At just 1 week old, the new Lido grill has a modern, fresh ambience with excellent service from the waitstaff. The menu is interesting but would greatly benefit from fresh seafood/catch of the day cooked simply. The sushi could also benefit from a modern take that is fresh and with variety. I'm yet to visit a restaurant/grill in Mombasa with a fresh and interesting salad menu to complement fresh fish/seafood. The Lido cocktail bar and lounge are the real stars. Great music, cocktails and drinks; laid-back atmosphere with a great view of the Indian Ocean and lovely Kenyan skies. Definitely the coolest place to be seen - pun intended!

Lidos is outstanding. Their kitchen staff and chef James is a superstar. He goes way out of his way to satisfy his clients. Eric the Barman makes the best cocktails. The food is robust and their entertainment with saxophonist Eddie adds the cherry to the top. Well done to the lidos team of white sands: truly grateful for this experience. Keep it up and I will be back soon.

Very disappointing for a luxury hotel restaurant. Terrible, tasteless sashimi. The salmon was decent, but why would you serve salmon on the coast of the Indian Ocean? The food presentation was bad. Tuna was ice cold, which is weird. Also they were blasting party music at 5pm in what is clearly supposed to be a lounge atmosphere. First and last time at Sarova White Sands.

Loved the wine, cheese and olives. Margaret your trainee was a delight. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a great beachfront experience of good food and amazing service.

Awesome Sarova experience, I highly recommend it. Everything from the ambience (Sea breeze), sumptuous meals(5 ⭐) and the staff were very welcoming and prompt......loved it

Beautiful restaurant within whitesands sarova facing the ocean. Staff are very pleasant. A bit too windy. Food takes a while really. Ordered the platter, was okay. Their orange juice was the best thing, better than the food

Ambience fantastic (by the beach). Only issue was too windy (should put up wind breakers). Food took too long to arrive. We ordered the seafood platter (was ). Otherwise everything else was gr8. …

Directly to the Ocean...very good Food and friendly People...beware of the ravens..

Lido had such beautiful moonlit nights, sitting with new friends doing bitings and drinks. Time flew by so fast. The staff team/people were so friendly and wonderful conversation too

I had lunch while feeling a refreshing sea breeze. Crows were trying to take food and it was a bit annoying.

Shrimps, lobsters and crabs are so amazing. If you taste them with a white wine, is will be perfect. The only defect is the wine is not so good as I tasted outside …
