Andrew upgraded our panel from 100 to 200 amps this spring. He presented us a fair quote and walked us through the process with Hydro One. He informed us about some choices for the type of panel installation and only included what made sense for our present and future needs. He performed some prep work on the exterior of the home about a week before the installation date. On the actual installation date most of the work was on the exterior and involved some coordination with Hydro One workers as well. He brought along an experienced worker to assist with the job that day was able to get all the work done within the estimated 8 hours despite hot weather, plenty of bugs and smoky air blowing in from distance wild fires. For a professional and thorough electrical job, I would recommend no one else. Andrew is fair and friendly and will get your electrical job done right. Before and after photos are below. Note on the exterior photos the entry point into the home had to be moved to the other end of the house to conform to the current electric safety code (previously wire too close to window). Andrew will not skimp when it comes to safety.

We recently hired Andrew to do a lot of electrical work on an old house. First, he was very quick to give us a detailed and clear quote. Second, he answered all our questions and gave us the confidence that he is experienced and knowledgeable to get the job done right. Third, he installed switched light fixtures, outlets, bathroom fan, dryer outlet, GFCIs, and replaced faulty dimmers. He did excellent quality work, his prices are reasonable, and he does his best to accommodate your schedule and timelines, especially since we were coordinating with other trades. Lastly, he is pleasant to work with. We would highly recommend him for any job big or small.

Andrew has been working for us for many years on a few different projects. He is extremely personable, and organized. His job knowledge is extremely high and he has a very thorough background in his trade. I hired him as I knew the job would be done right, professionally, and to the correct specs for code. His jobs are well regarded by the inspector and pass every time that I've experienced. We just had him upgrade our panel to 200 amp and very pleased with the work. More recently he wired our garage, and installed a 240V garage heater which I'm really excited about using. I would recommend his services, and will continue to use him.

I contacted Andrew about bringing one light and power into my unfinished basement, and he was more than happy to help. During the initial house call he helped me develop a plan that kept my desires within a budget, while still achieving my goals. He handled all the permitting and materials, and was able to complete an install of 6 led lights, 4 plugs, and removal of the old improperly installed lights in about 6 hours. At all times very professional and courteous within our home. I highly recommend his services if you need some electrical done.

I found Andrew to be a very thorough and efficient electrician. I had quite a shopping list of electrical jobs which he managed to dispatch quickly without any issues. You can depend on Andrew for your electrical requirements and rest easy that the job was done exactly right. Update: This week, he came into my office and very efficiently was able to disconnect the electrical supply to my machines and troubleshoot and fix a dead circuit in under an hour. I am always amazed on how organized and speedy he is. Amazing!!

We hired Andrew at Lit Electric to do all the electrical work in our renovation. He was amazing to work with, very professional and pleasant to deal with. Not to mention punctual and efficient with his work. We had an extremely difficult renovation to complete converting a 1980s house into a sleek and minimal modern home - he did all the kitchen electrical work to connect the appliances and all our lighting which included adding pot lights and feature lighting as well as undercabinet lighting in the kitchen.

In moving our washer/dryer from downstairs to upstairs, electrical work had to follow. Andrew was very straightforward and honest of the work needing to be done. He also took the time to explain the setup that would be required. He moved our dryer receptacle from downstairs to our upstairs room along with a new dedicated washer circuit. Andrew did a wonderful job replacing our electric panel. Our panel was the original, and was quite messy. We decided to replace it, partly to clean it up but also to accommodate an AC that we'd been putting off for quite some time. Andrew needed to do a lot of work to fit the newer, bigger panel, including dealing with the brick encasing. He was professional, courteous, and his work was meticulous and fairly priced. We were very satisfied with his work, and we would highly recommend Lit Electic!

I was hoping to increase the amperage of a 15-amp circuit so we could use a few space heaters simultaneously. Ultimately, the project wasn't possible because it would involve too much rewiring and drywall repairs, but Andrew was excellent in answering all of my questions quickly and thoroughly. He obviously knows what he's talking about, and he took the time to help me understand the technical and electrical code limitations. This is all to say Lit will be my first call (or email) next time!

After a wind storm ripped the hydro lines from my house, Andrew came out to get the power back on. He was quick, easy to deal with and was willing to take the time to answer all my questions. He even lent me his generator while he was here so I could start my sump pumps while power was being restored. He communicated every step of the way, got power up and running quickly. Didn’t leave a mess and did the work for a great price. Would definitely recommend him and will use him again.

We recently moved into an older home and the basement lighting was all on individual pull chains. Andrew rewired our basement lighting circuit and installed new LED strip light fixtures. It has made such a huge difference in our basement! We were very impressed with Andrew's knowledge of his trade and his professionalism. His quote was fair and his work was exceptional. I have used a number of electricians over the years. I had a small job. I called Lit Electric. Andrew came, assessed, quoted, booked a work date, showed up on that date, did the work, billed the amount quoted, cleaned up the mess and left my house better than when he entered it. What more can i say - while this level of service ought to be "normal', it is not. Such service was super appreciated. I highly recommend him.

Had Andrew do a couple of jobs for me and they both turned out very well. Put in a transfer switch for my generator at a GREAT price Installed breaker panels in my duplex and came back to do some special grounding work needed in my older duplex. It was a small job Andrew preformed but the quality will outlast the house. He ran wire and installed a light with a light switch. The wire used was good quality and placed inside of an insulated tube and tacked in so it wouldn't be loosely ran.

Andrew wired our entire basement, and on a separate job wired an addition to the house. He was always polite, on time and responsive. His work was fantastic and came at very reasonable prices.
