ALERTS – LEON AND NCM E-BIKES, DO NOT ERASE THIS REVIEW OR YOU WILL BE LIABLE UNDER THE AUSTRALIAN LAW The lies start when the sellers advertise that the e-bikes come from Germany. It is not true. Around 75% of the bike is produced and assembled in China and later the final assemble is completed in an Easter European country (i.e. not easy to obtain full information of the production of the e-bikes - why?). They are cheaper than most of the e-bikes and the price tells you the quality. The bikes have some manufacturing problems and if you claim warranty, the strategy of the business is to tell you that the warranty has been waved because you have not used the bike properly. This has happened with my wife's and my e-bikes. Leon Cycle, as the representative of NCM in Australia, does not select or train dealers in Australia. The Leon hides behind the dealers saying that they do not repair manufacturing defects of the bikes because the dealer said to them not to fix the problems because all problems were customers' fault (e.g. who is responsible when a 6 months bike does not stop because the breaks do not work due to leak of the cylinders)

Ordering was straight forward. Delivery was delayed with lack of communication between transport companies used. Upon arrival the two bikes purchased both had minor cosmetic scratches & scuffs. After relaying this back to Leon Cycle they responded immediately offering a partial refund in order to cover repairs, this was good service & customer relations. A faulty brake light was then discovered & was a result of faulty assembly by the manufacturer & lack of due diligence at the time of 'testing before shipping'. Disappointing but due to technical knowledge I was able to track, discover and also fix the issue. After reporting this back to Leon Cycle they did once again respond immediately with a view of reporting back to the manufacturer for hopefully better future results. So far the service has been excellent & the ET Cycles perform well.

This is my 2nd ebike. Before I committed myself to a good ebike I rode another model. After several month's and finding that I enjoyed riding again I then searched for a much better ebike. One with 3 X 7 gear change. This would enable me to work more efficiently and also reduce stress on my knees. (I'm older). This ebike is an absolute pleasure to ride. Being able to mix up the gears and keep the assist to minimum. By day 3 I've already covered 140km. I've found that keeping assist to minimum I'm able to cover over the 70km battery range and still have used only half of the battery. I have had to adjust indexing and reset limits on rear gear selection. YouTube is good for this. I've sent that link to the bike shop so they can provide that for customers if required.

The service I received from Shane at Laverton Leoncycle was the best I have recieved in years. He always responded to all my emailled queries (that were sent at about 9pm) in full and by about 9:30am the next day. I have heard many complaints about delivery delays by other companies, blaming the COVID situation, however my bike was dispatched in less than 24hrs of my purchase and delivered within 48hrs. The final assembly of my new NCM Venice Plus was easy. The bike was the best value for money i could find, looks great, is solidly built and makes really easy work of getting around in my hilly area. Well done guys! 5/5 from me!

I ordered the NCM Moscow Plus from Leon Cycle last week. It arrived within a week and I am very happy with the bike and the service. The bike came 90% assembled. The small amount of additional assembly required was made all the easier by the tools that came with the bike. This is my first e bike and I was looking for a bike that would suit a taller rider, provide some flexibility in terms of surfaces I could ride on and deliver good range from the battery. So far I have not been disappointed. If you are looking for an e bike consider the NCM range on their website and give the staff at Leon Cycle a call.

I purchased the Das-ebike 250W , 36V kit & the Dehawk 36V - 18Ah battery . As I’m building a chopper cruiser I’ve taken my time to finish up the final cosmetics , but I’ve clocked up 130kms test riding and I can say that I’m most pleased with the mileage that the battery has given me on one charge with hardly any pedalling it’s averaging 80kms . The motor is reliable and quiet . Shane was always in contact during the purchase period to answer any questions personally . My overall experience is a positive one and very happy with Leon Cycle ebike kits .

We bought 3 NCM Milano bikes in Hervey Bay. One bike has only $150km on it, with a completely rusty engine. The Hervey Bay bike shop didn't want to help and another bike shop suggested to contact you, maybe you will help after we bought 3 bikes. But the only thing you said "no more warranty". Have a look at the picture, this engine was already rusty when we bought it! There is no way that it can look like this after 150km and we always have the bikes undercover. We will never buy a NCM bike again and we will tell everyone not to buy one.

I placed a wrong order and emailed immediately as there is no option to cancel the order straight after it paying. At first, prompt response to say it had already shipped but could return for refund. After that, cannot contact them. I have replied email twice, and tried to call the shop on 3 separate days and times, and left messages with my number. No email or call back has been received. Now very unimpressed. Was planning to repurchase through them for the correct item, but now I don't trust them due to this lack of return contact.

Yeh five stars because I'm impressed! I had an accident on my eBike and bent my brake lever. I was going to repair it as best as I could but, just out of curiosity, I went into Leon's webpage and there it was! And for a reasonable price! I had a question about the part, asked it, and got an answer within three hours. I ordered the part and it was shipped within a day. It arrived within a week, well packed and in good condition. Hey, where do you get that kind of service in this day and age?

Very impressed with customer service/sales team, very friendly and even gave me the reduced price even though I bought the day before going on sale. I have them a call because I was spewn I missed out on 10% off and they didn't hesitate to give me deal. Happy with the Moscow plus, for the money you probably can't get any better. The whole process of buying right through to delivery was one of the best customer experiences I've had in a while.

I am so happy with the bike I bought from these guys (Hamburg) the team are really friendly and helpful. Luckily I live close so could go along and have a look first. I had an Aldi ebike before that had to be returned. This one from Leon has a bigger battery, and much better specs. First long ride, 42kms with a couple of big hills, and only used just over 1 of the 6 power bars. You'll have trouble finding better value for money.

Received my bike from leon cycle store it was great ,,only it was a couple of days later than expected . Because they do not send to C/O post office box even though the online computer took my details and money. Another freight company ring me at a later dated asking me of another address to deliver to. All good have the bike love it ,just some of the stickers are coming off the rims already as I pulled it out of the box.

I have received an email asking to review Leon's service and products. I have no idea about the product, 16 days after ordering and paying for the bike it is still on a truck somewhere on it's way to Perth. The service is good and bad, the good part is the quick response and explanations from Leon's complaint service and the bad is the painfully slow delivery. The promised 7 to 14 days certainly didn't eventuate.

Excellent bike, excellent customer service. I bought a Venice but for a reason had to change it to Milano before any use. The customer service is so responsive and helpful. The Milano is very enjoyable to ride with a range of biking effort from very minimal to usual biking exercises. Setting the pedal assist to 6 means no-worries in every uphill road, while pedal assist 0 means we are doing an enjoyable exercise.

Bike arrived by courier as specified. A small amount of assembly was required once unpacked but otherwise all components such as gears, brakes and electrics all working perfectly. I was concerned about having 21 gears plus electrical components to manage, but can't believe how beautifully all has fallen into place. After one ride I'm excited and can't wait to try again. Everything worked as it should. Well done!

I bought my NCM Moscow from Leon Cycles and this bike was exactly what I needed for delivering with UberEats in a hilly area. This bike is really powerful when riding on hills. I loved it from the first day. Furthermore the customer service I have received from Leon Cycles, in particular Shane, has been top class from day 1. I can only recommend getting your E-bike from Leon Cycles; VALUE FOR MONEY!!!!

My Husband brought the 27.5" Prague and was very happy with it so I have now brought the 26" model. Husbands didn't have any issues, mine however was not adjusted correctly in the lowest gear which caused detailing of chain, I have had it serviced to correct issue so hopefully all good now. For the price you can't go wrong. Very happy with both purchases ,now to lose those covid kilos.lol

Hi all, we ordered 2 e bikes on line. NCM Milano & Moscow. By ordering 2 bikes we got a 10% discount. The bikes were delivered in 7 working days and we are very happy with our 1st e bikes. We only use them for mostly pathways and some dirt tracks which is fine for what we need. Battery life is excellent, and the bikes were easy to assemble out the box. So highly recommend.

Leons Cycles was great to deal with, product was sent quickly . Only problem was the product ( back rack ) didnt fit easily and came with no bolts. I had to buy my own bolts and the I had to bend the rack extensively to get it to fit with the holes in the bike frame. So a good quality product but a difficult fit. Now that its all done, it looks great and works great.

Slow, slow, slow. I receive international purchases in a week or two. Not Leon cycles though. And can’t phone them to chat about stuff. These guys hide from their customers behind technology. Not my way of doing business. I like the Moscow Plus though. However I purchased it second hand with one kilometre on the clock and it was delivered to me the next day. Lol

I bought the Venice Plus. Shipping was very quick. It only took a week to get to Fremantle. Once I put the bike together which was very straight forward and easy I got a new biking experience. I love my NCM bike. Great quality very comfortable ride. I have not found anything negative. I can't wait to get on my daily ride every day. Thanks for the great product.

The rack required some bending in a vice to fit my 29 inch Moscow and I had to buy 4 screws from Bunnings to fit the rack. The rack should be only advertised for the 27.5 bike. I should have purchased a eBay rack which would have been a lot easier to fit and for the money I paid for the NCM rack the screws should have been included. A bit disappointing really.

Initially had an issue with the delivery, found out that the courier partner messed up. Shane was very helpful in sorting it out and also provided a refund immediately. I then chose to buy the Milano model for my wife. She is very happy with the bike. I did ride it once and it is so nice to ride an ebike. Definitely worth trying. It was very easy to assemble.

Put deposits on two bikes , then sold one on me when ready for pick up. i said i'll pick it up on Saturday, they said ok, shop was closed when i got there. They will not answer the phone and do not return emails so good luck getting any responce if anything goes wrong with the bike. Probably the worst business i have ever delt with. Look els were.

I bought the NCM Milano Plus from Leon Cycle Malaga and expected to only pick it up and leave. But I was given a great handover and Phil explained everything about the bike in detail. He even helped me alter my helmet to fit perfectly. Very friendly and efficient service! Love the bike - its even better than I thought it would be!

Received my bike super quick via delivery, had it for 4 days, given it plenty of rides because of how good it is. Came pre-made with only one small issue, which I was instantly assisted with. I would like to say all is perfect, I have one small problem, the right hand pedal was defective and, upon taking it to Leon Cycle Melbourne, the problem was made worse. Bought my ebike from Leon Cycle, instant email invoice, and excellent updates with emails. to Perth WA delivery only took one week !! The update site was rubbish, just told me leaving supplier for the whole week. BIKE was easy to put together and is EXCELLENT QUALITY

Very happy with the after sales service in particular technical support. In lockdown in Sydney and had an issue which they were extremely helpful fixing. The part I needed was sent free of charge straight away so I could get back to exercising. Highly recommended.

Bike arrived earlier than expected. Bike is good. Frame, wheels and brakes are good quality. Battery charges fast and fits in the frame well. Lasts between 80-90 kms. I don't like the handlebars but I'm looking at a replacement. I'm happy with the purchase.

Love the new NCM C5 I got, it came in the box timely with everything I expected, I was able to assemble the bike with very minimal effort. The only bit is the front brake which does not work. I have to figure out how it can be made functional.

Rear rack for NCM Moscow 2, great item, disappointing it doesn’t come with hardware to fasten it to the bike. Instead went to Bunnings to find the right fasteners. Otherwise just back from 3 days on the bike with load on the rack and all good.

Great ebike with good range from battery. Easy to assemble and has solid feel to it. Enough power to make riding uphill a breeze under most conditions around town. Shipping was fast but no tracking information was provided.

I had a really good experience with Leon Cycle. I purchased an NCM Moscow M3 on Monday 28th and received it the morning Wednesday the 30th! They were there all the way to answer my questions and help me out.

Great product, easy to install and setup, well worth the money for the throttle control in off-road situations. It takes the delay out of using pedal assist and gives you full control of your power delivery.

Ordered NBN Prague bike delivered very promptly. Seems to be a good quality bike and is fun to ride. Front brake a bit squeeky but does not effect the ride.
