When all I did was ask for advice on how to change it that's it,I've since spoke to my new council in regards to a new pass even they said I don't see why my old council blocked my pass address has nothing to do with a bus pass,the piss taking part about it it was valid until the end of 2020 technically 2 years 2 months left,now thanks to a pathetic waist of space do gooder jobs worth I have lost over 2 years on my bus pass,where I am now the bus fares are mental prices and when you scrap by each week as it is its a joke,where I live now you have to bus everywhere so unless my new council can speak to my old one and find out what the hell they are playing at Leicester council the one rule for one and one rule for another (you no exactly what I mean especially in Leicester)can't put what I really think which is a damn shame"

One of the worst Councils ever. Penny pinches on basic items, but issues grants and awards to a minority which are now the majority now. Do not enforce the law where a certain section of a vocal and minority reside. Will enforce the law without compassion on other areas. It fails in fixing potholes, looking after the disabled and mentally challenged, gives and provides grants and planning permission to a certain community and for immigrants to the exclusion of there . Has a two stage non egalitarian approach, everything is left to go to pot, like the wild West controlled by people from the East. That is why being proclaimed as the most diverse city you get entire ghettos of white and Asian areas, with now Eastern European, and Somalian all the white English just felt their voice was not heard and moved out of the city.

The staff here are down right rude!! I am educated and and speak fluent english and and born and bred in the UK, and i have witnessed first hand how most of the staff talk down and shout to the homeless and helpless people, some of them are very elderly and some English comes as a second language! I had to step in this one occasion how i encountered staff bullying the customer. i could not sit there and watch how rude and foul a staff member was to a woman, I walked up the desk and told him dont speak like that to her she is human and told him to speak to his mum like that! and if he still isnt satisfied step outside i would knock seven bells out of him i was so furious! In the end the manager told him off and security escourted me off the premisis! please dont let them talk down to you!

Really poor service!! Never seen anything like it!! I would not even give it a one star. Had to call up multiple times - (30 mins each) First call - Referred me to another place and said they don’t deal with my query. (Direct Debit setup) Second call - Partially done what I asked for and then had the phone put down on me as they could not wait 2 minutes till I get my bank information. Third call - My father called and the lady tried to avoid him by making up random excuses not to setup a direct debit. Ultimately when she did, we asked her to confirm our bank details. As a result, she started explaining what a direct debit is in a very rude tone. Pathetic..

Completely useless service with an attitude and sarcasm, someone needs to provide staff with customer service training and speach training . Went because someone’s business rates were sent to our name , rates were for someone else’s property completely.after ringing no reply so went to service centre and the loud representative would not listen and was assuming her own thought , such a rubbish service with an enormous attitude. Leicester council waste so much money on pointless ideas and bill people who don’t owe anything and then don’t have face to face service and make people pay for there silly pointless project Shambles

Rude, unprofessional staff, treated early man with walking aids so badly, bless him. He told me that he got dementia!!! And needs some help with the computer. But the staff were so rude!! The lady who helped me was shouting at me like I was deaf!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are all paying tax so you are not doing any favours to us!!! If you can't do your job properly then look for another job that you can be bother to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

New website is lacking greatly. Waiting for an emergency move catagory 1 and cannot get one. Stuck in an under occupied 4 bed and being charged the earth ..... HomeCome is 49% owned by leicester city council. Never accept a HomeCome property. Closed all the male and single person homeless places down. No second night out no longer exists and homeless people that qualify are NOT being accepted.

i am trying to apply for properties from last 4 weeks but it shows no properties found every time. i am really disappointed because i cannot apply for properties on Wednesday as it shows no properties found but when i log in the next week it shows up in the previous week cycle which really makes me frustrated and angry. can you please send me an e-mail why is this happening? many thanks

Extremely difficult to give the council a five stars; but I must say that in the rarest of occasions that the staff do respond on call, they are pleasant to deal with. The same can’t be said for some of the rude civil enforcement officers (traffic wardens) they employ; some who don’t know the difference between advising somebody and offending somebody.

Tried calling. Was left waiting on the line and never got a response. same message repeated over and over! Not even, "You are third in the queue! .... You are second in the queue." Nothing! If you can not answer the phone, either follow the example of other companies/organisations and say you will call back or, even better, hire more staff!

Leicester council should be very ashamed of themselves. I rung last week on the 27th of December as i have covid and needed support on essentials ect and was toled someone was going to ring me back on the same day as someone called and never did and have left me a whole week with nothing, very disappointed and will be taking this further.

Arranged bulk collection for two sofas, website had some issues but received a confirmation email....the guys collected only one sofa, apparently only one sofa was mentioned when requested for collection. The woman on the phone was not helpful either , not very happy as im stuck with a sofa on my front garden for 8 weeks!

doesn't even deserve a 1 star rating, just renewed my blue badge and there was no way to even return it, not even an address to return it to, prepaid postage etc, the government site did not even have any resources or hints how to or where to return it. I had to call up the council and they said it is my responsibility.

Customer service centre? Absolutely rude staff, got delayed at door for an appointment due to system crash. Was spoken to rudely by the staff as i was delayed, even after telling the member of staff to go ask door staff why i was delayed. If i didn't have to sort stuff out I would avoid this place!

If phoning re. Council tax select option 6 then option 2 if you need to speak with an actual person. Otherwise you get a repeated recorded message saying do it online which you can't do if they arbitrarily decide to stop access to the website account services.The antithesis of customer service.

Pathetic new site don't show what's your position. Been waiting and bidding for over a year for a 2 bed house. Council surely needs to sort them selves out. Unhelpful, Useless and hurendous staff at the housing office. Regardless of Knowing my sons condition no one is willing to help.

Why should rent paying tenants have to pay £65 to there landlord LCC for mice infestation the house is a concil property not the tenants then pay more for a 2nd call out I'm sure if I rented privately it would be down to the landlord to sort the issues out it's diabolical

Useless. I tried to get assistance with a form, had someone there double check it for me and still had the form rejected because of something they overlooked. Only open 2 days a week and the two days they are open, it's packed full and nobody can help you.

Very rude staff. They treat all people if people are asking for some favour or money from them. I have seen the security staff pushing people out of council offices forcefully. If you cannot help someone then at least polite words can do a lot.

I went in 15 minutes before closing time on a Friday afternoon to sort out my parking permit. The staff managed to fit me in and get everything sorted with a couple of minutes to spare. Very helpful staff and easy to use payment machines.

It don't matter if you are first bidding someone can bid after and go in front of you! They need to do first bid gets the accommodation. They dont care about your situation and you will be waiting over a year to get a place so dont bother

Not even open like it says it is times have changed but not updated on here which is very annoying and to be completely shut all day Friday and over weekend is beyond a joke when people desperately need help!!!
