Lovely little salon on arbutus, very homey feeling and welcoming. The receptionist(?) at the front is super sweet and accommodating. I didn't get the name of my nail lady but she did a great job with my nails, lots of attention to detail. My nails do not have a curve to them, so sometimes my experiences at other salons is I get little bumps and ridges along the manicure - but this was not an issue here! She didn't talk much and the session was quite silent but that's ok. I noticed that my cuticles are not as clean (skin hangnails) a few days after, could also be because of my dry skin lol. I am a bit of a germaphobe and noticed they do not use single use files here, but the mani was better than most of the ones I've received at downtown salons and I didn't get a nail infection so, rest assured. I purchased a groupon and received an amazing rate for 2 gel manis, but I will be back time and time again!

Highly recommend getting a manicure with Ngan, she is super warm and friendly and an absolute pro at what she does. Got a gel manicure by her and very happy with it. Only downside is a lot of the colour samples are not available and have an x on them. Recommend management update these so customers don’t see a colour and get excited then not be able to use it. Overall I’d definitely return.

Had one service with Ngan. Great experience and nice, long-lasting nails. The second time was not with her. The nails started chipping after two weeks!! Some of them completely off after three weeks. Never had that with anyone else. Emailed the salon but never heard anything back.

Terrible service especially from the blonde lady. If you go there make sure you don't see her. She is a terrible person who is rude and nasty. I've heard that others have complained a lot about her. I'm surprised that she hasn't been fired yet.

Reading the reviews I have to say that blonde lady was rude and didn't even bother making eye contact. But Everything else about the salon was great.

Henry is great and all the staff work at the front are very professional but the older Asian lady who does manicures is horrible.

Henry cuts my hair at this salon, and I like his style. Appointments can be book ahead of time and they are always on time.

Great experience having a shellac manicure here. Clean and wel-kept, modern space. Would go again.
