When I arrived, another lady in front of me was just leaving. The cashier proceeded to offer her a free doubles for being a new customer. It was now my turn and was expecting the same greeting that did not happen. I proceeded to order my food, paid a tip, and found a table that was available not too close to the front door. It was dirty. I had to ask twice for the table to be cleaned. The young lady arrived and used the brown paper towel with no cleaning solution to wipe the, spreading everything that was left behind all over the table where I was sitting. There were no other tables available that I felt comfortable sitting at, so I stayed put. My food came and I must say it was hot and fresh. My only concern is that Covid still happening, at the very least, disinfect your tables for your next customer, even if you don't treat them all the same way(valuing them spending money at your establishment). Great customer service never ends or skips a person.

I had a friend tell me about this place. Being from Milton, he said he’ll stop by anytime he’s in the area. It’s that good. Well, I checked it out for myself today and he wasn’t lying. The roti is deceivingly dense. I picked it up and was surprised at its heft even though it looked small in its packaging. Halfway through the regular sized roti and I my stomach was filling up. I had the curry goat and the meat was nice and tender. It had a bit of a chew but I didn’t mind. The flavour was there and the spice (though it was only medium level) was definitely present. I also decided to order my first taste of a doubles and after having it, it definitely won’t be the last time I order it. It had a sweetness to it with a touch of heat (I asked for mild on this one) and the cilantro gave it some freshness. It too, was much bigger than I thought and the mess was definitely worth the bite. I would have take a picture of the goat roti but forgot after I started eating.

Just got my uber eats order and devoured it. Holy **** , I'm mad at myself for only trying Lena's out now- the jerk chicken was sooo flavourful. The rice and peas... I never thought I'd be complimenting rice and peas, but it's sooo good and clearly soaked in flavour. The extra pepper sauce hit the spot! The coleslaw and its sweetness went so well with the spice of the pepper sauce and flavour of the jerk. Oh and the doubles... hot damn, so so good!! Love the herbs/spices and chutney in there. Just feeling real grateful right now. Been on the hunt for good Jerk and west Indian food and this. Is. It. THANK YOU...Thank. You!

Boneless Jerk Chicken

Needed to get my doubles fix today after being out of Toronto for a few weeks! Lena’s is the only place I can go to for doubles that I enjoy. I have had them from all over the city and besides Trinidad and Tobago, this place comes second for the best doubles you will have! I have been eating at this restaurant for years and the high quality stays the same. Great family owned business with very beautiful staff that work at the front counter. Always very helpful and ready to answer any questions for first timers who are not accustomed to the great West Indian cuisine yet. Easy five star review! Keep up the great work and lovely food.

Just came out of a medical procedure, wanted a low effort comfort meal. Beware of bones in the "boneless" goat roti. Dhalpuri was undercooked and elastic around the perimeter. And double check that they actually give you pepper sauce on the side when you ask for it before paying, because they did not bother. Food tastes good, would be better with pepper sauce. Staff are pleasant to interact with.

We got the white chicken in Roti dinners with some doubles as appetizers. Everything was top-notch! One my colleagues says the chicken was succulent. The other colleague said it was juicy. I like it because it was served nice and hot, temperature, wise, not spice wise. Service service was quick and the music was bumping. I would come back here 100%.

Curry Chicken Roti

I went to this Lena's because I was in the area. I was greatly disappointed. I ordered two doubles and jerk chicken with rice and peas. The doubles were sweet. I threw the second doubles out and was very happy to. I have had Lena's on eddystone and the doubles are not sweet. The jerk chicken rice was very wet and soaked through the container. Almost like the flavour was soya sauce only.

4.3 / 5 - flavourful and fun. I would go back for sure. We got the dark meat and jerk chicken roti’s. Spicy and perfect. Good portion size. Service was pleasant and efficient. They call your food out when it’s ready. I enjoyed this. Only reason I gave 4.3 years to get 4.5 - both of us had some large corner bites of just the for tortilla with nothing. The jerk IMO was better than the dark meat. They also sell some mini groceries and desserts.

The best place for Doubles. The quality and standard continues to be high. Service at its best. We had the medium spicy Doubles; the stuffing and spice was just right. Probably the best doubles I’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious and filling. The goat wasn’t the star of the show but it was still enjoyable. The staff was very friendly and patient while looking at the menu. On Sundays, there’s a promotion where you get one double free when you buy four. Not too bad.

Love the veggie doubles. It's satisfying, flavour-packed, and filling. I normally get it medium or hot and find that the spice is real. There is a slight sweetness to them as well, which complements the spice nicely. At $2.XX, it is definitely a bargain. The place gets busy at lunch, so plan ahead.

Visited for the first time today for lunch. Menu was very affordable and they have daily specials. Ordered their Friday 6 wing special & an x-hot doubles. Opted for the curry wings of course. Spice level was on point, great flavours and textures. Wings were saucy and awesome. Overall great place with good service. Total was only like $8 (beer from LCBO). I will be back.

The fact that this only has a 4.5 is sad. It should be closer to 5. This place is so good, if you havent been yet, stop reading this review, and go and get some. Personal favourite is the curry chicken roti with dark meat and medium pepper. I LOVE spicy food, but their stuff is SPICY. Go a level below what you normally have at other places.

My son has always loved Roti, but Lena’s Roti is seriously elevated to flavours we could have never imagined. The amount of chicken in the Roti was beyond generous and the Doubles were absolutely amazing. We will definitely be back for more (my Son has asked me to pick this up weekly :)).
