For the second time in 13 months, I went to London & Belcher on behalf of the family to order flowers for, last year, my mother's funeral and, this year, my father's. For the latter, yesterday, we had asked for something that represented the North Cornish moors near where he was born, but that was difficult – Bodmin is rather bleaker, say, than a Highland moor. We had also mentioned freesias, which Mother loved (and had been a key part of the wreath last year, along with red roses to represent her home country of Lancashire). Dad himself loved cut flowers, as became very clear in the last year of his life. The picture below gives only a hint of just what Claire achieved. This was beautiful – full of colour and with hints of wildness. So many colours really shouldn’t work together, but they do here – so a tad like Matisse – and with many exquisite touches that rewarded attention. After the service, many members of the congregation admired them, even noting that it was the most beautiful display they had seen. I can only thank Claire, on behalf of the family, for providing an excellent service and a beautiful display that really added to the whole day. I would have no hesitation in recommending London & Belcher to anyone – and also to giving the team some space to be able to be creative.

The flowers were beautiful, as described and agreed and exactly right for the occasion. They received many complimentary comments from attendees. We had a four foot casket arrangement and three sets of posies in different colour schemes with personalized handwritten message cards. I have always used London and Beltcher as they are efficient, friendly and provide an excellent service. They offer advice and help to make sure you get exactly what you are looking for. They also recently did my wedding flowers. They were excellent from start to finish. I don’t know much about flowers but I showed them photos of what I liked and they made exactly what I was looking for. They were so helpful and made sure the flowers were perfect. They delivered the flowers and set up on the day. They were so much more reasonably priced than other florists I had quotes from and the whole process was stress free. Ordered some flowers at 11.30am for my partner for their last week of work and said they leave the office at around 2pm but don't worry if you can't deliver them today, tomorrow will be fine. Very polite lady took my order and when I asked if some jelly sweets could be included, she said she would get some from a local sweetshop. The flowers AND sweets were delivered by 1pm that day and they were perfect.The flowers were just beautiful and the sweets brilliant too. Perfect! ABSOLUTE PERFECTION & STUNNING ARRANGEMENT I ordered a floral arrangement for my Dad’s funeral, as he raced pigeons I wanted a tribute showing a pigeon & gave photos as racing pigeons have a very specific shape. Claire & Amy were really helpful with ideas & advice. The result of the tribute, seen only when the hearse arrived, went beyond my expectations; it was totally amazing & cannot thank Claire & Amy enough. I spoke with Claire and she explained all the different options available and I liked the honest and personal touch she offered. I had no hesitation in instructing her and felt no need to speak with another company. As I am not how shall we say, very knowledgeable on flowers, I asked Claire to do what she thought was best and she didn't disappoint. "Safe hands who I would use again!" My aunt's funeral needed a florist that could handle overseas orders with relatives of varying levels of English. I checked the websites of a dozen florists in the area and interviewed a short list - London & Belcher stood head and shoulders above the others, because they are experienced (family run for generations), organised, personable, and their website was up to the job. I was very happy with the flowers and the service we got. Would definitely use them again and recommend to friends and family.

I have been using London & Belcher for over 25 years. Whether it was for business or is for anniversaries, what Claire and her team produce is quite exemplary. My wife recently passed away and I asked Claire for a floral tribute using Sweet Peas. Absolutely incredible and a really fitting tribute to my wife. She also produced for my son who is in Australia and for my daughter who is in America as well as another an additional 4. Every one was fullsome in their appreciation. Cannot reccomend Claire highly enough.

We live in Australia and wanted to send flowers to a relative's funeral in London. I picked London & Belcher based on their previous reviews. Their website was very easy to use. Being so far away from family at these times is hard but to show that you are thinking of them in a small way but with something so beautiful as a London & Belcher floral arrangement makes it that little bit easier. My cousin sent a photo of the arrangement and it was just as described and pictured on the website. Highly recommended.

The flowers for our Auntie's funeral were a beautiful mix of garden flowers in every colour possible. She loved her garden and the display reflected this. Friends from Canada asked for an arrangement in small vases so my Mother and sisters could take them home. It was a clever idea and much appreciated. The service was very friendly and helpful in choosing our flowers, nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend them and would use them again.

Few and far between florist are becoming a place of rarity. But when you need to buy flower for a friend or relative then this is one that goes the distance. Reasonable price and will deliver quite a distance. A more local florist refused business due to the owner going in to hospital for an operation but they came out tops.
