UPDATE (Feb 22, 2022) I became a loyal client of Liberty's 2 years ago after taking advantage of a Groupon promotion. It was a simple cleaning but I was deeply impressed by Danah, who was gentle and very attentive. I chipped a tooth a month ago and decided to have it checked at Liberty even though there was no pain. Dr. Anbar did a thorough checkup, offered suggestions but never pushy. Anyway I took her advice and met with Dr. Charolia a week later (Feb, 17, 2021). Dr. Charolia and his assistant, I believe Sadia, took the broken piece out and did a filling. The procedure was totally painless and done to my satisfaction. I was also impressed by Dr. Charolia's integrity for not selling me more expensive procedures like root canal, etc. So far so good. It's been 5 days since the procedure and I haven't felt any pain or discomfort. So I am quite confident I am "as good as new" now. BTW, if mid-town parking hassle deters you from visiting, ask Angel or any staff about the "free secret parking spot"! ______________________________________________________________ - July 2, 2019 - No one enjoys sitting on a dental chair going through dental procedures. My very first visit at Liberty Square Dental Group Yorkville on July 2, 2019, however, was a huge pleasant surprise. Even though it was just a small job (cleaning, examination and x-rays), from past experience, I had expected some discomfort or even a little pain during cleaning. Thanks to hygienist Danah with her 6-year experience and gentle touch, I felt absolutely no pain. What also helped was before she hit any sensitive spots (I have a couple), she would give me the heads up so that I would prepare – but the expected pain never came. Dr. Sharon Ambar examined my teeth and provided detailed diagnosis after cleaning. She was warm, knowledgeable, and could even give and take a few jokes (like Dr. Whatley on Seinfeld). Angel, the receptionist, was also very pleasant and efficient. So, two thumbs up, and a little “plaque” for you all... Simon

You don't feel how time passed when you're with her. The place is so beautiful perfect for your purpose in taking care of every person entering your office. The front desk Gloria was up to everyones expectation very polite, kind entertaining. What else can I rate your service, its more than I expect. I hope you will serve the public and continue the expectations of everyone. The interiors of your office is well done not only was able to maximize the space but also the eyewash station which caught my attention. Very accessible in case of emergency. Fabulous Dentists office, staff is amazing, caring and friendly. Dr Anbar is incredible, she is professional and excels at dentistry. (I should know I lived with a dentist) I am so glad to have found this dental clinic three years ago and I highly recommend it. Just as an example of the quality of service: Recently I thought I needed a filling in my front tooth, and booked any appointment. When Dr Anbar checked she happily informed me that it was a stain and she took the time to remove the stain and off I went, no charge just a big smile from the doctor happy for me that I didn't need a filling. That's rare today. Dr Anbar and her team take pride in making my teeth the best they can be and for that I am ever so grateful..And No, I am no relative or friend, posting this, just a grateful happy patient.

I went to the Yorkville location today for a new patient exam/cleaning/xrays and i had a great experience. Everyone was kind, patient, professional and i got a great deal with a Groupon. Awesome staff, great/thorough dental cleaning and they answered all my questions/explained all services very professionally and patiently. I was long overdue for a dental visit and this was a great value/deal. I'm so glad that I i went. Edit: I wanted the whitening service on another day and they said i could but when i later tried to book that, they wouldn't honor it.

Booked an appointment with Dr. Anbar and was seen by someone else without notice. Had a bad feeling the whole time so before agreeing to the extreme amount of dental work they said I needed I got a second opinion. None of the things they said I had (cavities, receding gums, overbite, etc.) existed and the other dentist just laughed. They only see you as a money grab and will use fear and guilt to make you agree to procedures you don’t need.

Had a few services done by 2 dentist...the quality from one of them was extremely dissapointing. The fillings kept falling out,were unmatched to my teeth and just overall was not happy with the services. They promised they would correct my front fillings for free since it was within a year..but charged my insurance afterwards without my permission and tried to justify it but saying I understood them. Dont trust them. Wont recommend.

I truly always feel happy after I leave the clinic. Noone looks forward to visiting their dentist, but Dr. Anbar and her staff are all so professional, friendly and caring, they make me smile after the 'ordeal' is over. Some of the staff have also been with the clinic for many years; this is always a good sign that the dentists treat their staff well and turnover is very low. :-)

Had an amazing experience coming to this dentist office. It’s super clean and everyone is so welcoming. My dental hygienist did a phenomenal job on cleaning my teeth and she made sure I take proper care in my night and morning routine. I also want to express how wonderful Dr Anbar is. She is super sweet and knows exactly what is needed to be done to have a perfect smile!

i’m pretty surprised by the good reviews this dentist has. i purchased a groupon for my boyfriend and his experience thus far has been anything but pleasant. rude and unprofessional staff, sub par services, just all around really bad. i regret purchasing the groupon for him to be honest. i personally go to mint dentistry and have had amazing service there.

What to look for in dentistry. 1) Competence 2) Kindness 3) Consideration Dr. Sharon Anbar is a well-regarded professional and honestly cares about your comfort in the chair and does not automatically go for the most expensive option. I have been a patient for 5 years and highly recommend. Don’t look any further you have found the one!

I had a great experience. Dana did the cleaning. She was very friendly, thorough, and thoughtful. She considered my issue with headaches and was very accommodating. Dentist was also very helpful in answering all of my questions. Highly recommended!

My dental hygienist was very gentle yet efficient in my cleanup. Very professional ! My only complaint is the photo taken ostensibly for their file records at the end of the session. Felt invasive and no written consent for such thing asked for.
