We shop at this location nearly every week, but as of today we'll be taking a break indefinitely. I purchased a bag of black mulch, asked for someone to load it, and drove to the loading area to wait for assistance. Waited for over five minutes and decided just to load it myself. Loaded it and sat in my car for a minute on my phone when I was finally approached by a Lowes associate named ****. I gave him the thumps up through my window since I didn't need his help and he persisted to ask for me to roll the window down, so I did. He then asked which mulch I purchased, and I told him the black mulch. He then asked which size, but I didn't know there was more than one size, and the lady during checkout didn't ask which size I wanted, so I assumed there was only one type/size. He then directed me to where the correct size mulch was and swapped it out. He then insinuated that I PURPOSEFULLY tried to get away with saving a dollar by stealing mulch and went on to segue into why I should sign up for a Lowes credit card. lol If I hadn't been so upset that he had just accused me of stealing, I would have laughed in his face. Anyway, I said no thanks, and he didn't stop but kept talking about signing me up, and I said no again, and got into my car with the window up, and he again asked if I wanted to sign up for a card THROUGH THE CLOSED WINDOW. Question for Lowes: Why is he in customer service when he has zero soft skills? This one bad customer experience has driven us away.

I've ordered at least $100,000 worth of appliances from this Lowes at 4800 North Oak Trafficway,I ordered appliances again 2 weeks ago which was to be delivered to my place on Friday April 14,23,they called and said the appliances would be delivered from 11:30 to 3:30,no show,never showed up,I called the corporate office in N.C.and all they could say was the appliances were on a truck with no clue in the world where they were,they told me that they hire a third party to deliver,they gave a number of the third party which in turn has an answering machine pick up at 3:30 in the afternoon and say that their in the middle of a shift change,wait till Monday,they call and say your appliances will be delivered from 1-5 Monday,another no show,called the corporate office again,they still know absolutely nothing,Tuesday now and no call and no show,once again I'm at the Lowes trying to get my appliances,I just received my appliances on Wednesday at 10:15 in the morning,and the driver of this so called third party that represents Lowes was rude,but I must say I will never do business with Lowes ever again,if nobody buys their appliances there will be no need to hire this joke of a company to deliver,so my suggestion to you is don't give Lowes your business for anything,and read the rest of the reviews and you'll understand that you don't want to do business with Lowes.

I went to this particular Lowe's because I was going to be in that area. I went in and had a few items t return. When I got to customer service both women working the counter were busy when I arrived. One of the women got done before the other looked at me and walked off. By this time I had waited patiently for at least 10 min. When the other lady noticed me she motioned to me to wait longer, I did. I found it to be a particularly long time to wait. However, I wasn't upset I tried to be understanding. She finally did come to return my items. Before I knew it she was done and looking at me as if I was lingering too long. I found that to be rude. Then I realized she didn't even ask how I wanted my money back. She automatically put it back to the card I had used. I find that to be rude. If anybody knows it takes days to get your refund. I actually wanted a gift card so that I could spend it on other items I wanted from the store that day and time. So I mentioned to her about the gift card. She shrugged and said it went right back and she had no control over it. That's a lie. I found her it be very rude and lying was unnecessary. So I pushed my cart off into the Halloween decorations and walked out. I won't be going back to that store anytime soon.

I came here today for some sand. My husband needed it for his boxing stand. I love coming here because it's close to my house and it's convenient. However, upon arrival, I noticed two employees talking. When they noticed me, they started to come inside. Anyway, I asked one of them for some directions on where to find the sand. She seemed irritated for some reason. I then went to where she said to go. I was instructed by some other employees to check outside in the gardening area for the play sand. They were extremely helpful! When I got there, I started looking for the sand and eventually found it. All of a sudden, I noticed an employee come out of nowhere acting as if he was straightening up some equipment. It wasn't long before I heard someone over the intercom saying they needed help guarding the garden gates. On top of that, when I was checking out, an employee walked by and looked in my basket. Not the cashier who was ringing me up, but someone different. Lol like really? I don't need to steal. As a government employee, I make more money than them, not to sound arrogant, but they view "US" as thieves and no goods. It's sad! At least the customers were helpful and genuine.

I like lowes. Sometimes the help is clueless but that doesn't mean they don't want to help. Sometimes you'll get lucky and there's a vet there who knows where what you need is. Prices are about average but to be honest I only really see better prices online and buying online as we all know can be hit or miss. Sometimes harbor freight can have a better limited time use tool(s). The biggest reason I shop at lowes personally, though, is the revival of craftsman tools. Let me be clear craftsman isn't the top brand anymore. But for bang for the buck its very worth it. They have a wide variety of things you might want and need. I also shop at lowes because it's close to home. I can't speak on behalf of contractors as much. Most contractors I know will go to Menards or home depot. But remember they buy big bulk from Menards and they buy top of the lone Milwaukee power tools for hard and heavy use. If your like me and your not building cities with day labor and even if you are a contractor lowes is like an F15. It's not an F22 but it's just enough of what you need to get the job done.

We went to lowes to purchase a washer. We got a very nasty sales lady. When were looking around she gave info all at once she had to go up to the store her dept. Leaving us there for near 20 mins.we had ask a man sales guy he said he did not Know where she went as if he didnt care either. We waited and did buy the washer. I told her to have good day. She said she would cause we were her last customers. I feel she had wanted us to leave and not have to check us out. Shame on her and the other guy that did not help us. This was a big purchase. She did it didnt matter she did not work not work on commission. I cat say we will ever go back there for anything! Suppoe to deliver washer on a certain day and I have dialysis and noted and were suppose to come th en and never showed up. Sounds like a very professional place .from now on I'll spend my money other places

2022 - April - Very knowledgeable about electric mowers. And a fun little rivalry between team members found us having one worker running for a cart and another team member arriving, picking up our mower and helping us load up the car. The first team member was likely confused why we were missing when he returned. 2020 - This Lowe's willingly sold holiday merchandise on 12/26 with no posted signs at the produce, no comments made by store staff at check out, and no note on receipt about holiday returns not being accepted after 12/26. The store manager would not accept any returns, "store policy", even turning away a woman who said her lights did not work. Disappointed, and frustrated, we are considering shopping at Home Depot, which is only a small distract further from our home.

No attendants are available when you initially enter the store. But browse around too long and 4-5 will locate you in the oddest of places asking if you need help However, their facial expression doesn't indicate that they really care to assist. The Garden area is ridiculous. Everything is Dead or Dying. At all the stores such as this they display should match the care of the items. If they require light they should be IN light. They are over watered and neglected terribly. It needs to be for appealing for customers and set up, arranged and organized much better. This is what the workers Should be giving their Attention to Not customers who don't appear in anyway to be Looking this Make believe assistance they Claim to offer.

Over crowed check out was a nightmare one cashier line four deep and the new American retail of self check out which was also 4 deep and had to go go to a lawn mower repair shop to finish my purchase. Well they took care of the line at checkout now it's self check out or don't purchase I did the DON'T PURCHASE returned a Skil trimmer won't use self check out the Liberty Missouri Lowes still have cashiers Menards has no self check out which gets most of my business. Well Gladstone Lowes going thr American way self check out only at 8 am and the exit doors still locked just more reason's to take my shopping to Menards farther away but no self check outs as of yet and better customer service.

2.5 months and I still don't have it! I am giving it an extra star because some of the people are nice. I ordered an ice maker from them twice. Today I went into the store to get an update because again because my item was supposed to be there 3 weeks ago. I was told they sold the item into the negative and it would be impossible to get the item. That is what they did on the first item I tried to purchase. 2 different times they sold me items they did not have and then never got back with me about it. All of the other times I had to deal with customer service/ management they where friendly and helpful but today the manager seemed to be bothered with my issues.

In there for over half an hour and no one asked to see if I needed help. I did ask one person initially but he motioned for me to hold on, left and never came back. And there was no shortage of employees in there either. Before leaving, I picked up an online order as well and the lady handed everything over with the exception of my rake and I pointed that out to her. She acted put out she had to walk a few more steps to find that last item, what a shame. Question, I get the self help lanes, but why do you have only those open while your employees stand around and talk with each other oblivious to seeing if your customers need any help???

Very poor service at this location. The gentleman working in appliances on March 4th 2023 ay 5pm, not only didn't acknowledge me when he saw me, he tried walking away. He looked very perturbed that I asked him a question. When I did ask the question, he barely let me finish my sentence before he pointed to what he thought I needed. He didn't offer to help or ask if I needed help. As soon as he finished speaking he went right back to looking at his phone or whatever device he was holding. I'll take my business to the Orange store where I seem to get better service. That includes my personal business and my work business.

Bought a special order door and also paid for installation but the installers never made contact with the store or myself after 2 weeks I canceled the installation and did it myself. Staff is friendly and will happily take your money but management needs to be trained in customer service. Was told by staff that the Manager would call me back and he did...14 hours later. Their contractor/installers need to be fired as well, if I knew their name I would share that as well but since they don't call I can't even give a phone number. Will never step foot in the place again!!! I will happily take my business elsewhere.

I went to this store on 7/11(Gladstone store) to look for replacement blades for my celing fan. It said that they had them in stock, turns out that I miss understood that. But a very helpful employee( Hannah) stopped to help me find what I was looking for. Since they didn't have what I wanted she looked it up to see if there was a store near by that had them. She even tried to call the other store that had what I wanted to have them pull it out of stock and hold it for me. Hannah is one of the reasons that I like Lowes. She was very knowledgeable and very helpful. THANK YOU miss Hannah!

The cashiers were very helpful and courteous. However the person both of them called to assist me in cutting two thin pieces of plastic in half never showed up. This alleged employee was paged 4 times. We could see him standing at the end of the aisle with his arms folded. Finally a customer I was chatting with for 15-20 minutes while waiting took out a pocket knife and cut the peices for me.. This lack of customer service does not promote a feeling of being a valued customer nor does it make me want to return to this location. They are not my only option in a home improvement store.

I would not recommend buying appliances from Lowes. The service for washer and dryer drop off and installation was horrible. First, instead of staying on the side wall they walked through grass and stained my brand new carpet. Then they did not have the tools to do the installation, they even asked me for the tool for them to use. Then they were not able to do the installation because when we purchased the representative forgot to mention we needed to purchase an extra piece. So we are not only out of being able to wash I have additional stained carpet.

Big box stores have a bad reputation, but I’ve been a convert from the HD days for a while and this store has a lot of good qualities. They offer a very good shopping experience with employees that offer assistance brought the store. I’ve always been able to get what I was after without any problems. Always offered assistance loading up and staff that are about to take break or leave have gone out of their way to help me. I’d have no issues shopping this location for my DIY project needs. Online ordering and store pickup has been smooth as well.

I believe after almost 6 months, I've given this Lowe's and their affiliate delivery service more than sufficient time to reimburse me for their delivery guy breaking the faucet knob when they came to install our washer and dryer last July. They have the audacity to claim the knob was already broken when they arrived. Sure! Doesn't everyone love to have water spray from the faucet hookup onto their floor and carpeting? That's what they want us to believe. Buyer beware of accepting delivery from this Lowe's location.

I placed my second order in the last 60 days for delivery. Assembly on my grill order was not fulfilled. I ordered a washer and dryer to be delivered and installed. The window for delivery was 8-4pm. I got a notification at 8 am it was our for delivery. At 321 pm and me wasting and entire day waiting they arrive with no stacking kit and cannot install my washer and dryer.Lowe’s is unorganized and can’t be trusted to provide quality services offered and paid for by customers. Unacceptable. Buyer beware.

I’m purchase the cabinet and also paid for the installation but the new customer service from the cabinet never call me or contact me at all. it’s been 3 months since I was purchased the cabinet. the cabinet company massed up the cabinet.I was told. I gonna receive new cabinet in two weeks but I didn’t. Neil, installer told me that they will notify the Lowes and and installation support but I haven’t heard from them since then. They left the cabinets open and the box every where on the floor.

Failed to deliver a washer twice. I ordered a washer and setup for delivery on a Friday. The delivery service was a no-show. I guess the washer was never loaded onto the truck. No one from Lowe's reached out to me about it so I waited around all day. That night, Lowe's rescheduled the delivery for Sunday so I wouldn't have to take off work. Washer failed to be delivered on Sunday. Again, no one from Lowe's or the delivery service reached out to me. Poor communication. Poor service.

Good day! Wanted to say a special thank you to Steven Townsend the Lowe's Pro in Gladstone, MO. We were in the store yesterday to purchase a new kitchen sink. He was very very pleasant to work with. He did just point us in the direction we needed for products but took us and showed directly where items were. He was educated and know what our needs were just after about 5 mins of conversation. Went to lowes to buy weatherseal for my door.. my partner and I were followed from the moment we came into the store.. nobody offered to help us but a employee with a lowes t-shirt followed us halfway through the store and what i assumed to be lost prevention tailed us from the moment we found our item til we went to checkout.. he was literally following us in circles. I understand Preventing stealing but i felt uncomfortable and unsafe.. it felt bias and discriminatory..

Way better than Home Depot and their store sis clean. Their staff is friendly and eager to help you find all that you need to complete your project with out buying things that you don’t need. Very knowledgeable and did I mentioned they are friendly? Well they are!! Whatever your project is bigger or small the team at this store is ready for you. They have a tremendous selection to pick from and sometimes it can even be too much. Stop by…they are worth it.

Wasn’t super impressed when I went to buy some flowers. I walked around outside and clearly heard who I assume was a manager telling another employee to do something and the employee basically said no im not doing that. They fought a little and not quietly. The employees seemed like they didn’t care to be there and made it very apparent, even my 6 year old said something to me. Go to a different Lowe’s or home depot what’s down the street.

Lowes customer service has went down hill over the years. They are just hiring anyone off the streets. I called the Gladstone location for propane heaters. The guy from lawn and garden did not know anything about it. He said we don't have any. I kindly told the guy I did not ask you if you had any I said what is your best recommendation on propane heaters. he said we have electrical come on down and check me out. Wow, I mean great service.

Needed a new refrigerator ASAP. Went here on a Thursday couldn't get it delivered until Sunday. Needed the ice maker installed and the doors switched to open on right. The salesman said they could that when it was delivered it hadn't been done. Also it had a little scratch on the freezer door. Really needed a refrigerator so just called the store manager said did not have another one so gave me pretty good amount off the price.

I really hate leaving this but this is the worst Lowe’s bathroom I have ever seen. I had an emergency while traveling and had to run in to a Lowe’s to use the bathroom. All the stalls are filthy and the one that was decent I went to use. When I was done I realized there was no toilet paper in the stall. Nor the stall next to me. Had to call the wife to sneak in the men’s room to bring me some from the women’s bathroom.

Great selection of so many items for the DIY Weekend Warrior or professionals needing supplies for a crew. Be sure to check their website for specific item inventory at the store you are going to shop at. It is usually spot-on and will help you make a trip only to find out the item you want isn't there. Of the various big box tool stores Lowe's has the best looking styles, and most options, of home remodeling items.

Easily one of my favorite stores. This visit many items did not have visible prices displayed. I had to download the app to find prices. Some items I had to unbundled, as they were not stocked properly, to scan them. And one sis not have a barcode to scan. The public facing employee at lawn and garden was not properly trained and should have had assistance . Update from a year later. Stock is lacking

Do not have them install your appliances. Technicians failed to install dryer correctly requiring me to go behind them and figure it out. Apparently matching up red/white/black wires to their corresponding colors is difficult. They also failed to follow through with making sure the appliance worked. They powered it on with an obvious error code and left. Had to clean up after them as well.

Last year's model wheelbarrows marked at $30. Clearly faded and surface rust. The website says none in stock so obviously leftovers from the back room. After they "checked with the manager" and admitted they put the wrong price they offered it to me at $80. If you admit fault sell at the advertised price. This isn't a street market we don't negotiate marked prices. Way to do business.

The employees are friendly and very helpful. The prices were very comparable. The salesman that was helping me was fantastic. He was on loan from another store his name was Bryan M. He was patient with my questions and he questioned me too make sure we were talking about the same thing. He gave me the right parts the first time and directions. I will definitely be using Lowe's again.

Called to find out the price of a chain saw. All the rep. could say is "I don't know". I called the actual store and never once did she offer to transfer me to a dept. specialist in that department. How in the world do you sell merchandise if you don't help customers find what they need? Will take my business elsewhere since they don't want the $450 I will be spending.

It was great! I had tried to obtain the Lowe's credit card online for a large purchase, and was receiving errors. This store was the only one that had what I needed. So I drove to the store, where a supervisor was able to not only help me obtain the credit card, but also took the time to help me with my purchase. I am very thankful for all the help!

I made a purchase online. Then the store proceeded to add a charge for delivery onto my total. I made the purchase due to free delivery. After the experience I had at Home Depot last night I compare Lowe's to Popeyes and Home Depot to Chick-fil-A. If you want amazing service go up the street to Home Depot. They make you feel valued as a consumer.

It’s a lowes. Not bad, nothing extra special about this one. You can get what you need and find help moderately easily. If you are there the last 20 minutes of the day though no one wants to help, they just want you to leave. Best go earlier or know what you are getting, cause their focus is going home at that point.

They seemed fine. Didn’t speak to a single human while I was there. Walked in and was not greeted by the guy up front. Wandered around looking for a specific product. Was not offered help. Checked out at the self-checkout while the attendant stared at me. Like I said, it was fine. The store is clean and organized.

Every single time i visit for their Kobalt lifetime no hassle warranty replacement I have issues. They either say I can't warranty it or I have to contact the manufacturer. Lowes makes the Kobalt brand. Never will I ever pruchase Kobalt tools. Home Depot has no issues. Just swap and go.

You can walk around looking lost and if you happen to see an employee they won't stop Tonasket if you need help. Most of them are too busy looking at their phones. When you finally do get help, they don't have any answers for you. Lowes just really sucks.

I went to purchase 2 kitchen cabinets there Home Depot wanted $67 Lowes wanted $79 they say they price match, the manager refused to price match. Went to the Lowes in Independence...they matched the $67 with no problem! Just an FYI!

Wanted to buy a Weber Grill for $600. They are all pre-assembled, but also covered in filth from being in the warehouse. Also, scratched up. Why would anyone spend $600 for a filthy, scratched up grill?
