**Updated Review 10/21/22** After my suboptimal experience with my move (below), Jay reached out and not only apologized but went out of his way to find new feet for my chair from a furniture store and came by to install them. I was quite impressed by this and did not expect any moving company to go this far to fix this kind of issue!! As a result I am updating my review from 1 star to 5 stars! I can tell Jay really cares about good customer service!! Initial review: Move started out OK with no major problems during the loading. However the unloading was notably rushed and many of my belongings ended up in wrong rooms because the movers did not bother to ask me where they should go -- there were 6 guys and only 1 of me, so patience on their part was needed but obviously lacking. I understand it was a long day and everyone is tired but the unloading is still important - arguably the most important part of the move. Then I notice both back feet of one of my sofa chairs are missing but I keep thinking it will show up somewhere so I don't mention it during the "final walk through." Fast forward 5 days later and the feet are still missing so I call the company. I was told someone would look into it --- I hear 1 update that they were not located yet -- then nothing. I wait. Nothing. I call back. This time I speak with a different agent who says they know nothing about this issue, the guy I spoke with earlier is out of town, and it's my fault anyways for not bringing this up during the walk through. I was under the impression when a moving company disassembles your furniture they are responsible for putting it back together. Apparently not this company. They will disassemble your furniture, rush to get everything done, lose the parts, and then tell you it's your fault. I have done 7 moves in the last 10 years and never had this happen! I would NOT recommend this company.

I used Lobo Moving twice. The first time was incredible, and we had a mover named Manny who was hands down the best mover we've ever worked with. He was so good we used Lobo again this year when moving, but this time Manny was not on the crew. First, my jewelry was stolen by one of the crew members, including my wedding ring and several hand made or heirloom pieces which can never be replaced. Second, there was one person on the crew who refused to use packing blankets and instead just shrink wrapped furniture and put it on the truck that way. Nearly every single piece of furniture he wrapped was damaged. This individual and a few others also spent a fair amount of time doing nothing while others worked hard to get us packed. The first time I used Lobo it cost about 25% of what it cost for them to ONLY LOAD A TRUCK a little over a year later because that's how much idle time there was with the crew. I spent $500 on cleaning my upholstered furniture after the move, which is still permanently stained due to poor furniture wrapping. Most of my wood and metal furniture is damaged from this move. I called the owner, Jay, the day the truck was unloaded to tell him about the damage. That was a month ago. I have not had any returned phone calls from him since then and his associate that answers the phone keeps telling me to call back. I think if you decide to use this moving company, know that it's highly dependent on who you get on your crew. If Manny is on your crew, you'll probably have a great experience. Update: After weeks of trying, I finally was able to speak with Jay. He offered me a much smaller sum of money than his NM tariff would require but in exchange he requested I remove this review, which I refused. Therefore I received nothing. It’s worth noting as well that the workers are incentivized to get customers to leave 5 star reviews. Take that as you will.

I had booked Lobo Moving as I've seen their trucks around town. The reviews were all positive. Talking with them to book the appointment was very pleasant and informative. We had questions on whether we needed 1 or 2 trucks. They had sent Manny and Jose over to my house to see what we could do. We determined that we only needed 1 truck. They showed up on the date we needed and got to work. They were very professional and handled our items with care. Both Manny and Jose did an excellent job loading our things into the truck. We were even able to bring some additional items we had not planned for. They had both carried our Washer/Dryer up the stairs and helped hook these back up in the new place. I highly recommend Lobo Moving as the experience was very pleasant, affordable, and took our time under consideration. This may have been the best moving experience that I've had in a long time. If you are going to move with Lobo Moving, I would suggest asking for Manny and Jose as they were a great team.

This Co. "Is Not" Professional from the top down! Including their Logo!? Clean Cut? Booked my move with The Owner LJ 3+ weeks in advance for my 1bdr apt. Booked a 3rd mover $50.extra. Reason Old property 2nd floor Stairs New prop 3rd floor But thankfully Elevator. Move was scheduled for 9:00am their Arrival 9:35 reason Had to stop for Gas. Who shows "2 movers" with no clue their was to be a 3rd. Said they could call their Boss but everyone who didn't have a move scheduled had already been sent home. So I called LJ. Said I very specifically asked for a 3rd & refreshed his memory of our conversation. He says again I show 2. Now I'm furious I said I booked 3 & you're the one who's responsible you took the booking! So he says See if I can find another. 3rd guy shows up 10:15. Even with that these guys didn't finish until 4:00pm. $$$for Co. That's just ridiculous. Would never hire this Co. Again! T

I bought a bedroom set on Craigslist and hired Lobo Movers to transport it to my daughter’s new home. I had first contracted with another mover who cancelled the Wednesday before the scheduled Saturday move. I was a little panicked but Jeremiah at Lobo Movers squeezed us in. The driver LJ called me before heading to the pick up location. He and Joseph carefully loaded the furniture in their truck, wrapping each piece and tying them down. At the drop off, they carefully unloaded the truck. The items were tall and heavy but they avoided scratching or damaging our furniture. They were timely, polite, skilled and professional. Their pricing was competitive. It was the best money I ever spent. I don’t know how my husband and I could have managed it ourselves. I highly recommend this company.

Extremely dissatisfied with the service I received with this company, but you get what you pay for. The company did not move all of my belongings, which I have myself in a UHAUL multiple times. The owner wanted to charge me double to have a second crew come out when it wasn't necessary nor my fault they were not prepared to move an 'apartment' fully. Movers appeared to be polite and professional, but in the end were not. Many of my objects were mildly damaged in the process and I had to rent my own UHAUL to finish the move while in a time crunch. We've moved ourselves 4 times in 5 years and thought we would splurge since we go out first house, but this was THE worst move I have ever experienced.

I did a fair amount of research on moving Companies and decided on Lobo Moving. They didn’t disappoint. Everything about the move was as good as it could get. There’s nothing I would change. The crew was professional, courteous and hard working. And the price was very reasonable. Due to an error on my part we needed additional storage space and I hired a small Lobo crew to move some belongings to an additional storage space. Again, a superb job! Andrew & Manny did the transfer quickly and showed why they’re professional movers. Moving is stressful , and you want to ensure that your belongs are handled with the utmost care. In my opinion, Lobo Moving should be your first and only choice!

Lobo Moving made our first experience of hiring a moving company incredibly stress-free. Jeremiah was very responsive from the start and addressed all of my questions and needs with no hesitation. Lobo Moving was very flexible throughout the entire process, even during the day of moving items when we requested that multiple additional items be included in the move. Lucciano and Kaden were the movers who handled the job - they were quick and efficient and very kind. They moved some very heavy items into an upstairs bedroom in our new home and we are VERY grateful for their hard work. Probably the best in town! If you’re looking for quality movers who are friendly, fast, efficient and careful with your belongings these are your guys! First time using a moving company and I was very impressed. I was a bit nervous having strangers moving my personal items but a friend recommended them and I’m glad he did. Carlos and Ethan were friendly, down to earth guys who worked well together. They were very careful and respectful of my thing, easy too talk to and all around amazing. If that doesn’t get hooked the price was way less than all the other moving companies I called. They were affordable and reasonable. I highly recommend Lobo Moving!

I’m going to preface this review and say I’ve moved over 30 times in my life and have had several mixed experiences with moving companies... However, I only have great things to say about my moving experience with Lobo Moving. They were skilled, respectful, quick and very professional. Oh, and did I mention their reasonable rates? I’d expect to pay double for a moving company with that kind of professionalism....but I didn’t have to because I found Lobo! It was a huge relief to know my stuff was in such excellent hands start to finish. Jeremiah and his guys are awesome, if you’re needing movers in the Albuquerque area, call Lobo moving!

From the beginning Lobo Moving was excellent. Great communication, and they made the reservation process very easy. Moving day went just as smoothly, with good advance confirmation, and on-time service as promised. LJ and Ishmael were the two young men that came to do the move. They moved quickly but extremely carefully. I could see that they put extra effort into making sure no walls were damaged and the pieces they moved were cared for. The items that needed to be disassembled for the move were similarly taken apart and put back together efficiently and expertly. I was very happy and will use them again for my next move.

Lobo Moving is an amazing company! Scheduling my move was really easy. I hired Lobo to unload my pod storage. My pod got delivered later than expected but they were very flexible and moved my appointment to a later time. Carlos, Adrian, and Jonathan were my movers and they are extremely professional and prompt. They moved everything in my house so fast that they even had time to assemble my Bedframe. With no instructions, they were very nice to figure it out and finish building it for me even if it was confusing at first. I recommend Lobo Moving and will use their services again in the future

Lobo Moving was great to work with and they have reasonable rates. I hired Lobo for a labor-only move to help unload a moving truck I drove from Dallas and they were very accommodating and flexible because I needed half the truck unloaded at my house and the other half unloaded at a storage facility. The two young men they sent came early on Saturday and they were fast, courteous, professional, and they finished the entire job in roughly 3 hours. I would recommend Lobo Moving hands down to anyone looking for a moving service in and around ABQ.

My landperson decided to put my house on the market on short-notice, so I had to move *a lot* of my belonging into storage. After some research, I decided to go with Lobo Moving, due to their exceptional reviews. LJ and Mohammed were able to move just about everything within a 2 hour block. Both were courteous and professional, and like I said, the work they did was exceptional. I came away incredibly impressed, and will be looking to use their service again shortly to move the rest of my furniture at the end of the month.

Update 2022: We used Lobo to load a 26ft Uhaul for an out of state move. Ethan and Joseph did and excellent job. Our stuff made the almost 500 mile journey with so damage. The guys were friendly and professional. Still highly recommend. 2021:We used Lobo moving to help unload a 20ft UHaul. Chanice and Reed showed up right when they said they would and did an amazing job. They were super friendly, professional, and quick. Very glad we went with this company and will definitely use them in the future. Highly recommend.

Lobo Moving is fantastic! They are professional and knowledgeable about moving items. LJ and Shane are great movers. They managed a couple a couple of refrigerators through a small doorway and limited room between counter and the wall. I was impressed. They took their time, didn’t rush to move items into place. And, importantly, both LJ and Shane are really pleasant and friendly. I will recommend Lobo Moving to anyone I know who needs movers, and shoot, to anyone I know. Never know when one might need a mover!

The original movers we had hired were very unprofessional and stopped responding to messages last minute. LOBO MOVERS TO THE RESCUE! Jay was awesome and worked with my budget to get the job done! He was very responsive and worked with my schedule to try and help me out. WORTH EVERY PENNY. I highly recommend them for any move you’re planning. I was super excited to hire Lobo Moving. The gentleman on the phone was easy to work with and able to get us on the schedule quickly. The day the move arrived however was a totally different story. The movers arrived late, which wasn’t a huge deal. We just needed the bulky furniture moved from the old house to the new one. Our furniture was unfortunately very scratched, our mattress wasn’t wrapped and ended up being dirty, and several pieces of furniture weren’t put back together at the final destination.

I used Lobo Moving on two occasions and they were great both times. The office was friendly and made it easy to schedule the moves. Thank you LJ and Jeremiah! Chris and Tom did a great job moving our storage unit items. They were very careful with everything they moved. Greg and Antonio moved our furniture from our apartment. Outstanding service. I was able to schedule a date and time on the web site after getting a very reasonable quote. On the morning of my appointment, Andrew and Mohhamed arrived a little bit early and got to work. They wrapped and moved several pieces of very heavy furniture without incident and helped me load it all into my storage unit. They were friendly and very professional and made the entire process simple for me. I will definitely be using this company again in the future!

We used Lobo Moving last month and they were great. It was a complicated move - left our home of 18 years to move in with a parent who needed care. The truck had to be loaded in stages for three different drop-off sites -- AND - they had to drop off and then reload a few pieces from the delivery location. Can't say enough about this place. Garret and Caden were incredibly helpful. Truly the best moving experience I have had. Garret and Caden really went above and beyond, doing some serious problem-solving to get my furniture unscathed through the narrow halls in my apartment. Massive recommendation. Kinda pricey @ $576 for a 1 bedroom apt located exactly 3.1 miles away. I'm 74 and my son-in-law and I could have shaved off 45 min to an hour off the gig. They kept our $10 mattress cover but I still tipped them well. Would use Lobo again and I think 4 1/2 stars would be an accurate rating. They worked us into a busy schedule and we're most appreciative. BTW, no bumps or bruises...thx!!

I moved here from ID and shipped my things in a POD. But there was a mixup and the wrong POD was delivered so I called and Lobo moving delayed showing up they were very accommodating. When everything was done in less than 2 hours they helped put together some shelves. Jared and Shane were very polite professional would recommend them to anyone who needs help with moving.

Andres, Manny, Chenis and Carlos were our moving crew. They arrived a few minutes early, took a quick walkthrough of the house and contents, and immediately got to work. The 2 movers (Owner & assistant) that emptied my storage lockers and loaded my moving truck did an excellent job, packed conscientiously and carefully, and made sure nothing would move about during my cross country trip. I was surprised at their $50 travel fee even though they didn't bring a truck and it was in town. So, excellent service, but pricey.

The Lobo movers were polite, professional, and very pleasant. Garrett, Ethan, and Marcel arrived on time, worked continually, took good care of our things, and were cheerful about where to place everything in the new location. They were clear about the pricing. From start to finish, my experience with Lobo Moving was a breeze. Jay was great with communicating up front and was accommodating to my schedule. We hired Lobo moving for our move. We hired two trucks & 2 teams! We had Lucciano & Dylan and Andrew & Reed. The guys worked super hard, nothing was damaged, & they had the most positive of attitudes! We couldn’t have moved without them! Carlos and Kaden came to load my place out and we're great ! They were professional and knocked out my loading in an hour! They took care to pad and place each piece in the truck. Great 3 person team. On time. Fast. Never looked at their phones. Great team leader named Carlos made sure everything made it upstairs without any scratches to the walls or furniture. Adrian and Tee were also great. A terrific experience and less money then I was quoted by a couple of other guys with a truck.

The worst move of my life (and I've moved a lot). So many items broken. So many irreplaceable pieces of art damaged. Not one moving blanket was used. Things just tossed into the truck. And no response from email or certified letter sent to claim damages. You must heavily supervise the packers or don't use.

Another excellent reason to support local business. Carlos and his team including Marcel and Alex are the guys to call. Responsive on the phone, good reminder system, called when on the way and so very careful moving all my stuff. Very respectful and hardworking. Could not ask for more and will recommend.

Shane and Alex did a great job moving us. They were kind, professional, and efficient. The other moving company we hired cancelled on us one hour after they were supposed tto arrive, but Shane and Alex were able to move us on that same day. I will definitely be using Lobo Moving for future moves.

Hired them to move a couch. Just fantastic support and help from the guys that showed up. On short notice too. Got the item picked up, brought to the house and moved it into place without issue. Fast, effective, and just downright awesome. Cannot recommend enough. Great job.

Hired Lobo for labor only unloading our truck from another state. Carlos and trainee were on time, friendly, courteous, and careful. They finished before the 2 hour minimum and offered to help rearrange the furniture. Definitely recommend and will hire again in the future.

An energetic crew of two guys helped me unload a 5x8 UHaul after three long days of driving. It took less than two hours. Great communication when making the reservation, got a confirmation email and reminder email, and calls updating me the day-of. Would use Lobo again!

Jeremiah and Aaron were incredible with our move! They were able to get everything out quickly and safely. They also were able to manage with the difficulty of driving a large truck through my narrow apartment complex! Such a fantastic team! They are my go to movers now!

We had Carlos and Noe move us from Albuquerque to Los Lunas. As with any moving company, it is important that the client be involved in the process. These guys were easy and sometimes fun to work with. The job was done below estimate and there were no mishaps.

Never in my life have I ever seen such a horrible moving job! Items were literally thrown into the storage. Plus they didn’t complete the job. When speaking to management nothing was done about it. I would never recommend this company.

Very responsive, available on short notice, and good prices. Only issue was a leak in the truck during a heavy storm, so some of the boxes were compromised. Otherwise, it was the ideal moving experience I could have hoped for.
