Nice, brand new park at the western end of the Shore Parkway Greenway in Sheepshead Bay. Lots of benches and lots of modern equipment to keep kids occupied. You can walk down to the water as well. Grass is kept well manicured and the area is kept very clean by the Parks Department.

We are here now and what a truly majestic wonderful park that’s brand new as of last month with fantastic playground facilities and a fresh trailhead for the Greenway. The waterfront access to the poopy Plumb beach outflow isn’t as good and needs serious cleanup though.

(April 14, 2022) Just a few minutes ago, a 6-year old child was lost in the Lew Fidler park and his father was running crazy around the park. Thankfully, the child was found by the beach. The authorities should put a fence around the park to keep our kids safe.

It is one of best park which has beach and fishing place as well. The park is well managed and do have a lot of activities to do along with benches fir which you can have a quick picnic. I had been to this park quite a few times and. every

I finally to go to the Lew Fidler Park with my granddaughter. I liked that it has tables spread out on the grassy areas. I wished it had enough swings for the kids. I did like the design of the sprinklers, that they are way up high not on

An absolutely lovely park! It's new and we'll maintained. It's in a beautiful space, with a nice view of the water, and picnic seating, space for the kids to use scooters and plenty of play equipment. I also love the sprinklers in the

It's a nice little park to rest at and isn't crowded. There are only a few benches and no shade trees. I ride the Belt Parkway (Jamaica Bay) Greenway from Howard Beach to Emmons Ave. and Brigham St. for some bicycling exercise and Lew

You can fish, you can have a good seat, and it is clean. However, I have kids and they don’t like the playground because it is too small, with no slides and no fountain, and no trees. So, when it is sunny DONT GO!

Park is nice and clean but I don't understand why they would design a playground without a slide?!?!?! My kid immediately didn't want to play here upon noticing. I don't need crazy climbing things. I need a slide

My dogs enjoy this place so do I, the place is clean and people who go there are nice it also connected to the beach, I chose not a really good picture but I don't have any other ones

The park is part of the Jamaica Bay Greenway extension may be accessible by Emmons Avenue in Sheepshead and close to the Plumb Beach. It is great for a short distance hiker.

This park is for older kids. There's very limited play options for younger kids. It's a very open park, there's no shade from trees or anything in the park

  • Michael Amorgianos

Peaceful and underappreciated. This is an an excellent park for the limited equipment that it has. More in the video . Okay, place to fish also.

  • Michele

Very nice park. Clean and spacious. However with the amount of people that come here. They should at least have 1 public bathroom.

Very nice place. U can fish, kids can play in the playground. Even has great access to the beach. Parking a little tough though

  • Sylvia Bendrat

Great park for kids. There is some little trails that lead to the beach. Picnic tables. One thing it's lacking is a bathroom.

  • Galyna Shulimova

Not bad place. Has playground, picnic area with beautiful view, parking, access to the ocean side (but can be cleaner)

  • yao he

Brand new park suitable for kids. This park link to plum Beach. Some picnic tables. One downside is there's no shade.

  • Lisa Maris-Shaab

No restrooms, but nice playground for kids, picnic tables, beach (better for walking and fishing than swimming).

  • Judy Wallace
