"We were a group of 13 who had to sit separately because the waitress was confused on how to move the tables together I should have taken pics the service was horrible although she was very nice she lacked the skills to waitress, the food was even worse cold ketchup like sauce served with overcooked Calamari, two of us didn’t even bother trying entrees after the terrible appetizer "
"Okay so this place is a bit odd, let me explain"
"They are hiring people and I suggest you guys not to work here, I’ve been training for almost a week and haven’t been hired, they have paid me $20-30, and the highest I got was $40 for working 8 hours straight"
Very friendly and accommodating! Lovely 3-wall, covered outdoor dining with decorative greenery. Apparently the area has a lot of Albanian and Turkish cuisine (Cakor, Çka Ka Qellu, No Fork, and Gurra Cafe to name a few with outdoor dining), so even though the place has a large assortment of food including sandwiches, pasta, and salads, I really wanted to try from their traditional Albanian section, since I've never had any before. The waitress was really nice and patiently did her best to walk me through what everything was when she saw me trying to look up pictures of the food items online . After we finally decided to order (was waiting for a friend to arrive) they asked us if we each wanted a cup of traditional soup on the house! It was yummy, but I didn't catch the name. Surprisingly, I think the complimentary Samoon bread didn't arrive until the entrees did. It was great with the soup, of course :) I decided on the "Banja Luka" / "Bunja Luka" (Samoon traditional bread, pulled filet with mushrooms & onions, with sour cream) which from the waitresses description I summed up, "So it's like a sandwich?" She wasn't sure. "Uh... It's not quite like a... Philly Cheesesteak." But at the end when I had finished thinly sliced steak (actually, yeah, like in a Philly Cheesesteak) with mushrooms and onions in a giant, wide and tall, puffy, airy samoon bread sliced she asked, "So what do you think? Is it a sandwich?" I said, "Oh definitely! An Albanian Sandwich!" So if you hear it being described as such at Luna Cafe, know that I was the one who coined it! My husband had the Mixed Combo from the traditional Albanian Menu section. It included 5 kebap, 2 qoftes, 1 sausage, and 1 pc. grilled chicken. It's a bit of an appetizer sampler plate with sausages, fried patties, chicken, and a small side salad. He said it was good! My friend ordered the penne a la vodka which came with a side salad in a bowl with feta on top.

do not even bother giving them your money! The employees at this restaurant added a $25 charge to our card after we paid for and signed the check. after giving them a 4 star review I had to change it. THIS IS UNNACCEPTABLE. Times are tough for everyone right now and for us to give them business and they try to rip us off is insane. there was already a tip included in the bill, So for them to add more money is not cool at all! Outdoor seating available, three of us were greeted by a young lady with not much expression, she took our order and about 10-15 minutes later a gentleman named Joel (who was very nice) brought us a bread basket and some salads. That helped to hold our hunger until the entrees arrived about 30 mins later. The steak and salmon arrived first with no potatoes (as advertised) and 10 minutes later the penne arrived. When we asked the server about the potatoes he went back and asked the chef but the chef said that they ran out of potatoes. The rib eye steak was amazing, the broccoli was also good, it had a light flavor and nice crunch. The salmon was average could have used more flavor. The penne was also decent, the flavor on the chicken was pretty good. We also ordered a New York cheese cake that was average in flavor and an iced caramel macchiato that was good! Before arriving to Luna, I expected to have a bad experience because of the reviews but it wasn’t terrible! I would just suggest for the searing area to be cared for a bit more and a little more consistency when it comes to the menu offerings, if the menu states that the meal will be accompanied by potatoes and vegetables but there are none that should be communicated by the server and some sort of compensation or accommodation should be offered. Besides that the experience was decent, Joel was very nice and the food was pretty good.
We were a group of 13 who had to sit separately because the waitress was confused on how to move the tables together I should have taken pics the service was horrible although she was very nice she lacked the skills to waitress, the food was even worse cold ketchup like sauce served with overcooked Calamari, two of us didn’t even bother trying entrees after the terrible appetizer . We were a large party but it was me my husband and kids and grandkids and gratuity was added so we didn’t leave anything more they loaded the food with pepper my daughters chicken Parmesan hero was chicken fingers with their ketchup sauce and cheese it was horrible I ordered pasta primavera which stated broccoli spinach carrots and peppers it was shredded carrots like on a salad no spinach no peppers some other weird thing and loaded with black pepper and dry the mozzarella appetizers were served with overcut tomatoes and drowned in balsamic and the cheese did not taste fresh the pizza was the only edible things we had ,avoid this place , never again the bill was also 355 dollars because the sodas were about a 6 oz bottle and way over priced also my husband asked for orange soda and she brought him orange flavored water can’t tell you how much that was but it was also a can it was a very expensive mistake eating at this place!!!ALSO NO SALAD AND BREAD WAS EVER BROUGHT WITH THE ENTREES and my other daughter ordered penne vodka it was not vodka sauce we also had Alfredo they said was decent and my step daughter had lamb chops she enjoyed but unfortunately bad outweighed the good definitely avoid unless you like overpriced bad food with bad service

Okay so this place is a bit odd, let me explain. Went here on a date with my gf and when we entered the place we were a bit confused to if we just sit down or wait to be seated. Staff could see us waiting but I’m not sure if they were to busy or what but I had to come to the front counter for someone to tell me I could sit anywhere. Okay so we sat down, menus were given. We decided on our food and ordered it. About after 10 minutes waiter comes back, neither of the foods we order were available. Okay fine, we settled on something else to share no biggie. Once we finish eating we pushed the plate at the end of the table to show we were done but after about 15-20 minutes I got up to ask for the bill. No biggie but considering the waiter passed by our table no less than 4-5 times I thought it was weird he never made eye contact or thought to ask if he were done. When I got the bill same thing happened, waited this time about 20-25 minutes before having to goto the counter to pay my bill. Staff wasn’t rude or nasty but they seemed untrained and definitely inattentive. Food was okay nothing special, scenery was nice. On another side note, it seems like a place for locals because there was a majority of customers who were Russian or polish or Greek, I don’t know but they would come in and act real familiar with the staff and seemed to get more service. Ps. It was only about 40% full from what I could see
They are hiring people and I suggest you guys not to work here, I’ve been training for almost a week and haven’t been hired, they have paid me $20-30, and the highest I got was $40 for working 8 hours straight. Its like getting paid 3 dollars an hour !! The highest I worked was 12 hours and they payed me $20. So if your looking for a job I suggest you not to come here. They will use you and they are selfish bc they want the money for themselves. I have made tips but didn’t get any, just went straight to their pockets. The place is very stressful and they want you to do things perfectly and if you make small mistakes while training, they will give you an attitude and yell and when that happened to me they told me only to clean and give the food, but that’s not what training is all about. While I was working there, they never even told me thank you for your help and the job is very tiring, giving the customers food, getting tables, cleaning, giving checks on time. I have learned many things while training and was confident to get tables but still never got hired. The coworkers can even snitch on you for small mistakes too. What’s even worse is that I barely get any breaks, we are mostly on our feet and can’t sit down, so there are barely breaks. It is not worth it working for them at all.
All I can say is skip this place. Do not waste your money n time here. I got there at 820pm. I did not get service until 840pm. At 935pm still didn't get wat we ordered n that's when i left. They did bring out the drinks and a dessert that my friend ordered at around 850pm. I asked the waiter when he passed by... What's up with my order. He said the most dumbest lie. "The cook forgot your order in the oven n it got burnt". I mention my friend's order, what about the calamari, he tells us that they don't have any. That order was made at 845pm n he tells us after 9pm n that's only because I asked. At this point it wasn't worth it. I lost my appetite. I gave it another 20 min and still nothing. I said f that. I went inside and asked for my check for the CAN OF SPRITE, POLAND SPRING BOTTLE WATER, COFFEE, N CREPE. It came out to 21 n change!!! i messed up. I wasn't thinking cuz I was already frustrated. I only looked at the items charged n not the prices. There is no way that those items even cost that much. I usually read reviews of a place before entering, but this was spur of the moment. I was hungry n riding by n seen it n stopped. Man, i should've read the reviews. The comment about this place being a scam, i agree 100% with. This the worst place n service i ever had. Avoid this place!
+1 If not only the waiter that serve you but 2 more came to you table and started taking drinks and plates without even asking if we are done and with a rush that made them spill on my phone the half empty bottle that they took off the table without asking if we are done I repeat. Not acceptable. Not professional. (and I know that the kids that they are working there are following someones orders so I don't blame them entirely, but guys is common sense) Not only that but in addition, we got a sense that they wanted us to leave since they kept changing the volume of the music to an annoying level. We didn't even stayed more than an hour. And I get it all of us in my table have been waiters before, and we know that maybe they were ordered to empty the table for someone else (inside was empty btw it was only us and 2 more tables) but I'll tell you this, there are many ways to empty the table, and how about asking the people that occupied your favorite table, to move? We would have move because is not a big deal. Under this circumstances, we will not visit this place again.

We got in and no one paid attention to us. Had to ask the server if we chose our seats or if we could sit anywhere ourselves. She said anywhere. We sat for almost 15 minutes without any service. No drinks were taken down nor a I’m your server I’ll be with you in a minute. It was somewhat embarrassing coming in to watch customers come in, sit, get served, and leave signing the receipt in 15 minutes. We had waiters and waitresses pass us several times and we still had no service. We had our order ready and we’re starving, yet nothing. We got up walked out, and the manager says “thanks for coming, have a good day” -_- I told him that we waited way to long and no one served us. He offered drinks and food then, but at that point we weren’t happy campers. To be very honest, I felt like there was some type of favoritism. (Two couples entered the restaurant right before us, sat down, got served, got dessert, and waited for their receipt for the time we were there) and the SMOKING, terrifying. I walked out with an asthma attack.

This place is a hit or miss when it comes to food. The pizza is really good. So is meat burek. The spinach is OK. I’ve been asking for “mantije” since God knows and the waitress said “ we have it on the menu but we NEVER make them” What? Many of the waitresses don’t understand English and have no idea how to make a coffee. I’ve been there probably 4 times by now and a simple ice coffee order is always somehow messed up! The last time they had no cups for the ice coffee so the guy went on to look for it above the bar then in the back then he fought with his coworkers on Albanian I guess! as in why they don’t have them then he put the ice coffee in two separate little hot coffee cups like what??? I just took one of them and fled the scene. I mean come on. P.S. I don’t understand how can someone be so COCKY about their bad reviews from people who are NOT Albanian ??? Your answers are preposterous. I guess this place is made for Albanians not Fordham students nor the Arthur Avenue neighborhood.
I don’t know how this place has a 4.2 * . We went there so many times trying to give them a chance to get better it's not with time or money. Last experience was horrible. We sat on a table and it was so dirty the server came by never hi never hello just looking like we have to ask him something than they took the order never cleaned the table. We waited 30min for a bottle water (which was served in a plastic bottle never brought the glasses), the food came in and it’s all wrong. When we asked why another server came by and said OH OK like no sorry or anything. Went to the kitchen and came back saying oh we can’t make that we don’t have the cheese. We had to leave and they gave us attitude after being there for more than 1h not having lunch and just losing time and money. Never again. BTHW there are a lot of people outside smoking and if you are planing to seat close to the window just be prepared no one will turn the cigarette off if you ask them to. I guess typical Albanian attitude!
Worst service in the area! I was amazed by the rude experience I had. I’m never coming back !! They racist and that’s including the Spanish rude waitress!! Unacceptable the amount of time it took to get approached and service! They were giving us Dirty looks!!! Waiter couldn’t understand for some reason when I speak clear English !! He kept asking me to repeat myself but didn’t ask anyone else that! Food was ok , we waiter 45 mins for simple food!! They gather at the door and talk about people as if we can’t understand or hear them!! I’m never going back to this place!! They only treat their own kind of people good!! Manager is just as worst as the service and employees!! Sucks!!! Do better!! Accept and be respectful of everyone !!! YOU IN THE BRONX!!!

I had a chicken sandwich and an Iced latte, and when I got home I had realised that I got terrible food poisoning from this place. Edit: I called in and asked for the manager just to let them know what had happened and to maybe be more careful, the workers were friendly but as soon as the manager was on the line she was hostile and began to argue with me. I told her that for that whole day the only thing I ate was the chicken sandwich and the iced latte I got from them. No apology or anything, she kept arguing that everything there was prepared fresh. All I wanted was for her to just acknowledge what I was saying but she continued to argue. I told her what I wanted and I received a very forced apology followed by a comment about how “I might be coming down with something” but last night at 2am when I threw everything up I and instantly felt a lot better. So you decide if it was the food or I was “coming go down with something”
Went here for brunch - we were sat quickly and a nice waitress took our order, but it was all down hill from there. It took 10+ Minutes just for them to give us some water, and when we finally got the water we put in an order for another dish, which apparently then messed up our whole order and our waitress gave it food to someone else and we ended up having to wait another 30 minutes for the food. This is of course when there’s almost no one in the restaurant and the cooks are coming out to chat with the servers. Then, when we finally got the food, one of the items was not what we ordered. When I asked the waitress about it, she denied the mistake even though it was clearly a different dish on the menu. Food was mid.

I entered respectfully into this restaurant and I asked for fettuccine Alfredo with broccoli and my girlfriend takes a bite from it and after that there was a piece of hair dangling from one of the Noddles and as soon as I look strangely with a face of discuss she pulls the hair out her mouth and falls in Disgrace. Also i spoke to the workers and then the chef came and told me that I will still be getting charged for the other foods that my girlfriend had ordered. But didn’t charge the fettuccine.. but I told him we don’t wanna eat at the RESTAURANT AT ALL BECAUSE WE FELT DISGUSTED OF EATING THERE. WE FELT UNCOMFORTABLE TO EAT AND HE STILL CHARGES US FOR THE FOOD NOT ONLY THAT HE DIDNT RESPECT US AND TOLD US NOT TO COME BACK THERE EVER AGAIN TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND RESPECT. DO NOT COME HERE I SOMT RECOMMEND IT.
Let me start by saying this is about my 10th time eating here, but my first bad experience. I love the fried Calamari so that's what I had.. A tad bit salty today, no clue why.. Upon walking up to the door, the waitress tells to sit anywhere outside.. I do.. Unfortunately I sat there for about 20 minutes before someone other than her asked did someone take my order.. Over looked? Maybe but I was sitting right by the front door.. So I finally get my plate of food.. Waiter walks away.. No water offered. No utensils offered. I HAD TO ASK.. Even had to ask for the bill.. Needless to say if I'm ever craving a quick Calamari fix, I'll just get it to go..

Honestly, if I could give 0 stars I would. I rarely do reviews but I had to. This is unacceptable. I went with my family on 4th July I went ahead asked if they open they said yes. Once we got there we sat for 10 mins before someone came to the table, we asked for water and menus. After another 25 minutes then they came with NO water and decided to take our order; sadly to say he didn't have pen and paper so had to go back to get pen and paper. Once he took our order again still no water for the table we waited. After another 10 minutes they came back and told us EVERYTHING we ordered is not being serve and they only burgers and pizza. At this point we was upset and just walked out to NEVER return again.
While the ambiance and social distancing and outdoor space are good, the food and service are not. I finished appetizers and an entree before my guests meal showed up 40 minutes later. Even though the menu said a salad and bread would be provided, neither was. The risotto was tough and undercooked, the sauce, liquid. The salmon, ordered nearly 45 minutes ago, hasn't arrived as yet so I can not review it. And the servers never asked us our opinions, if we needed refills on a hot day or even seemed to care. The salmon arrived and my guest is enjoying it. It took 50 minutes. There were no sides with his entrée, just the fish. I had to go into the restaurant to find a server to pay the bill.
The staff was very friendly. They made sure that we were comfortable and had enough space for our food. Our server was also patient as I asked him a bunch of questions about the Albanian menu items. For food, my party ordered the Burek Cheese, Qebapa, and Strawberry Crepe. This was my first time having Albanian food and I must say, the Burek and Qebapa were my favorite! I would definitely come back to try the other variations of the Burek, Quebapa and Qofte. I took one star away because my friend did not like the crepe (and barely ate it) and we were not prepared for the amount of cigarette smoke we'd have to endure the entire time. I wish they had a non smoking section.
Yesterday was my boyfriend’s birthday. We decided to stop at Luna cafe after our trip to the Bronx Zoo. I ordered the Chicken parmesan and he order the individual size cheese pizza. I received three chicken tenders with sauce and melted mozzarella cheese on top with a side order of penne. My meal was an entree that comes with a salad and bread however, I never received it. My boyfriend pizza slightly burnt and ultra thin. When I look over at other tables I notice those who did ordered entrees received their salad and bread. Worst service and food ! Don’t go here

Service could of been much better. As we were seated it took the wait staff at least 10 mins to ask us what we wanted to drink, we all said water and they brought us out bottle water while everyone else around us was served tap water. As tables around us were seated they were served before us. The food finally came out and everything was over cooked and a very sloppy presentation. When we finished our meal we tried to get our waiters attention for the check but he kept on ignoring us. Horrible experience. If other places in the neighborhood were open we would of walked out but it was Christmas day and after traveling all day we just wanted a meal. Never will go back.
La Luna is BEST restaurant in Little Italy left!! The best customer service, fresh food and even the water w/ lemon, salad, soup and entree was delicious! The food came out in a timely manner and we had a great time without being rushed or bothered at all. I went home later to realize I left my bag there and when I called they had it and were so sweet about it. The next morning I went back and had a cappuccino with a croissant which they offered to put Nutella on and it was delicious too!!!!!! This will be the only restaurant for me - for breakfast, brunch and definitely dinner! It’s the gem of restaurants in Little Italy!!!!!!!! Finally a great experience!!!!!!
Let me just say the service is horrible not once but twice. My teen daughter asked me if they were prejudiced. I will never patronize them again. I have been there probably 10 times and tip very well, the last two times were the worst. I’ve eaten at just about every restaurant in Little Italy Bronx NY. Luna Cafe it’s not a good look for you if you continue to discriminate your clientele. Just Horrible! You never know when you are entertaining an Angel be kind. I did not want to give you 1 star but it won’t let me post if I don’t hit the star. No star for you!

Decent food at premium prices. Our server was rude and clearly wanted to be anywhere else. One in our party ordered linguine which is on the menu. Server basically gaslighted us by saying that don’t have linguine, not that they were out, that they never have it…it’s on the menu. She was intentionally rude and belittling. To top it off, the bathrooms were locked and the staff refused to allow our party to use them. This was after we had our low quality meal and paid. All of that to be charged and automatic 18% gratuity. Never will go back. If you like overpriced confused food served by rude staff at a high price, you’ll love Cafe Luna.
Very nice ambiance the waiters are very nice great service gives you an indoor outdoor seating option I chose inside due to the heat wave that day it was nice and cool inside I ordered the creamy reessotto with steak and my husband order fettuccine Alfredo with the grilled chicken . We were not aware of the portion sizes for it was our first time dining there the portion sizes are rather large the husband and I shared my order and still leaving some over as for the fettuccine it could use some more flavoring but other then that the salad was delicious the atmosphere was calm relaxing and great over all I still give it a 5 star
This place is a bit of a scam. The bill includes the 15% tip. Then they say on the bill that there’s a cash discount. The waiter comes out and tells me the “credit card machine is down”. So I pay in cash… the kicker is that not only did they not discount me for paying in cash, but the guy brought back the wrong change and swiped an extra $2 in addition to the pre built in 15% tip. Was that $2 worth the bad review? You have to ask yourself. So basically I paid more to pay in cash and not with a credit card. I give it a few months before this place goes under.

The smoking inside is kind of controversial but me and my family are never bothered by me, the service is great and waiters are always friendly. I’ve been ordering from this place over the span of maybe three years and wanted to share my own opinion. And I always come here for the penne allá vodka, in my opinion it’s one of the best places in little Italy and the place itself is beautiful.

The Luna Cafe was EXCELLENT. I had a new breakfast experience there. I believe it was called a Busca, with spinach, meat and cheese. I had to pass on the xheese though but it was DELICIOUS. The atmosphere was wonderful and the I believe the owner or possibly the manager took my order. Oh I forgot to mention, the cafe was just opening this morning. Other workers arrived, greeted me, brought me my coffee and breakfast. It was a beautiful experience to sit and enjoy a Italian breakfast being form African American descent

I enjoy this place. I like to order the Qofte and the beef Burek. There desserts are decent and have a good variety. There Turkish offer is good depending on who makes it. My complaint is the smoking and Service. PPl light up indiscriminately there and if you aren't a smoker, you'll feel as if it is encroaching on your personal space and infiltrating your meal and nostrils. Sometimes, service can be a bit slow. I'm usually there for a couple of hours because you can sit and talk without someone bothering you for a long time, which is only a problem if you need a refill
Wow an amazing corner filled with so, so many delights to please any palate at any time of the day or evening. I have been visiting this place for years but with this new and improved management/ staff and decor this cafe has been upgraded from a cafe to a bistro. It has the best hot chocolate, delicious quick bites and mouth watering desserts, and it's all served fresh and with a smile. Perfect place to visit when you visit NYBG, Bx Zoo, Fordham University, Arthur Avenue/ The Bx's "Little Italy". Drop by if you're in the neighborhood, you wont be disappointed.
Horrible customer service. Don’t go here. If you don’t believe me just read the other review from Luke. Same rude staff problem lol. One of the Albanian waitresses was very rude to our group by giving us smug and sarcastic answers whenever we asked her simple questions about the menu options. She also caught a bad attitude and rushed us to make an order. When we ordered she served everyone else and left us for last. I had to get up and get my item because of how long she took. Never coming back.

I really disliked this place. The service and food were horrific. My guest's food arrived nearly 30 minutes before mine. We had to go get cutlery when some dropped after waiting for three different waiters to hear our need and then promptly ignore it. The noise was loud and when it was time to flee we had to go into the restaurant to find a server to pay the bill as no one cares. The food was not good and we will not be back and we eat in Little Italy four times a week. This restaurant needs s complete reboot and all of the staff need retraining.
The service was horrible, it’s more of a gossip cafe than an professional cafe. The staff are rude even though they don’t say anything but their gestures shows it. The boss or managers smokes hooka in the cafe. It’s not professional at all. I’ve had a friend who tried working there and they didn’t pay her. They used her and then told her to not come back after telling her to work 8-12 hours and take tables. The staff also don’t wear mask and are inconsiderate about the smoke.
Started out okay. It wasn't too crowded and there were plenty of servers to tell us we can sit where we want. But it took me flagging down a server after sitting for 20 minutes to place an order. Our app and salad came out quickly, but they never brought our pizza. We were patient considering it started to get pretty crowded. But after waiting another 40 minutes, I got up and went in the restaurant to pay for the items we actually got, which was really too kind of me.
Update 8/9/22 I had to lower a star because they aren't delivering anymore and that's a necessity as I've been without a steak hero for months now.. ☹️ Below in parentheses was my review 3 yrs ago .. & even tho things crazy now due to cv19, their steak hero n fries are still DA BEST & their service is superb.. they even delivered to me 10 blocks away & as always very very nice! (Steak hero is delicious! Their seasoned fries are scrumptious!)
Second time I get the same Spanish female waitress who is not attentive and rude. She misunderstood the coffee I ordered and brought me the wrong one. Instead of apologizing, she went back and forth me about the coffee. She then grabbed the coffee rudely and said she will change it. I held my composure because I was with my family. Thanks to her, I will not return to Luna cafe.

Luna Cafe on Arthur Ave charged us for "stale" tiramisu. We ordered a tiramisu and a cheesecake with coffee. We express that the tiramisu was not fresh. They explain that we took a bite hence and they cannot remove it from the bill. I expressed that the only way I can tell the tiramisu wasn't of quality was by tasting it. Anyway, we paid for "stale" tiramisu and they lost two future customers.

What a disappointment. This place went down the hill for real. Ordered a margherita pizza ( supposed to be fresh mozz ,sauce and basil) and got this instead: A tortilla with light cheese, sauce and olives?? Hot pepper?? . Asked them for basil they said they don’t have it. Someone should’ve told me when they took the order. This place is a joke

Everything seemed to be like quite of a mediocre time, food was ok but nothing out of this world, waitress super nice with us, sadness for the ending day … and then Some guy started to scream in one of the tables … ranting and talking some intense stuff to some other guys … suddenly the whole Albania showed up and kicked him out... I feared for my life but it cheered up the night completely
How is it legal in 2021 to allow smoking in an indoor enclosed portion of the restaurant? The dining room was cloudy from all of the cigarette smoke! The tiramisu (that is what they called it anyway) was extremely dry and perhaps the worst example that I have ever tasted. With all of the great restaurants and pasty shops in the area I’m surprised that this place can stay in business.
A new place for my son and I, we both were delighted with the food taste, the good service, and the very cozy and warm place on a very cold and windy day. We shall return with more family and friends. It's worth the trip to Little Italy in the Bronx.!.

The location and ambiance are good. I like the outdoor seating set up. The place could be a little cleaner. Lots of cigarette butts and smells wafting through the air. The service was slow, and honestly, the waitress seemed less than happy We were there. Also too many groups of guys hanging around the place. The food, although generic, was quite good. Don’t know if I’ll return.
Went there last night bad service ! My child food cold then in the last minute they say you need to pay cash “because the machine is been broken “ you can send us zelle … really !!!! It was my first night and last I don’t recommend.

I always go here with my friends. The service is pretty quick and the staff is friendly. I love their desserts especially the tiramisu cake. The hookah is also good, it's not too harsh or anything. It's smooth. But just know that they don't have many flavor options and you only get two free refills of coal. After that, you have to buy a new set and it's $30.
no ac and it's 95 degrees out. you ask for a menu and they tell you they are only serving 4 dishes. it's brunch time and you can't get food at a cafe that shows pictures of food in their windows? outdoor seating isn't any better because it's so hot out plus the traffic coming thru and the people just walking so close to where the tables are it's disgusting.
LOUSY SERVICE, WE HAD TO REPEAT OURSELVES 3 TIMES TO CLEAN THE TABLE, MY HUSBANDS MEAL SAID VEGETABLES AND IT CAME WITHOUT VEGGIES, AND WHEN WE ASKED FOR IT ALL HE GOT WAS BROCOLLI, AND THE SOFT BREAD CAME OUT AT THE END...SMH AND FOOD HAS NO TASTE, GO ELSEWHERE, DON'T BE DISSAPPOINTED, WOULD GIVE IT NO STARS, BUT HAVE TO CHOOSE ONE.... UGHHH
No this restaurant has gone downhill since it’s been taken over by the new owners because if you have brown skin doesn’t matter what country you’re from so long as your skin is brown they are not gonna try and take your order they let you sit there I came in with a party of seven and we sat there we ended up going someplace else More
I went here first time with my husband for an outdoor seating. This place is great and good was awesome However no alcohol outside from what i understand ..atleast. Try them out they are pretty good.

I like to come to this place its one of my favorite place in the neighborhood but Music is too loud every-time i visit this place. I don't really enjoy my food when its blasting music right next to my ear i cant even hear my husband speaking we have to come closer to each other on the table so we can hear each-other.
I had a phenomenal experience. We were greeted by the hostess in a timely manner, and I had a perfectly executed albanian dish called "skenderbeg" as well as their specialty pizza that was topped with mushrooms, albanian smoked meat, and albanian sausage. The pizza was cooked to perfection.
For me a restaurant experience is excellent service and food. Unfortunately this restaurant failed to deliver on all hospitality elements. The servers took 45 minutes to deliver a luna cafe toast. The ice coffee tasted like water. Highly not recommended and will not be returning.
I have never been in side because it didn't seem welcoming, but my husband did purchase pastry the other night and they were awesome

They lowkey sell beer under the table and lied to us about it when we wanted alcohol. Our server took forever and wasn't wearing a mask. We waited over an hour for food that was mediocre. Cute as hell outdoor seating tho DON'T BE DECEIVED BY THE DECOR
the fettuccine Alfredo was extremely bland, the service was very slow and the staff was slacking off in the restaurant. The only good thing about it was the fries, they were actually very delicious the only reason why it deserved a 3 star review.
Menu has a lot of range, food is delicious, and staff's hospitality is incredible. Only downside would be waiting time depending on your order. My pizza took quite some time to be made but my Tiramisu and iced tea were ready in perfect timing.
Do not eat here. The Albanians running this place are so rude. Horrible customer service. Seems like they are racist, classist and sexist. Most likely this is a mob front judging by the custom sports cars parked out front and their attitudes
Awesome Albanian enclave of a restaurant. Between this and the coffee shop at the other end of Arthur Avenue you have the European relaxed feel along with authentic dishes such as the byrek which is pictured. This particular one is spinach
One of the best gelato in the area. Coffee is good too. They sell pastries, but the gelato is my favorite. Especially the hazelnut, banana nutella swirls, raspberry, and I cant just pick one. Yum. The staff are friendly. You can wash your
Cool spot for a quick bite. I used to live in the area but this time I just came to have some coffee and appetizers.

Never spending a dime in this place, was not busy and still it took them 30 minutes to come and give us the menus on top of that they brought my food and my wife food took another 30 minutes to come out, such unprofessional behavior
The service was great and the outdoor seating was very relaxing. However, the best part was the dishes and dessert I recommend this place to anyone.

Our server took 30 minutes to take our order. We waited over an hour to receive our food. They told us they didn’t sell alcohol. But then sold beer to the gentleman next to us. Too many other good choices IN This area.
worst experience ever. waited 90 minutes for food. then waiter said cook didn’t want to make a simple vegetarian wrap. lied about issues and then said down to o e cook. it’s not even italian on arthur ave. boy it them
My family and I enjoy this cafe. I've never tried any "real" food from here, but their coffees and spinach burek are very good. My kids love going here for gelato. There is indoor and outdoor seating available.
Luna makes best Albanian burgers. Great choice of food and delicious. Only issue is their place is not clean at all, especially the outdoor seating are full of Cigarettes on the floor.
Nice place to have a pannini and a salad and a coffee

The Bleu burger was great. Gotta try the "Strawberry Banana Chocolate Crepes". One warning: If you ask for water and pick still over sparkling they will give you a bottle of it.
Food was good, just didn't appreciate some of the smokers around me. They should have a smoking & non-smoking section. Hard to eat when your food taste like nicotine.
If you order a iced coffee. Iced latte. Iced cappuccino. Iced macchiato. Or any coffee with milk inside. They will all come out iced coffees with milk in this place.
Everything feels mediocre about this place, food too salty and the outside area is always filled with smokers

The menu is a strange selection of different things that don't really go together or make sense.
Excellent service. We ordered chicken parm hero and a salad. Both were great! Will be back!
