Maurice Miller is a superstar!!! I haven't experienced his outstanding caliber of customer service anywhere in years! From my first phone call with him while I was in Florida in March to inquire about space and availability to my visit to Storage Facility #432 on Broadway yesterday (where he greeted and assisted me) every interaction was professional, positive and immensely helpful! Maurice is patient, knowledgeable, service-oriented, professional, and organized. He took his time explaining the facility and the process to me. He helped me select storage lockers that were just the right size to suit my needs and made sure that they were near enough to one another that would make my move into storage run more efficiently. He was equally helpful when I arrived in Chicago and he pointed out a better size (larger) storage locker than one I'd had for a long time as it would be better suited to my needs. He was right! Then he did all of the paperwork for me without missing a beat. His positive attitude, friendly demeanor, knowledge of the facility and outstanding professionalism cannot be beat! I highly recommend them if you're planning on using a storage company. It was easy efficient and very transparent with the pricing. Also the staff has been extremely helpful in every aspect, from the call about availability to dealing with Maurice (sorry if I used the incorrect name but it starts with a "M"). But he has made the experience even better. Every time I enter the facility, I'm greet with a friendly smile, wave and conversation about if I need anything or if he could help in any way. We also had movers come and he was right there to help guide the crew on where to park the truck. He's also a jack of all trades. Maintaining the cleanliness of the facility as well. He's a valuable asset and I'll continue to use Life Storage wherever I go just because of my experience with Maurice along with all the other great aspects of the facility

Do not be fooled by the many 5-star reviews! Maurice, the owner, asks everyone upon signing up to leave a 5-star review that mentions him and his “incredible service.” Maurice and his girlfriend are the two main employees, yet they are constantly absent during scheduled open hours, and often take hours-long lunch breaks. The duo is charming and pleasant-seeming at first. But don’t be fooled by them - they are truly unprofessional and attempt to rip their customers off and take their money at every turn. They are invasive of privacy and will not help you in any case of flooding or property damage. Do not give them your business. That being said, the space is clean and climate controlled. They have covered the bare minimum, and is a much better space than public storage.

Maurice the store manager is the BEST. I was running late to pick up my keys for the first time (past the closing time on a Friday!) and he stayed late to make sure that I got them and that I was able to get my U-Haul into the facility/ had everything I needed. He’d also called me ahead of time after I’d booked the unit online to make sure I knew to pick up my keys and to make sure I didn’t have any questions. I really can’t say enough wonderful things about this Life Storage location and especially about the store manager, Maurice. Truly amazing customer service. He went above and beyond and made my move so much less stressful. Thanks again, Maurice!

Drove from across the country to store stuff for my new apartment in Chicago and was greeted by the most helpful person, Nicole after a LONG day of driving. Nicole helped me navigate the space, was very personable, and even shared some knowledge about my new city. The actual facilities are very clean, seem secure, and were perfect for what I needed. This place is super close to home and very efficient! I only needed a little closet space for my winter clothes and they actually suggested the perfect space for me (which was cheaper than the one I found online!). Maurice and his co-worker were very accommodating and helpful. The whole facility is clean and easily accessible with your credentials. Move in was a breeze, too, and I don't even have a car. Highly recommended and an asset to our awesome neighborhood!

This is a great storage facility. The rental price for the units are a little bit on the higher end side, true, but they offer better service here than a lot of places. I've been coming here a lot recently to buy moving supplies and the staff is great. My experience has mostly been with Maurice and Aaron, who are awesome. Maurice in particular really took good care of me. But everyone I've interacted with has been nice and helpful. Definitely recommended.

Nocyle made the process really easy for helping me set up a storage unit. She was kind and easy to talk to. She was approachable when I got to meet her. When she accompanied me to my storage unit she gave me safety tips to make sure my belongings are well secured. She was informative to all the concerns I had. Life Storage is clean and organize. Left my items in storage for a year here. Extremely secure and great customer service from Maurice. I cleaned out my space and forgot to call and cancel. Maurice called me once he noticed my unit was empty and told me he’d already canceled everything to make sure I wouldn’t be charged an additional month. Very clean and easy to rent a space Maurice, the manager, is warm and personable. I’ve never had staff at my storage facilities proactively engage with me to introduce themselves, let alone say anything to me at all. I like that, made me feel like he’s paying attention to who’s supposed to be here and who isn’t. Bonus, lifetime fitness is in the same building, so you can GTS(?), gym-tan-storage.

I was able to rent a 10 x 10 unit over the phone in 10 minutes. Life Storage makes it so easy to set up. The Facility at 3626 N Broadway Street was so clean and organized... you could eat off the floor. They have free dollies and things to help you move in and out. The Store manager Maurice Miller was very helpful and could not have been nicer. The entire experience was wonderful.

This storage site is great! Compared to others in the area, mainly UHaul and Public Storage... this is the place to go. Very clean and well maintained. We moved from UHaul because of rodents so we know storage life. Life Storage is a breath of fresh air. We always deal with Maurice. He's great! Always helpful and willing to go the extra mile. Life Storage is great! We recently booked with Life Storage for a unit prior to moving. We were able to reserve and move our things to the unit the same day. I made a reservation online but got an error, I went to the location and I was feeling a bit frustrated with the online reservation. Maurice helped me out, he was incredibly personable, patient and gave me all the information I needed to access my storage space. Definitely recommend this location! I'm new but this place seems great. The guys in the office are super helpful. And not only that - friendly and seem to care about the people who walk through the door there. Been a really nice start. The place is bright, clean and super safe with access codes in multiple place. And really convenient late evening hours. Highly recommend.

Very nice people, but online the price was$54.00 a month, then when I get to the location it was $101.00 pr month, then a lock & other products were added without my approval, I wasn't asked & it was suddenly $160.00! Not sure how or why it went from $54. To over $160.? You should be given the opportunity to decline certain items, etc.

Life Storage is clean and well taken care of. The manager Maurice is extremely helpful and very nice. He showed us where our unit was and made sure we knew our way around, because like all storage facilities, it can be confusing to navigate! Hope to see him again soon and feel very secure storing my important belongings there!

I was looking at other spaces that were a bit closer to my residence and cheaper, but I was sold on this specific location by the manager Maurice. He has made the entire proccess of signing up and getting my space very easy. Its a great space with good staff and in a very safe area, so you know your things are in good hands!

Maurice was a great facility manger that helped to get the right storage for me. The online storage info was misleading and didn’t tell that you need to climb a ladder for a small space. Though the staff is friendly, It does feel like they advertise the way to omit the key info for renting a space and upsell the other units.
