The way the groceries are organized...it's like what happened to food safety regulations...whoops lets just forget about those..and I think there cash register lanes and carts are from target. They have a restaurant here and the food they sell in it is so terribly bad and it is just so disgusting it literally made me puke absolutely everything I had aten for the whole day and all over myself too it's truly the worst experience I've ever had in my life what happened to standards I really had hopes for this new place in this wonderful nehborhud but It was a complete and udder disappointedment I wasted my money here that's a fact

They must have changed the take out food area as they used to have a few items different from the Mcphillips location which was a draw for me. The quality of meat here is actually quite good and the bbq pork is better than most places I get asian crispy pork take out (due to less seasoning that let's the pork taste shine through better... more balanced). Friendly staff and large variety of asian goods to choose from! Bonus! They are clean and organized with well priced goods. If you are from BC or Alberta this place is your solution to T and T but with a smaller variety of asian candies.

I just visited Jefferson location. There was a lady cashier name Nazia, she was so rude and egoistic. She don't know what customer service is. I said hello and thank you, she even didn’t reply to me. While I was paying, I accidentally press cancel on debit machine and she was like “huh”. I think she is manger or supervisor there but she doesn’t know how to deal with customers.. what we can expect from another staff. It was a disappointing experience.

Just came from the Jefferson location. Bought some Fried rice and some BBQ pork. Pork was good, rice was not for eating !!!How dare you charge $4.99 for $0.50 worth of rice that is HARD AND CRUNCHY. Not sure about the rest of the people, but not a fan of breaking teeth on rice that has dried out and should NOT BE FOR SALE. When was this made, yesterday.

All I wanted to do was purchase a gift card and it seems like none of the cashiers can be trusted to ring them in. I was directed to customer service where it seemed like I was invisible because the front end supervisor and cashier didn't even acknowledge me. Waited almost 20 mins before I gave up and left. Terrible service, never shopping there again.

Lucky Supermarket is one of the Pinoy destinations for food. Inside, you will find lots of pinoy originals like the famous sisig, taho, salted egg, goldilocks products, robina products, famous pamapanga and bulacan tocino and red hotdogs and more. The price is fair and more often less so more asians and the like usually come to buy for food.

  • Cam Forman

I have been here a few times for their deli. Good selection of Thai style noodle bowls, Chinese and American Chinese combos all for a good low price with a nice clean eating area. This is the best kept secret of the maples area. The store appears to be a great source for Asian and other imported cooking supplies as well.

Great place to grab fresh meat. Prices are higher than average. It's a hit and miss with the produce, as far as freshness. Make sure you check the expiry dates on shelved items. I purchased a powered soup mix, which usually has a year or two of shelf life, and didn't realize it expired within a week.

  • CaZsm

Decent selection of varied foods, but common household produce is very expensive and often not fresh, the store always smells like meat that’s gone off, and just today my mother bought a bag of chicken for $8 that had gone bad. Would recommend avoiding the meat lest you get food poisoning.

  • Ir Ke (Nickname)

Helpful and friendly staff. Store is clean. Unfortunately the products I was looking for weren’t in stock, but staff was able to provide me details on when to expect the shipment. I w noticed that fruits from Lucky Supermarket are much more flavourful than from Canadian supermarkets.

  • sharon T

They sell a variety of foods that's easily recognizable. If you're interested in trying foods from East Indian culture, this is a good place to start. There are a variety of fruits, vegetables and fresh herbs. Pretty nice bakery but personally wish prices were a bit cheaper.

  • G Aquino

Decent supermarket conveniently located in a predominantly Asian neighborhood of Winnipeg. They carry a wide variety of products, food stuff, and ingredients required to prepare Asian dishes. Cashiers were friendly and helpful. There is ample parking in front of the store.

  • Yanyan SJ (Yanyi)

Lots of asian inhredients at a cheaper price. Lots of parking, large carts 1$ deposit. They have smaller plastic carts as well but you cant take them outside. Free plastic bags (if you are into that). A bit lacking in local ingredients and produce is of fair quality only .

  • Krystal Gillespie

Clean and neatly organized. On this visit, it was really busy, but didn't feel crowded. I only marked it down a star because the prices for everyday items (canned iced tea, noodles, some sauces) we're quite noticeably more expensive than at Walmart or Superstore.

  • wes mann

Local supermarket that filled a much needed void when previous tenant folded. I was honestly elated when I heard it was coming. A fast and easy place to visit with an Asian flavor. Meats are a little lacking. Also backpacks must be checked, which is a pain.

  • Julius Estrada

Best place to find any Asian ingredients or food and snacks, prices are affordable and reasonable. It is one of the go to supermarkets. Mar's Sisig is also located inside which is one of the best Filipino food, served fresh, you can dine in or take out.

  • Mark Petrasanta

A rare gem of a grocery store that sells ready to eat vietnamese food. The eatery is fairly cold in the winter, which made eating less enjoyable (lose a star). However, don't let the lack of climate contol stop you from trying this place out

  • Raj Garg

Always find something to buy from this place. Veggies that can't be located at other Asian stores, most of the time they have them. Depending upon what you are looking for sometime prices are genuine, and sometime they are insane.

  • Reilly Ross

Good selection of choices, however since I wasn't from the area, I was treated like an outsider with a couple customers insulting me, even to the point where they cut infront of me while I was in line. The cashier was nice though.

  • PREET KHAIRA

Recently, I purchased raw chicken from Lucky Supermarket with the hope of preparing a delicious meal. Unfortunately, my experience with the product was disappointing, mainly due to a pungent odor emanated from the raw chicken.

  • Michael Nowakowski

It's an alright place for some hard to find items like spring roll wrappers. Lots of Asian and Phillipines food. The fresh cooking in this place smells so amazing that as soon as you walk in it makes you hungry. Beware!!!

  • Engle-Jones Aquino

Service is good, except to the lady in the meat section with a bandana(might be) on her head, when he hand me the meat instead of saying "here you go." She said "Oh!" and handed me my order, the cashiers are friendly.

  • Harshdeep

It is a good place to get Asian products specially Indian things. Moreover, they have fresh produce products like vegetables and fruits. Apart from this, it is a part of big plaza so one never face a parking problem.

  • Mac Gerard Perez

In my experience, this is the biggest Asian food store here in Winnipeg. They have 2 store in the city. The other one is located at 1051 Winnipeg Ave. Corner Mcphilips. You can also find Mar's Sisig in both stores.

  • John Kletke

Went in to buy soup. Waited there for 15 minutes will they served people behind me. Because one of the servers said wait a minute. They never got back to me. So I walked out. Not sure if I will go back there again.

  • Crash Bandicoot

I'm pretty sure half of the things that go on under management are against the code of human rights... workers look at you with disgust if you are white or black... definitely not a good supermarket

  • June's TV

It's one of my favorite asian grocery because they have almost anything an asian home likes to find. It's not as overpriced compared to seafood city and has more options compared to youngs

  • Jean-Michel

Nice big market. Lots of selection. I could read some of it, but I probably need a guide to help me with what things are. I bought some loose Gen Maicha green tea, it's delicious.

  • Kim Leopard

  • Enn Cee

The Jefferson location is a lot cleaner and more spacious than the McPhillips location. It's definitely more organized. I will start going to this location more often.

It's a bit more organized than many other Asian grocery stores. Staff are friendly and store has a wide variety of items. You can even pick up meals ready made to go.

  • Karl Bruggeman

Good selection of Asian foods with reasonable prices. Not a huge store so that selection is a bit narrower than superstore. Lots of parking. Decent restaurant inside.

Convenient for our location, but some produce is not fresh. However if you bring it to the attention of staff it is corrected

  • Justin Frost

A great store to get your Asia vegetables and fruits. The selection of noodles both fresh and dry is also a bonus.

  • Kathy Sutherland

I like asian food so this place is so amazing to go to. Can't afford sushi so this is the next best thing lol
