Friendly for the most part. Nice staff. Good food. Fun especially on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Good drinking. Cold beer. Free dance lessons Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Lots of serious dancers on the floor on weekends. Wednesday is Karaoke with a DJ and dancing and Not country dancing.

Can’t say anything about the drinks but the line dancing on Mondays is great! The intro class is easy enough to follow for beginners like me, but it gets reaaally crowded so it can be hard to see and easy to bump into others. It was a bit of a struggle but a lot of fun! I’d go again :)

Fun and friendly country bar. Great music, great dancing! EDIT: three years later, this is one of my favorite places in the city. The vibe here is great and if you like partner dancing you have to check it out. If you want to learn they have lessons! The staff are all awesome.

I've been coming to Seattle for many years. I never knew this place existed. Glad we found it. I had a blast hanging out at the Little Red Hen. I didn't eat while there but I did have some beverages. I went for the live music and dancing. I'll be coming back for sure. More

Classic honky-tonk with good live music and cold beer. Lots of seating and a dance floor. They offer progressive (Texas) two step lessons if you are interested in learning to country dance. If you are used to the honky-tonks in TX you'll be right at home here. More

Was recommended by a person in another pub. If you're interested in Western type venue, this place is the spot Dancing , decent food, & place to catch some of BALLARD/SEATTLE night lifestyle. On Thursday nights from 7 to 9, they have

Quite possibly the most fun bar in Seattle! This place never disappoints. There is always a fun mix of people, young, old, country, city, you get a little bit of everyone and everything. Monday's there is line dancing with a lesson starting

I’ve been coming here sporadically on Sunday nights for years now and never thought to write the review this taste of Tennessee rightfully deserves. Serious musicianship happens here where people take brave risks, encouraged by the usually

Really nice place with live music, had a great time here with friends. Food is really good so if you'd like to get some fried chicken and fries with a beer, you won't be disappointed. Make sure to bring your cowboy boots and a hat

This is a bar that I didn’t know I needed in my life. Life got you down? Just go to the Little Red Hen. The people are friendly, the dancing is superb, and the fish n chips were surprisingly the best I’ve had in years. The live music alone

Drinks were fine and decently priced. I tipped well. Bartender disappeared for the majority of the last hour of posted business hours, when my friend needed a water. 20 minutes til close, bartender declines us buying pull tabs even though

This place ruined what could of been a nice experience. Lower ur amps. Staff and drinks were good but seriously it's not nearly good enough country to be blasted. Place was overpacked and ppl were either stressful (customers) or stressed

Nice little dive bar. Stick with the draft PBR, sealed beer or cocktails. The crafty taps don't seem to get much play. We went there on a Monday well before line dancing and the bartender had some rocking, esoteric 80's & early 90's jams.

Little Red Hen has excellent service with a sometimes eclectic menu, I stopped in after a massage/facial in the area and I was not disappointed with my late lunch. My side salad was massive and my homemade onion rings were plentiful. I

Worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. On the website it says they take Apple Pay. I walked in with my partner placed our order then tried to pay with Apple Pay. The bartender said they don’t take that as a form of payment. I

This could be my favorite underrated place in Seattle. I think its the only true country bar in the city. Live country music bands and dancing. Along with some typical nights of line dancing and Karaoke, the authentic swinging country

  • Kim Lavoie

It's a fun little venue/hang out. Went for line dancing Monday night. There were wall to wall people though... I didn't feel safe, so I left early. No one was wearing a mask except me. I feel they should only allow a certain amount of

Some of the best times I have ever had. Dancing to fantastic country music, great service, can't beat this place. So glad they survived through the "pandemic ". Can't wait to dance at the Little Red Hen!!!

I went for Sunday Open Mic night hosted by Billy Bodacious. I don't frequently listen to country, but was refreshing to hear the local Seattle musicians play a mix of country classics and original songs.

  • Goodnight Family

Monday night line dancing was just as fun to watch as it was to try. Loved the "lessons" before dancing began in earnest. Wonderfully casual atmosphere with many different age groups. We'll be back!

RACISM. Worst experience EVER. The ladies who are in the picture, they said "oh we don't have that one in our menu" but provided to the other group right next to us. After that when we orderd

i am from Nashville. i was looking for a place on a Saturday night in Seattle to 2-step country dance. Fun people, a lot of dancers to switch it up with. Amazing!!! In Seattle yes. More

Great karaoke host on Monday and Wednesdays. Music can be a little loud at times but most people like it that way. Be warned the bartender will cut you off after two Mai Tais.

  • Alex Palmer

Very fun night last month with dancing and good drinks. Reasonable priced and we had a blast! We will be back the next time we are in Seattle. We loved the two-Stepping! More

We are from Dallas and love to slide in our boots any chance we get. What a cute little hide away! We had a blast, everyone is welcoming just a tiny dance floor.

  • E. C.

Bartenders not friendly and seemed as if they didn’t want to make our drink…and the atmosphere for some is unwelcoming. Will not be returning! More

If you're looking for a good time, this is the place. Friendly staff, dancing lessons, and decent food. It's not fancy, but it's perfect.
