Need some food to cure a hangover? Working on a new one? Whatever you're needing, Leny's has you covered! There are lots of TVs and they are always playing sports (especially Mariners, Seahawks, Kraken, Huskies, Cougs.) The vibe is super chill and the nice mixed crowd/staff are all down to earth here. The food is great and they serve late. The alcohol selection is extensive with your standard domestics but also some craft options and obviously liquor. Leny's is an old school treasure - may it never change!!!

Leny's would be the picture of the definition of a dive bar in the dictionary if there was one. When you walk in, you get hit with a wave of feeling that everyone inside knows each other, with scattered tables everywhere, surrounding some pool tables and game machines. The bartenders are normal, some are nice and some just want you to get your drink and move on. They have really good prices on a lot of their beers and other drinks too. This is definitely a place to go to with a group of friends to hang out and can get packed very quickly from a lot of UW grad students at certain points in the year.

A down to earth, no frills establishment, Leny's caters to those wanting the tried and true basics of bar/pub food. The unpretentious interior sometimes dips towards eyebrow raising, but the staff are warm, friendly, and helpful. The food is delicious, if not complex, but that is perfectly in line with the atmosphere and far from disappointing. The hours of operation are a blessing those with full days who have to eat late. Worth checking out!

Always appreciated and still do love Lenys. Never tried to be anything other than neighborhood bar and evolve naturally to a dive bar. Transition to covid has been great. Took a wanky sloped parking lot and turned it to great spot. Hope they keep this over parking when we go back to whatever is normal. Thanks for the to go drinks and great bar food. 5 star based on my dive bar measurements. Affordable beer and microbrews. Onion rings, nachos and bagged snacks available Mixed drinks and bar area Outdoor space and mellow hours Juke box and tv

I like the atmosphere here. Went 3-5 on a Sunday to play pool and get a few drinks. Crowd was a good mix but mostly 30+ and the music matched. Pool table was good, takes quarters (I think?) but was free today, at least that’s what a guy seated near it said. Drinks were standard, no fun cocktails. Tater tots were definitely too salty. I’ll be going back for the pool. Somebody did take our table (left balls and cues on it) while we were out on a smoke break though.

Leny’s is a little hidden gem. The unicorn of Green lake. Love the ambiance, the staff is nice and they have a water cooler where you can serve yourself. Great for watching a game, playing pool, catching up outside on the patio, birthday celebrations or having a kickball tournament after party. They were so great hosting so many teams!!! Chill vibes and old school feel. Highly recommended.

Best dive this side of Greenlake. Friendly folks, plenty of salty drunks. Download the app to play whatever music you want over the speakers. If you're looking for someplace near the lake that doesn't make you feel like you're surrounded by yuppies without going to wallingford or ballard to find it, this is the spot. And despite being the only option, it would be in the top 10 even if there were 100 others.

Great bar. Really friendly staff, super dated retrograde grimy cluttered interior full of life, and a variety of clientele from all walks of life getting their buzz on. As others have said, surprisingly good food. Tvs with good sports options but not strictly a sports scene, except for Seahawks nfl games when it a decidedly sports crowd. Dive bar vibe, in a Seattle way. Keep it real!

Leny's is a great neighborhood bar that I affectionately call my favorite Seattle dive bar. Friendly, relaxed, clean, and not creepy. Great tap selection and cocktails. Good pub food that used to be great. Pool tables, lots of sport screens, covered outdoor seating, and plenty of indoor seating. It's a great place to hang out like Seattle's pre-tech boom didn't happen.

Quintessential Bar and Grill in the Heart of Tangletown. Flip Flop and Crocs kind of place. Don't expect to sip a fancy cocktail while enjoying hors d'overs. This is draft beer at a perfect temperature. Unpretentious food and super friendly service with a few well placed TVs showing local sports. Great place.

Been there twice now and both times were the highlights of my week. Ordered an AMF the first time and got a Klondike drink the second time without judgement. Friendly staff and great food. Especially when you're plastered and trying to pee straight. Will go there again!

If you're from out of town and want an accurate snapshot of a Seattle Bar, this is the place. It's a lively destination for mostly locals tucked away in a pocket of Greenlake that most tourists don't stumble into unless they're lost. Old school joint with pool tables, darts, plenty of TVs and a tight knit crowd of Seahawk fans.

  • Stephanie Carson

Leny's is our favorite dive bar! The drinks are cheap, but there is still a great selection of draft and bottled beer and of course liquor. The food is also very reasonably priced and delicious. You can see them making it by hand in the kitchen so you know it's fresh! Leny's is s great place to hang out or catch a game.

This place can get pretty busy but it’s one of my favorite local dive bars in Seattle. Great food, great service and very homey. Good spot to watch Seattle sports or enjoy the outdoor seating on a sunny day. Highly recommend the gigantic chicken tenders!

Beautiful place. The woman seemed reserved at first but turned out to be amazing. I started with a light beer and got various refills of their Aloha Deaf. The bartender woman was extremely friendly and also, a fan of dark beers. Would definitely go back again and hangout at this welcoming place.

Best and cheapest dive bar seattle has to offer. Visiting midwesterners absolutely LOVED it, and the patio is incredible. The cheapest beer you can find in Seattle.

This is the best bar in the world. Do you like 32oz beers for $7? Erotic photo hunt? Pool? PUDDING SHOTS? If you don't like those things, you're a monster but you still might like Leny's. It's a classic dive bar with drinks and bar food that was frozen but is expertly reheated.

  • JJ McCarthy

The best dive bar in greenlake. Pretty regular staff that is there so it feel really nice and welcoming... Food is definitely the best for drunk-chiez. I still go there for lunch for a burger and a beer cause you really feel like you get your bang for your buck

  • Tyra Parks

Food is on point, and the staff is on point and friendly. It's everything you want in a neighborhood bar. The drinks were good, and the bar food was on a level that I was not expecting. So good.

Hands down, one of the best dive bars in the city. Great food, great people, and there's always someone to knock you off your soapbox... nobody wants a soapboxer. Go have a Lenys Large, forget about politics and make your day great again.

  • geremy condra

Great food (big surprise-- the fries are better than Dick's and the burgers on par with UNeeda Burger) and good atmosphere combined with low prices made this a surprise favorite in the area. If you want better beer, try Elysian down the

  • Dave Dorsett

Talk about local favorite bar feel! This place is it. Order at the bar no table service as Tyler politely informed us. The burgers were great. Would definitely go back!

Lenys is a great place to stop for some beer and pool. Their bar food is phenomenally priced and actually very tasty. When I'm here I have to get a Leny's Double with tots. They always have games on the TV as well!

  • Geoff Winslow

Lil tangletown dive bar. Food is cheap but not great. I got fish and chips and the breading was good but the fish was not, and the fries were greasy AND woefully undercooked. It was like chomping raw potato.

  • Eric Sather

Great neighborhood dive bar! First time visiting for me and everyone made me feel welcome like a regular! Service was great, beer was cold. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the Greenlake neighborhood.

  • Chris “ShoreMax” Maxwell

A throwback dive bar in the trendy Greenlake neighborhood. This place looks like the 70's never left. The food is passable but certainly not upscale pub grub. Keep your expectations low and you'll be fine.

  • Jeremy Tarpey

Local bar serving large beers and classic bar food. Service is great. Tuesday night's are free trivia run by folks from the neighborhood. It's lots of fun and low key. Great place to hang out!

One of the best dive bars I’ve ever been to. Jukebox on the wall and it is located super close to the girl I’ve been seeing. And she likes it, too. Cheap beers!

  • Jon Miles

Definitely a dive, but the food is good (and pretty cheap) and they have a good beer selection. Get the fried pickles.

Excellent dive bar and we had a great time doing trivia here, highly recommend if you’re in the neighborhood. More
