iff More
First time visiting; the food was exceptional and quick to come out, restaurant was clean, and couldn't fault the friendly service! We will definitely be back!! More
I rang and rang to get an order, I didn't get an answer the last time I got cold food and no sauce to go with the spring rolls now , I wasted 20 min no answer.
A succulent Chinese meal. Fried rice is always excellent and sweet and sour is indeed both sweet and sour. Not fancy, but friendly, fast and welcoming.
Some of the most simple and delicious Chinese food i've had in a while. If you are after some non fussy old school Chinese food i highly recommend it
I order from here very regularly and I love the food!! Only things they could improve on is the deep frying, although I still enjoy the taste :)
I haven't been here before but look for Gio Delaquas review. I'm going to eat here purely based on that laughs I had from that review.
The best chinese food I have ever eaten. Staff are lovely, food is great and good price and It's a nice place to have lunch.
Solid local Chinese with generous serves and good prices. House special of lemongrass chicken wings well with a try.
Becca Bites Review It’s been a minute since I’ve done a review and also since I’ve eaten here.
They’ve been a mainstay of Darling Street for years now. Great food and lovely people. I love this place More
The best Chinese in the area! Satay chicken and sweet and sour pork is just unreal! Worth every cent.
NO RESPECTFUL STAFF, WHEN TAKE AWAY THEY ASKED ME TO WAIT OUTSIDE THE RESTAURANT AND RAINING OUTSIDE
Been here multiple times! Easily some of the best Chinese in the inner-west. Great, friendly chefs
Not sure if changed hands but the food was so bland we couldn’t finish it. Not seasoning at all.
Soggy honey chicken, bland fried rice, no sauce with spring rolls. Not a great dinner!
Takeaway food tasty and hot. Communication can be a challenge.
