I've been going to Lola's for 30 plus yrs. They are, AND HAVE ALWAYS been courteous, professional and efficient at what they do... customer service included. I WILL CONTINUE TO GET MY HAIR CUTS FROM THEM UNTIL THEY ARE NO LONGER IN BUSINESS, or I AM NO LONGER HERE. The staff and the owners, are a CLASS ACT!! I have to say that I am reluctant to believe that they are rude and unhelpful towards their clients as stated in a few prior reviews. I've seen just the opposite. If the public only knew some of the ridiculous behaviors and rude comments "supposed" customers have shown towards the staff, perhaps one would have a clearer picture of what service industry staff have to go through. REMEMBER, it's a hair salon... NOT A BUS SHELTER, AN INFORMATION BOOTH, A CHANGE MACHINE VENUE, etc.. etc. They're a beauty salon. And for those that will say.... well they knew what they were signing up for when they opened a business.... to them I say, YES they did! They expected to serve their community, they expected to work at a business/career they love, they expected to provide for their family thru business earnings, they expected to share their good fortune with those that are less fortunate, they expected to provide/offer FREE services to support City and Community Cutural events.... this is what they expected. AND THIS IS WHAT THEY DO!!! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK LOLA'S BEAUTY SALON!!!

Ppl should check out Dino's Grocery on Notre Dame. They sell wigs literally half the price, have a huge selection and arent as rude. ... Lola: if you just adjusted your attitude towards clients, I would even pay the higher price. People who are making an important, often large purchase don't want to be treated like they're an inconvenience. Especially if someone has recently lost their hair for medical reasons, picking out a wig that matches their personality and builds self esteem is essential. Ive had the pleasure of working with one of your daughters my first 4 times in your store and she was GREAT. The last 2 times I've had to deal with you and actually had to leave the last time because i didnt like any of the 4 i tried, and well, thats your limit right? Please rethink how you treat the people who choose your location for assistance.

I was there a few days ago, and they were busy, and could only get me in at 3:30pm. I told them that was too long because I'm kid free for a bit and have to get back to him and was a longish bus ride back for me! They were so kind they got me in for 1:30pm to put the exstentions I purchased from them. The lady behind the counter was kind and helped me with the ones I wanted. The lady who did my hair was kind and gentle and was quick and did a great job. I loved the work they did they even we're gonna offer me coffee or tea but I had a drink and offered to turn my chair to the tv.. Great service going to go back

Not a huge fan they've always been super rude when I went with my mom as a kid. And I went back years later and it was the same. Also to refer to another review I saw for 2 stars. If you're white and complaining that your hair is falling out I don't care if I lile the store or not that's not on Lola's. Not their fault at all. Go culturally appropriate somewhere else and look for petty there. It's not meant for your hair. That's why it fell out sweetheart. Aside from the rudeness the products are good and they do do a good job from what I have seen

I usually go to Lola's for my wigs and I have always found them helpful and professional. They do not rush me and show options as long as I give an idea of my needs. They have a great selection and were even recommended by another store that sells wigs. I like their affordable merchandise. Many years ago when I coloured my hair, I would call and they would keep the colour for me, as I lived far away. I like the service that they provide.

Went to Lola’s to inquire for some supplies for my business and both employees were rude and didn’t care to spend a minute to help me out. The store itself is overwhelming due to their lack of organization. When I found what I needed I then approached the owner and asked her if she had a general price list for the extensions they supply... She looked at me as if I was stupid and never gave me an answer? Lol. Won’t ever go there again.

I came in today to buy hair from them but before that I called the store and the lady told me that she had what I was looking for and then when I came over she was very rude to me and she spoke to me in a way that I did not like. I was very mad that she did that to me . I did not respond I just walked out. Both the owner and her daughters are very rude and disrespectful to people, and that's not nice at all

Disrespectful! I called, and before I could complete my questions she said ok bye, I said I am have more questions, she then put the phone down to assist another customer, I know that based on what I overheard, after, she took up the phone and said I have to go now, I said I have more questions, she replied I have to go now there is another call and hang up.

Went in for a trim, the nice ladies fixed my uneven hair lol. They took me in last minute and it was a friendly environment, was greeted with a smile. I walked around the store to take a look at their products- they’re well stocked and fairly priced. I’ll be returning to get some hair products.

Horrible service. Literally drove an hour and a half away to purchase extensions and the employee was rude, didn't want to help me and spent more time talking on her personal cell phone. I would never go there again or recommend it to anyone. The worst service I've probably ever been given.

It has great stuff but the staff were extra rude. There's no reason to be like that. People come to the store because they want to buy ur stuff not because they want to see ur nose in the air and to be treated badly. Remember service with a smile will save u from the ugly frown lines :)

Diane and Lola are amazing people. I went in there with pictures of what I wanted and they gave me multiple options to pick from. I asked for their opinion and they helped me choose the right hair for me. They gave me excellent service and I will always get my hair from them!

I've had a good experience here. The women work really hard and do a good job. Yes there a bit sassy but the girls do a good job. If your just in there not buying anything there gonna help who means hair business. Idk I really enjoyed the last time I was there. I'll be back

Not a bad place to find hair products for black women however they need a wider variety of hair and more hair and skin products. The lady at the front, the cashier also need to be customer friendly since customers are the driving force behind a successful business.
