I've done a survey for the past few years since I live in the neighborhood. As a person wanting to support neighborhood local businesses, I used to buy liquor from these stores for the last past five years. Unlike big franchises liquor depot and Ace liquor, these stores that are located on jasper Ave, liquor house, and jasper liquor merchant are owned by the same group of people with their small private franchise like model. So their beers, and especially hard liquor prices, are hiked for the whole neighborhood. And because I have a car, I can drive to liquor stores elsewhere. For example, I purchased patron reposado for 96$, whereas I can purchase patron anejo for 95-98$ at many other private stores located just within 10-15 minutes of drive. They don't care about price compares since most stores in the area are owned by the same group.

called to ask about availability of a product, they ‘checked’ and told me they have it. used a scooter to come all the way from whyte ave just to find out the staff are incompetent and can’t read. they told me what i was looking for didnt exist, i made them google it and surprise! it does exist. why say you have it if you don’t? get better staff.

I have bought a-lot of liquor from this store from past years, Very friendly staff especially tej he always offers me help and they all got really impressive customer service skills. One of the best store for liquor. I totally love them.

This owner is so mean, he thinks I'm scaring his customers. In reality, the customer is leaving and bought liquor Which I'm drinking my slushy from circle k. Minding my own business and starting bothering me. Don't shop there

The staff was awesome. Had the best consumer experience and they have most of the varieties in their inventory. Hard Liquor is really cheap compared to other models. I hope they keep giving their best like they did with me.

Very good prices when compared to other stores. Heads up to the staff and their manager for the great customer service. Nice collection of liquor. Got some best deals when I purchased for a party.

These guys aren't sure who their real friends are and don't seem to have the stock I like anymore. Must not be worthy of it. The others seem to have abundance ^_~
