If you're scanning reviews, then the bottom-line is that Local Rooter & Plumbing arrived quickly - and they did a great job getting my main sewer line open quickly. After taking a shower, my son says, "Hey Dad...the water is not draining in the shower". Oh great. I immediately checked the tub on the other side of the wall, and it had several inches of water in it, too. I responded to my son to not flush a toilet. Initially, I called a rooter company I had used two years ago - and had liked. But, they were booked until Thursday. Since it was Tuesday, waiting was a non-starter. I checked for another rooter service and came across Local Rooter & Plumbing. I liked seeing all of the positive Yelp reviews, so I called them. They picked up the phone and had someone to my house within about 60-90 minutes. The first guy did not have the right equipment (possibly because on the initial call I mentioned the standing water in the tub - and them possibly thinking a smaller snake was all that was needed). The service tech on-site called another service tech (Johnny) who showed up within minutes. Within moments, Johnny knew just what to do. Instead of a tradition heavy-duty powered snake, he broke out a high-pressure water-jet set-up that made quick work of clearing-out the main sewer line. In addition, I happen to also have a clogged-up underground corrugated hose that had been set-up to take the rain water from a downspout and deliver it to the sidewalk area. It must have gotten clogged-up by all of the particles from the roof tiles - maybe some leaves. It's been clogged for 2-3 years, and it's been a watery mess next to the porch when it rains. Johnny attacked it from both ends with the water jet, and he got it completely cleared-out. Icing on the cake! Johnny was professional and personable the whole time. The cost was reasonable for what I asked them to do. I recommend Local Rooter & Plumbing - and I will likely call Johnny back in the future should my main sewer line (or underground downspout line) get clogged again.

My wife and I were looking to re-pipe our whole house. After contacting numerous contractors, we selected Local Rooter & Plumbing. When Duy visited our house, it was like a good friend was informing us on what work needed to be done. Duy provided us with a very fair estimate and the length of completion was supposed to take 3-4 days. Duy and his team are very professional and worked very fast to get the job done right. I was glad that at the end of the day, his team properly cleaned up and allowed us always one restroom to use so we can get ready for work the next day. After the job was complete, Duy inspected the work that his crew did. He even inspected the brand new 50 gallon hot water heater that they installed. Thanks again for that Duy. Duy is very easy to communicate and get a hold of. Anytime I had any questions, he was always there to answer my questions. A couple days after the job was complete, I heard a strange sound after flushing our upstairs middle restroom. I contacted Duy and he dispatched 2 of his guys to check out the problem. After flushing the toilet, they were able to easily diagnose the issue. The copper pipes wasn't the problem, it was a old plastic piece in our toilets reservoir. Hoang replaced the piece in a matter of minutes. After flushing the toilet, we no longer heard that strange sound. Thanks again Hoang for quickly identifying the issue and fixing it. Local Rooter & Plumbing will now be my go to plumber. I will be recommending them to all of my friends and family. Duy and his team are very easy to work with and know what they are doing. If you are in the market for re-piping your whole house or need a plumber, I highly vouch for Duy and his team from Local Rooter & Plumbing.

These guys are simply amazing. Johnny was the technician that helped me and I could not ask for better service or quality. I highly recommend contacting these folks for any plumbing needs – big or small. I specifically had Johnny come out to take a look at a shower diverter valve that I managed to totally destroy by “fixing” it myself. I broke the entire thing apart inside the wall. The communication leading up to the appointment was excellent. I was sent text messages confirming the date and time and Johnny was very punctual. He took a look and let me know that he would do his best to fix my mess, but if he could not fix it he would not charge me. That was way MORE than fair as far as I was concerned. I would have paid for his expertise and time even if my mess-up could not be quickly resolved. Ultimately, I did damage the valve beyond quick repair and as promised he stated he was not going to charge for his time. He gave me a quote to come back and replace the entire valve which required cutting into the wall opposite my shower. He also instructed me to go and purchase a new faucet at a local store so that I had one that I liked. One week later he came back and again the communication was excellent and Johnny was right on time. He was very efficient and his workmanship was top notch. Not only did he completely replace the diverter valve, but he also installed the tub faucet and shower head. That was not at all expected and was an excellent bonus! The price was excellent, the service and professionalism were top notch. I will be calling these guys for ALL of my future needs and referring as much as possible.

This place is awesome! Our toilets stopped working at end of business on a Saturday. We called 5 "24 hr" plumbers - including a couple of big name guys - and NO ONE could send out a plumber!!! When we finally got to LOCAL Rooter/Plumbing on the list of 4 & 5 star places, the owner simply said 'OK - I'll send Skylar out there". Well Skylar was there within the next 30 mins - and that guy is the BOMB! He really knows what he's doing. I felt very confident having him here from the moment he drove up. Listening to him talk about plumbing, and our problem specifically, was SUCH a relief! Once he arrived and heard what was going on, he knew what it likely was, and he was right! He really did a thorough job, then thoroughly explained to us what he did. Like I said - he knew what it was before he started! He's been plumbing in the area for about 10 years (I asked), and we'll call LOCAL & request Skylar if we need to in future. Price for the weekend emergency was reasonable. It could have been a LOT more...

We were looking to re-pipe the remainder of our house because our water heater suddenly gave out and started leaking. After contacting a few contractors and searching for a few reviews on Yelp, we called Local Rooter & Plumbing. Duy came by our house for the quote and committed to overseeing the job himself and of course with his team. He provided us with a fair estimate and committed to complete the work within a day. They worked fast and got the job done right. Despite a minor hiccup, Duy came right back the next day and resolved it immediately. He also checked back on us after a few weeks to make sure that everything was working fine. It was great to finally get normal water pressure through all our faucets and running hot water again within a few seconds. The working crew completed the job and cleaned up after. Duy was great, he came out at 1 AM when our toilet and tub backed up and flooded the bathroom. He recommended a restoration service, which we are also happy with, to deal with the damage and kept in contact with us and them while working with us. Our clog ended up being a lot more complicated than expected, but Duy kept us up to date and let us know everything he was doing beforehand. His prices are fair and reasonable, though any plumbing problem is going to be an expensive endeavor. On top of all of that, he is very nice and personable and kept our dog happy! We are very happy and recommend him to anyone and everyone that needs plumbing done.

I got a problem at home that sewage-alike smell came out from AC/Furnace vent. I called my regular plumber who has no idea what happened. So I searched up Yelp and found Local Rooter & Plumbing and decided to have a try. Duy picked up the call immediately and agreed to send technician the same day. Paul showed up earlier than scheduled and he was so great! He carefully checked house and diagnosed the problem. And talked to me about why it happened. I did what he told and waiting for two days and now the odor seems gone! So appreciated! I will ask Local Rooter & Plumber for all future plumbing work!

We had a problem with our toilet and the person who answered was very helpful in setting up a time. Didn’t give a crazy 8 hour window like some places do. He even asked me what time worked best for me. Nam was our plumber and he called about 20 mins before arriving. He checked the sink, the shower as well as the toilet to narrow down the problem. He explained the possible issues and gave an estimate before starting the work and luckily it did not require removal of the toilet. Overall, we felt like they were very professional and good at explaining things too. Please keep up the good work!

Best team I've ever worked with. Had very good equipment. First time I've seen HD video of entire sewer line from city demarc to all the way deep inside the house. Resolved the issue by eliminating two tree roots then gave a reasonable estimate for fixing the root cause along with a good recommendation on which one is worth spending money for and which one is not. No others I hired in 5 different occasions before could do it as well as this team did. Rates were reasonable, and everything completed within an hour. No pressure for up-selling. Highly recommended.

Called on a Saturday and was told that someone will be at our place by 5PM. Duy actually showed up before 5. Our problem turned out to be a broken sewer pipe instead of just a clog. We reached an agreement on what needed to be done. People were there the next day (a little later than expected but not too bad) to work on the repair. The job was not 100% completed until for a couple of weeks but it was due to the city not being able to send out inspectors soon enough. (Thanksgiving week probably didn't help.) Overall: good communication, easy to deal with.

I am glad I found this company a few weeks ago when the main sewage line of our house got blocked (it later turned out the main line 6 feet deep under ground was broken). They came relatively quickly and worked non-stop for a few days until the problem was solved. They also took care of the permits and the inspection with the city. Both Duey and Jaime were a pleasure to deal with. With no hesitation at all I recommend this company to my friends and family.

Tony, Trieu, and another guy came out last year. They did a great job, did not price gauge, did not try to up sell me. I had to call them again last week because something fell into the commode and flushing was not working. A new guy came out and cleared it and off he went. The main line to our house got clogged at night. Duy answered the phone at 10pm and came to us 30 min. later. He was able to fix the problem and explained all the details and gave helpful advice in case if (when) it will happen in the future. He charged the amount he quoted over the phone even though he had to use additional equipment and extra effort to unclog the line since it was clogged over the city line). He is a lifesaver. I highly recommend this business. These guys know what they are doing, very professional and responsible. I came from work and had no hot water. I contacted them after 8pm having no doubt they will call back next day so I was surprised when they called back around 9pm and offered to stop by within an hour. They came and I had hot water within half hour. Their fees are very reasonable. I am keeping their number.

We had a late-night emergency at one of our commercial plazas where a main line was gushing water into our parking lot. Local Rooter and Plumbing was able to send someone down to plug it up so our tenants could have access to water again and we scheduled the repair for first thing in the morning. Made what could have been a very stressful situation into an easily managed problem. Would use them again.

Our water heater decided to spring a leak out of the top and was flooding our garage when we noticed it at 8:45 at night. Local Rooter and Plumbing (LRP) was the second company I called and they actually answered the call and came out within 30 minutes. Duy was professional, helpful and had extremely reasonable pricing. He also took the initiative to buy kitty litter to spread around my crawl space to obsorb the moisture from the leaking pipe. Will call them again for my plumbing needs.

Awesome service! Plumbing emergency on a Sunday, came 2 hours after getting our call, diagnosed immediately and spent the afternoon fixing all the damage tree roots had done to the outside pipes. Snaked out to the road and back into the house showing the video each way. Previous companies had just done a tiny bit to unclog things for a brief period.

Just had David who works for Local Rooter clean-out a blocked landscape drain. Outstanding service. He needed to be creative to figure out how to get the rooter to the right place, but he persevered and within about 30 minutes, we had a clean drain.
