I do not write many negative reviews but this one is merited. By far the worst customer service experience I’ve ever encountered by Leon’s. Ordered a table/chairs set in January 2023 and was told it would arrive in March. March came and went and had to follow up monthly to see when it would arrive. It finally arrived in June and Leon’s did give me a a gift card for the inconvenience. This was great and it is appreciated but when a customer is given a date and it won’t arrive by that time, the customer shouldn’t have to follow up. An automated email would have saved the grief. The next part definitely made the experience worst. As I was installing the table, I noticed that there was one missing a bolt. I was able to install the table but still need to put the bolt in place to ensure it is properly secure. I immediately called Leon’s and mentioned this. I asked them to source the part and send the part via Canada post which is a simple and cost efficient for everyone. They told me to go out and find a replacement bolt at Home Depot or Lowes and send them the bill for reimbursement or to go into the store and pick up the replacement bolt. I live in Milton and it’s 40 minute drive (in traffic) so I’m not driving to Leon’s and I shouldn’t have to go out and find a replacement bolt. They mentioned there was no replacement bolt and it would have to be ordered or they’d have to open up one in stock. They advised they can send a technician out but it’s a waste of their own resources and money for a single bolt. I followed up with them three times via email over the course of June/July and finally I got a response this weekend. The final time I spoke with a manager and we agreed that I would be getting a bolt from a retailer and would compensated for my time/inconvenience. I agreed to this because I had enough and the compensation was fair. Yesterday went to get a bolt, called Leon’s ask for the size and they could not give me an answer and I waited on hold for about 15 minutes. I received a call about half hour later and they have a bolt available because they needed a part for the floor model and it would be sent to me by mail. Leon’s kept blaming the manufacturer throughout this process when really as a store front they are a representative of the manufacturer!! They share equal liability regardless! The best part was that after it was agreed for a specified compensation, they slashed it in half. Still better than nothing but it shouldn’t have been done. All this for one bolt! All that I wanted in the first place was for Leon’s to source the bolt and send it to me via Canada Post, a very simple and cost effective request. I was given the runaround for a part that’s worth less than a dollar. I work in customer service and I am empathetic towards CSR’s. I am willing to work together but this was just poorly executed! I was the one that gave a cost effective solution and they wanted to send out a technician for a bolt! Does this make any sense?? Avoid Mississauga Leon’s at all costs! Go to the one in Burlington instead! ***EDIT*** Finally received the bolt. They initially sent the wrong one via regular mail. Then finally they sent the correct one. They took it off a floor model. The manager at the very least did work with me until the end. But still not the best experience.
Our last purchase was a very bad experience here. We ordered a set of sofa and loveseat in December. They told us that it would take a max of 2 months for delivery since they are made to order. So fine we're okay it. At the end of 2 mths, there was no phone call or update as to when the delivery is. We called the Customer Service (CS) and said it will be ready is 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, we followed up again. The CS said that the parts/materials needed has not arrived yet from China and so we just need to wait a little more longer. After another 2 weeks of waiting, we followed up again. This time CS said we are free to cancel the order with no charge. This is so disgusting. We waited for 3 months and that's all they can say. After waiting for a long, long time finally it's delivered. When I came home, I saw lots of deep scratches on our front door which my wife told me from the staples of the box when they forced it to get inside. Really unbelievable and unprofessional delivery. They should have removed the box outside to get fit through the door. Also 1-side of the loveseat had a loose fabric making it look so bad. Also the height of the sofa is very high compared to the one on display. I contacted Customer service again and said we can try for a couple of weeks and if we still find not to our liking, we can contact them again by email with pictures. I did that but no response from them. I called them after a week a they said they can not anything now because it is at it is. I asked them if they can cut the legs shorter but they said there is a charge for it. We purchased extra protection insurance with it and this is all we got. Finally to settle all these inconvenience, CS told me that her Manager has approved a $100 store voucher. After couple months, I wanted to use the voucher and called them if I can use it online but unfortunately, CS said there's nothing on the note about the voucher. I contacted my sales agent and he said he will discuss and follow up with their manager. Weeks and months had passed with constant follow up, nothing happened and I just gave up. Very disappointed customer here.
I was absolutely impressed by the customer service and sales rep professionalism. I would specifically like to give 5 star to Mehak. She has a deep understanding of all products and she was very calm and showed immense patience. Here I must mention how great customer service can change the shipping experience, as due to this Covid-19 most of the items were out of stock in every store I went but Mehak explained me the whole process of how and why deliveries are taking this much of time and even after finalizing sales she managed very well with regular calls about stocks availability which changed the whole waiting experience for me. Next I would like to give 5 star to Fahad from management who was very cooperative as he explained the whole financing options and was able to get me the best of all, I am very happy about the prices and the financing offer I have got due to which I end up buying 2 power recliners, a coffee table, end table, and a dinning table set as well. Overall my experience at Leon's was superb and would definitely advise to visit once as Leon's is the store that was able to meet the deadline without any false commitments.

Her knee replacement blew apart and rising out of her normal chair is near impossible. This chair lifts her to a standing position. Just took advantage of Leon’s Black Friday special discounts on Nov.8/2023. Staff unbelievably helpful, thorough, kind, patient and ACCURATE. Special thanks to Samia at the Miss. ON store for your help and clarity! Also the delivery team was quick, early! and the delivery was seamless into and through the Port Credit Assisted Living facility. Going from totally helpless to having some dignity, independence and better mobility, in a matter of 48 hours, KUDOS to Leon’s and your entire staff. Betty Driscoll and daughters. Had a very negative experience with them. I placed a living room order with an 8-week delivery timeframe with someone called Azar , 3 months passed and it didn’t arrive yet and still expected to take another 2 months for delivery. I Went to the store, exchanged it for another set, not entirely satisfied with . There was a price difference, and we agreed on a refund via cheque with Azar and another accountant agent that day since my credit card was closed. After waiting two weeks, got an email that the refund went to the closed credit card !!!. Communicated with Shivani from customer service, and she stated after multiple back and forth phone calls that they couldn’t do anything from their end and I must handle it with my credit card bank . Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful .
My wife and I end up seeing a couch we really liked. We were assisted by Mervat, a sales associate at Leon’s and she was wonderful. She helped us throughout and gave us a really good price. She was patient with us and thoroughly explained everything including the warranty. In addition to the sofa, we also purchased two chairs. When we were scheduling delivery, the sofa and couches could not be scheduled together so Mervat and one of the customer associates Shivani worked out the issues with the delivery. They even helped us with another purchase that needed to be adjusted. My wife and I are pleased to have come here and we will definitely be shipping here again!
Leon's is a superb store. Always prompt with all information related to deals, effectiveness of the product and they make sure that the customer delight is of utmost priority . We got a recliner sofa delivered today and I want to specifically thanks the delivery person as he himself unpacked the item and fixed the sofa for us to have it ready to be used. We did not even ask for this help and he professionally unpacked and also took all the waste along with the cardboard packing along with him leaving our home totally clutter free. We will keep continuing to purchase from Leon's. A special shout out to the delivery person .. thanks team
My boyfriend and I had the absolute pleasure of working with Win in purchasing a couch for our first home. Not only was he helpful the day of, he continued to be helpful in the proceeding weeks in helping us find additional furniture required for our move in. Not only was he friendly, he was funny, honest, very kind, and not pushy which is a big thing for me. He didn’t force us into a purchase he let us look around without hovering and allowed us to make the decision on our own with his expert knowledge helping us make the final decision. I would absolutely recommend this location for your furniture needs!
With great amount of disappointment I am editing this review from 5 to 2. The sideboard got delivered without the shelves, when I complained they called back asking me to come and pick it up at their store. When I came to the store they didnt have the piece. I have been waiting the last 40mn for them to clean the floor piece shelves and pack to give me! Not even sure if its goign to fit fine in my sideboard. Original review:I found the sideboard we wanted pretty quickly here. The quality is good and the customer service too. Mervat, the associate, was very helpful.

Never buy furniture from this place, worst customer service. Terrible experience with my purchase. They give the wrong color and parts was missing inside the box, sales rep gave wrong info, misleading and false information. Manager unable to help and keep saying that i was repeating myself over and over. Yes i was becase the sales rep told me i dont need a bed box for the bed i purchase,i can put the mattress without the box. I will not recommend to use this place again.
It’s so rare these days to get good customer service, so it was such a nice change of pace to come into the store and to receive excellent service by everyone involved in the purchase. I was helped by both Mervat (sales) and Shivani (customer service). They were both detailed, kind, efficient, and humourous you can’t ask for more than that. Mervet and Masoom were really great in helping my wife and I get the furniture that suit our home. Thank you for all of your help but I won’t be coming back because on getting home I was missing a bunch of pieces and they had the audacity to tell me they have to order the missing piece and I have to wait 6 weeks and I cannot return the bed frame. Bunch of thieves, all nice until they get your money. Never again will I shop at this location.
The salesman that looked after us was very patient and helpful Azhar Amin. The delivery men were excellent very courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. Took the time to take our old furniture out which we were very thankful The only thing is that you need to wait for a long time for the Furniture to be ready for delivery, we guess it is like that everywhere these days. We are happy with our purchase and hope it will last for a long time.
I bought Renata brand of wooden 6 seater dining table with 6 chairs and in less than 10 months, one of the chairs broke. Very cheap quality, priced at $2000. I regret buying more than $4000 in furniture and will never ever buy from Leons. They bluntly said that we cannot do anything and it is not a manufacturing defect. Can you imagine. Stay away from this fraud company. Rather buy from a cheaper company atleast you know it is cheap.

We bought two couches from Mykhaylo, who was very friendly, personable, and professional during the process. The decision to buy was made easier because of his positive attitude and demeanour, which made for an easy transaction. We were comfortable purchasing from him and will do so again in the future. I purchased the Queen size bed from "LEON'S FURNITURE LTD. MISSISSAUGA 201 BRITANNIA EAST" Order No - 08142MIZCRR. The quality of this Bed is very bad. Yesterday night, the bed just broke. My pregnant wife and I fell down from this broken bed. Please see the attached picture. Suggesting not to buy such important products from Leon's. They don't care about you just need money.

I came back after a year and a half for the original invoice and Masoom tried her best to get it for me which was incredibly difficult given the time from the original purchase. Why nobody told us about what should we do , so when I called the branch a lady answered why you waited so long to call us !!! What A profesional answer!

worst store... never buy any type of extended warranty through them. all a scam. 7000 dollar sofa set that is genuine leather is peeling... they wont cover any of it. garbage store and staff. i am going to post a youtube video titled "dont buy from leons furniture" and show what they stand by as scam artists.

The worst customer service experience. I've called about 3 weeks ago about my broken recliner. The customer service employee said to email pictures and they will email back about the technician. 1 week pass no reply, 3 weeks later I called them 3 times and no one has picked up. Just very frustrating.

I came into Leons to buy a stove and Joe suggested the LG air fryer to me which is a very good price right now. I was thinking about the air fryer anyway so I'm glad it was on special. Joe is very friendly and knowledgeable so I would recommend him to anyone shopping at Leon's.

Bad customer service. No communication about order delays. And they send used and damaged items without all the accessories . And if you try to contact the customer service they say that I was not the one who took your order so I don't know. Would not recommend to anyone .
I bought a chest of drawers and one draw had an issue. They called to say they got the replacement. The want me to drop off the defective draw and pick up the good one. The nerve of Leon’s ! It’s been weeks and I still have not received the replacement. . Horrible service.
