This place has just opened up in our neighborhood and it's already amazing! The shop is in a renovated historical house which immediately lends charm to the business. You can sit inside at one of the lovely wooden tables, or enjoy one of the two tables outside. The two people currently operating the business are friendly and welcoming. Currently we have tried the smoothies, the waffles and fruit compote, and the coffee. It's all been delicious, especially the compote!! I am looking forward to trying more of the sandwiches and other goodies they offer! Very happy and excited for such a conveniently located Cafe with really great food and service!

Stopped in this morning to check out this little bisto and MAN I was pleasantly surprised. I got the reuben sandwich to go (I had a busy morning), plus a tub of hummus and pita for later. The reuben was remarkable. Perfect balance of flavours and a perfect crispy outside paired with soft moist fillings. Served with a side of pickled veggies. Looking forward to the hummus later. And I'm definitely going to stop by another day when I have the time to sit and enjoy dining in with a cup of coffee.

Nothing but great things to say about this place!! Service was amazing and the food and coffee even better. The owner served us a delicious handmade Ruban sandwich with a side of homemade soup as well as fruit and pickles. Portions are large, food is hardy and wholesome reminds me of home…..and the coffee is excellent too!! There is a large parking lot designated for customers in the rear. We will be back and sending friends and family here as well.

From the moment you step inside Leonardo’s Coffee & Sandwich House it the most welcoming experience. The service was warm, kind, and inviting. We started our visit with a mochaccino and a chai latte to start. It was like happiness in a cup. We then ordered the BLTM sandwich and buttermilk waffles. The food and beverages were amazing, the décor was beautiful, and the service was outstanding. Thank you for such a beautiful start to our day!

Very aesthetically pleasing cafe. Chill music playing quietly in background. 1900 old Victorian building converted to the cafe, showcasing some original features including the brick. Food is priced well for the quality and portion size. Staff was friendly and courteous. Very clean.

Great food and great service along with great atmosphere. Leonard the proprietor is a very good host and a great cook. Our party of 4 was served very efficiently and we all enjoyed our food selections. The restaurant is clean and well lit. The restaurant opened recently and it is a renovated 100 year old house that is now a converted restaurant. We enjoyed our first time visit and will return again.

I’m so glad I drove around back to find ample parking as the street parking was full and I just about missed this gem. YUMM!! Every menu item was explained in loving detail by Leonardo making my selection almost impossible but I settled on the made from scratch soup “Chicken Potato Coconut” served with baked pita chips brushed with Zaatar. Also the BLTM wrap. Which is DELICIOUS. The cafe itself is beautiful, warm and inviting. This is my new favourite cafe.

What an amazing new gem to head into. I'd definitely recommend coming here. They make new fresh soups everyday and their coffee was excellent! The prices are so reasonable which is barely something you can say no a days. The owner is so welcoming. What an awesome way to bring life into a historic building!
