"A modern American restaurant offering local ingredients and a seasonal menu"
Our office came for lunch and was very impressed by the prix fixe menu (small plate & large plate for $29). The baked ricotta cake with the bread on the side and was incredibly light. The veggie burger was dense and moist, one of the best I’ve ever had! The quality you get for the price you pay is most definitely worth a visit.
We had a great time at Loring Place celebrating our friend's birthday last night! The fall menu was excellent - we tried a bunch of appetisers and mains. A couple of dishes that stood out the most were - butternut squash fries, Date pizza, The short ribs and the skate. Not forgetting the upside down apple cake. More
We sat outside for Saturday brunch. Lovely NY day. We had the baked eggs. They were OK, the tomato sauce tasted fresh but not spices as described in the menu and too many mint leaves for my taste. Coffee came by the end of the meal. So bad timing there. Nice outdoor sitting but average food and service. More
Great spot! Went with a group of six and sat outdoors. Service was fast and steady. We ate all vegetarian and it was delicious. Everything was quite fresh and I must suggest the squash blossom pizza with chili honey on it, as well as the zucchini fries! Our Sancerre was also very good and reasonable. More
A modern American restaurant offering local ingredients and a seasonal menu. The dessert was the most memorable part of the menu, sweet, salty and nutty. Server got the wrong order or fish was the only blemish. The restaurant overall is a bit loud for conversation. More
Good food, nice service. The appetizers were great - particularly the asparagus fries (available in gluten-free). The sea bass was wonderful albeit smaller portion than I expected. Wine service was good - nice selection for a reasonable price. Would go back again. More
Had a great time today. Loved the food. Since the menu changes by the season I will definitely need to come back and check this place out again. Most importantly, the service was excellent, I really loved the staff that worked there - feels like good people. More
Loring Place is one of my favorite restaurants in the city! The service, food and atmosphere is exceptional. For those with dietary restrictions - they make sure to take extra precautions. I have celiac and have plenty of safe gluten free options. More
This place is so cute for a date, group dinner, celebration, or work event ! The hospitality blew us away and service was impeccable. Our server, Julie, made sure our evening was absolutely perfect and was so welcoming! The food was good,
I visited for brunch on a Sunday morning just after opening. I found the brunch offerings to be overpriced for the portion sizes; their french toast was a single slice of bread instead of the standard two, and not enough dipping bread was
This place will pour 3 ounces of wine in your glass and then look you in the eye and tell you it's their policy to pour 5-ounce glasses. Food was good, but can't recommend a place that stiffs you like that, especially at $20 a glass! More
This is my favorite restaurant and bar! The food is amazing, the staff is highly trained and the bartenders are exceptional. We get the calzone and grandmas pizza every time we go. The pasta is also good, actually the whole menu is great!
Absolutely amazing! Went last night with friends and we all had a wonderful time. The food is amazing - we had the ricotta, broccoli, brussels sprouts salad, kale salad, hummus, squash fries, and tuna crudo, and were so happy with
I had sn excellent dinner with a friend last night. Reservations are recommended because the place is busy! The appetizer of Butternut Squash fries is to die for. It's more tempura vs actual fries but the lemony dip was a perfect
Bar selection sucks. Dont go here to drink. The food was good and people were terrific. Our table had the crudo, skate, short rib, and chicken. Back to the alcohol. I have an issue with the vodka selection. They say only NY
We popped in for a glass of wine and stayed for some food. Date pizza was amazing - made with the freshest ingredients - so delicious! Service and staff were awesome - professional and super friendly. I’ll happily return!
Great atmosphere and very attentive waitstaff! We were disappointed by how tiny the pizzas were… it wasn’t enough for 1 person as a meal let alone sharing for R as an app. But overall good food and would be back. More
Great atmosphere! I found the food to be good and it was fun to share a few plates with friends to try a few different items. The asparagus fries were most interesting and I would definitely order them again. More
Pizzas / calzone was great, as was the French toast. Service was a little slow at Sunday brunch - due to how busy it was, but was fine and the server suggested some apps to keep us occupied while we waited. More
We had a wonderful experience at Loring Place last night. Our server, Julie, was so attentive and generous, and all the food was delicious. The baked ricotta was particularly good -- 11/10 recommend! More
The dish flavors had elevated acidity, and there was a bitter taste from the burned calzone base. The front service team excelled, but the kitchen team could enhance the dining experience further More
Had an amazing time at this restaurant! The atmosphere is lovely, and there are plenty of vegetarian options on the menu. The food paired with Georgian orange wine was super tasty, and the apple pie
I don’t get why this place is a thing. Every bite is a surprise—or rather a disappointment. Everything just tastes off. I’ve been twice, thinking the first was an off night. It was not.
Lovely place in a cute neighborhood. I have had two extravagant pizzas that were sensational, pumpkin ricotta bake that was out of this world and baked broccoli that was also very good.
This is a cozy and warm and soulful place. The food and atmosphere are excellent. The cocktails at the bar are amazing. Thank you for the warm evening on my husband’s birthday. More
Bakes eggs were amazing. Gives a spicy shakshouka vibe. Oaxaca old fashion was great as well. Restrooms are nice. Restaurant is spacious and style is clean and refined. More
The food was excellent. The use of different nuts for different dishes gave subtle flavors and textures where you did not expect them. Recipes were very flavorful.
A great new American dining experience with some unique dishes. We had the gem lettuces, the roasted sweet potatoes, the date pizza, and the roasted short rib.
Elegant ambiance serving sumptuous dishes- gracious and knowledgeable staff- lovely all!! We were completely charmed and indulged! More
