"Wonderful, enormous bookstore! Very chill to come in and read a book, listen to classical music"
"Best bookstore in São Paulo"
"This is a book lovers fantasy place"
"Livraria Cultura is the largest bookstore in the city"
This is one of their big bookstores and they have diverse books. And the organization is really simple hence finding the location of a genre shouldn't take more than a few minutes. Reading books is free and anyone can go there to read even if you dont halve money to buy a book which I think is a very noble thing to do.
Wonderful, enormous bookstore! Very chill to come in and read a book, listen to classical music. It’s very relaxing! They have more English language books than other bookstores and also, more people sitting in chairs on their phones or sleeping than other bookstores!!! (That last part is bad.) it’s an awesome place.
Best bookstore in São Paulo. The place itself is a deep dive into the knowledge world. Full of people and books of all type, ages and areas. Good for buying books, meeting point, reading on the chairs, in the ground, and even for a coffee while starting your new book! One of my favorite places in São Paulo!
This is a book lovers fantasy place. Such a chill spot . I went in here to meet my friends and was surprised at what I saw. I haven't seen a bookstore like this. I m talking about a bookstore here not library. There are beautiful libraries here. It will take some time for another bookstore to top this
Livraria Cultura is the largest bookstore in the city. Finding a bookstore this expansive in the data age is almost unheard of. There are many hard to find volumes and unique tomes. I highly recommend you stop here just to see the wat things were before 1995. This place smells like knowledge.
I have always loved this bookstore. It is an amazing place and one can spend hours here just browsing the shelves. It is worth the visit, specially after cruising down Paulista avenue. There is so much to see. There are books and guides available in different languages as well.
Multiple stories contain a large and diverse selection of books. Interesting atmosphere/architecture with a lot of curved lines, ramps, and fun hanging decorations. There's a small café and wi-fi if you need it. I would have liked more comfortable seating and more of it!
It is well designed book store. It is nice wander around. However there is very limited foreign language books offered. It would be nice if there are more foreign language book about Brazil and its culture. You can also try the coffee shop within the book store.
One of the biggest and most beautiful libraries of São Paulo. The place is amazing, perfect to spend time reading and checking new books. It is always crowded with a lot of readers, so you can make friends and get recommendations from whatever you want.
My favorite bookstore in São Paulo. It has the greatest selection and also offers a wide variety of english books. Very nice atmosphere because many people just go there to read, enjoy the nice cafe, and appreciate the interesting architecture.
I really adore this bookstore and in my opinion, it is one of the nicest in Sampa. Tucked away inside a larger shopping area, I consider it sort of a hidden gem. Walking in makes me think of the library scene in "Beauty and the Beast." The
This bookstore is a treasure. It’s perhaps the nearest equivalent to the Barnes & Noble at Union Square in New York (but most of the books are in Portuguese). Ample collection of books by Brazilian writers and works in translation from
Love Livraria Cultura, and have been buying from their original shop at Conjunto Nacional since the 1980s, when it was a one of its kind in town. And for decades Livraria Cultura has been suffering from the same problem, which
A very cozy bookstore with an enormous selection. I usually attend to this place as a hangout spot, due to its comfort whenever I hold out for an event; or meeting up with friends for a late night drink close by.
Big, beautiful bookstore! The store is within a bigger shopping mall, which is actually in a historical building. Pretty cool to look at and walk through (historical building). The floors were strikingly pretty.
It was once the best options for find new books but not anymore. I went looking for Aristotle's Organon and didn't find it anywhere in the philosophy section. It is a sad affair of things
One of the most interesting places to visit in São Paulo. There are thousands of books, a nice DVD and Blu-ray selection, and you can take your time, sit down and relax. A cool place.
Just amazingly beautiful The air, the music, the space, the everything on it was great. We can seat an read a book, buy others things to. The sellers was very kind and helpful! …
Amazing book store in São Paulo, one of the biggest book stores in Latin America. Mostly you can find a lot of books in Portuguese, but there are some books in English and French.
An amazing bookstore with a great selection, magical ambiance, plenty of helpful staff and an amazing corner for kids to play and discover the world of literature.
This is a lovely bookshop with some English books . However the English books were mostly second hand and very expensive .10 euro for an old English novel
Always a must go place when in SP. Go there, because the art of reading starts with a book in your hand and, don't hesitate to have a cup of coffee.
Awesome store, the way the spaces are distributed and connected are great! It works like an actual library but the books are kind of expensive.
A treasure of Sao Paulo that went bankrupt after founder died. It is somehow surviving in a country that does not value reading.
nice library but mostly in Portuguese only. wonderful ambience and architecture. an exceptional feeling to be in for a while.
Gorgeous and spacious bookshop, lovely details on the stairs! Only 4 stars because I couldn’t find books in English …
Beautiful library and book store. If you're in the area you should walk in just to see how big and impressive it is.
Beauty and confort all in one place. Cultura bookstore is the perfect place to stop by anytime.
A very instagramable place. Beautiful lightning, place to chill and read.
I was really happy to hear of the reopening. Hope it will last long
More than a book store, a place to go with or to find new friends
Perfect relaxing place. It beautiful, a paradise for book lovers
