Had harvest bowl with added tofu ($6 for 2 thin slices was ridiculous) another $6 for avocado which made for a $29 bowl of salad which was so heavily dressed I couldn’t eat it. Great space, very limited menu, good luck to the owners from a local who is looking for a business to succeed More

Nice little cafe in walking distance from Bronte Beach. Nice varied menu of cafe favourites. I had a healthy sandwich with fries. Toast with cheese, avocado, vegemite, and tomatoes. The pickle was divine. You've gotta wash it down with a Mountain Goat as a finishing touch. More

Head to the Locale! It was an amazing experience. I had the buttermilk pancakes. It was delicious! The place is kids friendly whether you sit inside or out, it is spacious to bring your pram. The ambiance is lovely, the waitresses are tentative to your needs. Thank you! More

Rarely leave reviews but the service here was noticeably bad and then turned rude at one stage when my partner asked if we could sit outside. Food was good albeit overpriced. $40 for a pasta that was quite small. Unfortunately the service ruins the experience. More

This is just what Bronte has been missing. Single Origin coffee, strong vibe and craft beers. The menu definitely feels more restaurant quality than standard casual cafe fare. We had the Prawn Linguine and the Short Rib for lunch - 10/10. Will be back.

Formerly called PILGRIM a plant based restaurant...we were talking over breakfast of Poached eggs done to perfection on a bed of not your ordinary mushrooms...with leaves of some sort, a wisp of Chili oil...which enlivened the senses from

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Locale Cafe in Bronte, a charming coffee shop located conveniently near Waverley Cemetery. From the moment I walked in, I was thoroughly impressed by the warm and inviting atmosphere, and my overall

We had been here before and I couldn't remember why I thought we shouldn't go again, expensive (even for the east) and small meals, avg coffee, $6 for 2 small slices of Hallumi as an add on. No wonder there were plenty of seats available

Worst place to be. At first no one came to approach us to get a table so we picked one. Then all the tables around us were dirty for the whole time we stayed there. Literally no one came to ask about anything so we made the order through

After a few visits here including an invite to a private function we would highly recommend you trying the Family run Locale. The food is delicious, the space is beautiful with a nice ambiance and the service is quick and friendly, what

Located just minutes away from the Bronte beach. Staff was kind, place was spacious and inviting. I loved the decor and atmosphere. Menu includes special items that you don’t normally find in other counterparts. We ordered the breakfast

I have eaten at this place 4 times now and have given up. There is no concept of service here whatsoever. At 11 degrees outside I asked if I could eat at the rear of the premises (where there were tables set up, and where presumably it

Best vanilla milkshake in Sydney. Meine Tochter loves it and asks regularly to visit this friendly local cafe in Bronte. The super strong iced latte is a crowd pleaser too with 4 shots! Staff are friendly, fast and efficient More

Been here twice now and both times had the breakfast burrito and was delicious. Staff are friendly. Can be very loud inside during peak but also going a little later it’s very relax and lovely outside in the sunshine. More

Worst place in Sydney! I'm surprised they don't ask there customers to wash the dishes! If you like service stay away! The best insult was them asking for a tip as you do all the work! Tips are for good service!

We loved coming here but since it changed owners the service has been appalling. The food has also gone downhill. I'm a local resident it's such a pity. Bring back the app to order or fix your service. More

I only took 2 bites of the chicken burger on a gluten friend bun and it was below average. The ingredients we ok and the bun was one of those thick chewy gf buns and it was still cold in certain parts. More

Loved the food and service. Great spot too. I like the QR code at table ordering system, includes pictures of what you’re ordering and payment up front. Will be back to try breakfast next time.

Lovely place for a coffee and blueberry muffin, and were more than happy to let me plug in the laptop and do some work. Thanks guys. When I have meetings in Bronte, I’ll be back for sure. More

Just dropped in for a quick coffee before walking my dogs. The ordering app on the outside tables made this feasible with 2 dogs in tow. Coffee arrived quickly and delivered with a smile. More

I came across this place wandering the Eastern suburbs without a specific plan, and I just decided to have breakfast right there and then. So happy I did this, such a welcoming place.

If you like good coffee, this may be a place where you suffer. Sadly each time we come ( Sat) am...the coffee is pale and watery. Perhaps walk 20 m down the road to better coffee More

Terrible experience. The cafe was near empty when we arrived our table of 4 ordered breakfast and hot drinks Our order took over an hour to arrive ( apparently it got lost)

  • Brittany Biel

Came back twice - the food was great, the coffee left a bit to be desired. Breakfast tacos, egg Sammy, Turkish eggs, and fried chicken wrap all were 5/5. Coffee was a 2/5.

  • Emily Haigh

Lovely venue, interesting menu, however small portions very over priced. Same or better quality cafes in area with fair potions and better matched pricing.

  • Karen Simmonds

We popped in here before meeting family, it was the best wrap I've tasted we are on holiday from UK.... The food around the area is great!

  • Olivia Miller

The best bacon n egg roll I’ve ever had! And amazingly good coffee. Friendly, warm and fun staff. Could use cushions on their bench seats :) More

Ticks all the boxes - great food, coffee and service. Ambiance is lovely and they have ample seating compared to the other cafes nearby.
