We needed a temporary space for our personal possessions during a short move and Life Storage was nearby. The relatively new facility located on Black Mountain Parkway was a short trip and after a brief phone call, I went over to tie up loose ends. Friendly, detail-oriented, and efficient, the staff completed the transaction and noticed on my identification that it was my birthday. After finishing the paperwork, I was given a surprise discount! Yes it’s true- I rented a storage unit ON my actual birthday. Bill, the assistant manager, provided a tour of the facility with demonstrations on security, gaining access with my personal code, cylinder lock usage, and available accessories for loading/unloading. The manager, Gabby, ensured a fantastic experience from the beginning. They deliver the best customer service in the area. Short or long term storage needs, Life Storage is a LIFE SAVER!

The RV storage space was extremely filthy, with thick, built up oil stains layered with dirt and debris from years of long-term deadbeat customers of the past. Made it hard to keep our super-nice Class A RV clean. Customer service agents on site were occasionally rude and often uninformed. Found the gate to our supposedly secure RV storage area stuck open on multiple occasions when no staff were on-site (weekends). Staff did not respond to calls to fix the broken gate. This storage facility is WAY too expensive for a filthy, unsecure site. All they wanted was our money. $350 per month for our filthy, relatively small 32 foot RV site. Other sites are more expensive. Absolutely horrible. Will never be back or recommend anyone ever.

People were nice, service level was TERRIBLE (otherwise it would have been 1 star). Let me explain. I pay a premium price for my covered storage. The gate to the complex was broken. I get it. Equipment breaks. I notified the company. 18 hours later it still wasn't fixed. I made 2 trips to try and get in, 12 hours apart (45 mins round trip each time) and still no luck. I requested someone call me when it was fixed and I didn't get a single call. Sadly it ruined my weekend plans along with 9 other family and friends. If you don't mind waiting over a day for access when a gate breaks, this place is perfect. Don't expect anyone to expedite service if your in a bind.

Carla is awesome, her store is very clean amd they always have water and snacks, but the facility itself is amazing so big and spacious plus it is always clean and they have big units, small units, wine storage, car parking and boat and RV parking with and without electricity with a stage dump place and a house to clean my off road vehicles. They even have office spaces for rent at a reasonable price which is prefect for my business which is on the go but I still need an office for clients and Carla always helps with whatever I need.

My family has used this storage facility for over 8 years now, and I have to give Carla, Jamie, and Bill a shout out for running a top-notch business! We truly feel like family when we drop off or pick up our things. We're about to begin the holiday trek of decorations, and it's nice to know we can rent a moving truck, have shredding done on site, store our boat, store our wine in their refrigerated cellar, and buy boxes, all in one place! Truly the cleanest, best-run storage in Cave Creek. Thank you again, Carla and peeps! :)

Gabby and the team were seriously ON IT from start to finish. BPetersonDesign opened up our second location in Cave Creek and spent time with the Life Storage team looking at their available offices. We never felt rushed, they researched any questions we had, they found the answers to anything they didn't know the answer to, and they were so personable and professional. Their customer service (no matter who was in the office when we walked in) was seriously above and beyond. We highly recommend Life Storage to anyone.

Val and Carla were awesome. Always friendly whenever we come in but more importantly we had an emergency, they noticed our unit was not secured properly, they notified us immediately and helped take pictures of the unit, cut our lock off and replaced it with a new one. All while we were out of town for a few weeks. Panicked, they went way above and beyond to help us out. I'll never forget it. Amazing customer service.

The lack of communication at this facility is horrible. The store manager is too scared to call a customer back. You failed to give us the RM name even though we have nobody else to contact. You don’t send emails, you have hard time calling a customer back. Our trailer is now locked in your facility with no way for us to get in to get it…….being your store manager and staff can’t seem to help at all.

BEWARE of the promises, undelivered. I was verbally promised a refund of unused months at this facility. Months have passed with no action. The cave creek location tells me that "it's in the hands of our corporate office". I get no returned calls or messages from the corp office, and no action from the cave creek location. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. A SHAM OPERATION, from my perspective

One word : Outstanding! They were so quick at responding any type of requests. Professionals of their job! Storage units are very clean and very affordable prices! Life Storage has been a welcoming experience. The employees here, have always been helpful, friendly, kind, patient, and informative. I have had to change space unit size several times and the staff at Life Storage have always accommodated me. The employees are professional and immediately help customers as they enter the office.

We have been at this site for many years with our camper.....always safe, clean, convenient and Karla has always been very kind and helpful! Great storage place! You pull your call indoors, so when it's hot, or raining, or whatever, it's very comfortable. Very clean, lots of space. Not thrilled that their rates just went up though.
