Bought a built-in washer dryer from here. They were the same price as the big chains, but: 1) The staff new exactly what they were talking about 2) Whereas Curry's told me my cupboard door would fit this machine, and everything would fit fine, Lynne's were aware of the door measurements and things and were able to tell me if my existing cupboard door would would fit over my new machine. 3) The appliance that was right for me did have the door screws in a different place, so - for just £40 extra - Lynne's took my cupboard door away, filled the old mounting holes and made new ones, and came back to fit the door. Had I used a big store, I would have paid the same for the machine & installation, but been left with a built in machine with a door that did not fit the machine, and would have had to find a carpenter to finish the job. Also the installers were very professional, punctual and friendly. This is a very good example of why local shops are better. I will now be buying ALL my white goods and electricals here, as the service level is excellent and they don't leave you high & dry. I'm really impressed with this shop.

Christine and Mark were a terrific help sourcing a new dishwasher as well as a direct replacement for my 15 year old integrated fridge-freezer, just when I thought I'd have to give up entirely as the cabinet size and fixed hinges made it very tricky to find a replacement that would fit. The whole team at Lynnes are lovely and really look after their customers - the ordering, delivery and installation went smoothly (both the old dishwasher and fridge-freezer were removed within 20min, and the install team took a lot of care to ensure the cabinet doors were fitted well - it wasn't easy with a hanging cabinet door too!) and I'd give more stars if I could. You won't get this level of professionalism or service with Curry's or AO and having a friendly, knowledgeable vendor takes all the stress out of the process. I have no doubt if I'd gone with a big chain store I'd have ordered an appliance that didn't fit and there would be a fridge-freezer sitting in the middle of my living room for weeks while a solution got worked up. I'll be sure to use Lynnes again for any home appliance purchases.

I've found my dream electrical store! So the belt on our dryer broke, and as a reasonably good 'DIYER' I thought I'd replace it myself. Ordered the belt on line, took the dryer apart, got the belt out and its the wrong size : ( Called loads of electrical stores to no avail, and was eventually rescued by Lynnes Electricals. They literally spent 20 plus minutes on the phone with me finding the obscure drive belt I needed. If that wasn't enough, they even hand delivered the belt to my house when it arrived, as I couldn't go and collect it as I have been quarantining after a holiday abroad. I recently bought a fridge freezer from Lynnes electrical and i am in love. It is so pretty. Lynnes electrical saved the day as i had bought a fridge freezer from another company (who shall not be named) and they refused to deliver my fridge freezer because i had stairs (i live in a flat), i was sooo upset. A massive thank you to the delivery drivers Aaron and Cyrus who carried my fridge freezer up the stairs with ease, i was so grateful. I was recommend to buy from Lynnes electrical by a friend and they have definitely lived up to their reputation, the customer service i received was amazing. I am so happy and i will be buying from them again and i will be recommending Lynnes electrical to everyone i know that needs new appliances :)

My father recommended me to this store. My dad bought a cooker here over 10 years ago and have been very pleased with his purchase. I was dubious about buying from a smaller retailer, but decided to pay then a visit. All the staffs were very friendly and their knowledge on the product were spot on. I was served by Mark on one day and James on another and they both gave great advice. What I also appreciated was that they were not pushy salesman, but gave me various options and allowed me to make my own choices. Quality service from sales, delivery to installation. I would have certainly pay an ever higher price for my product because the services that I received was second to none.

I highly recommend Lynnes. I bought some large items from them and I have to say the customer service is second none. They are a great team and Mark gave me superb advice on what to buy. He was very patient and explained everything really well. There were ongoing issues with the washer dryer I bought but Mark stepped in and the whole thing was resolved brilliantly and I now have the upgraded model and was compensated by the manufacturer for the inconvenience!!. I don't know of any other retailer that would go above and beyond to help their customers like this. Although I've moved out of the area they are my go to store for anything electrical.

Lynnes Electrical is, like all their reviews confirm, a truly wonderful shop/service with good old fashioned friendly and professional values, sadly now from a bygone era for most retailers/service providers. How wonderful they stand out providing us with our most precious "white" goods and necessary appliances such as boilers - the latter being investigated and fitted in a house in just over 24 hours from first calling the cool, calm and collected Mark! Their service is exceptional and prices extremely competitive. Will I ever use "never knowingly undersold" that usual stalwart retailer of mine again? Unlikely!

My washing machine broke down & initially I thought I would look online. But as I was walking down Walworth Road, Lynnes Electrical caught my eye. I walked in & Christine advised me on the different washing machines on offer. I chose & paid for one. Within 2 days the engineers brought and installed my new machine. Despite the fitting of the machine being awkward (due to not much space) the engineers just went ahead and sorted out the issue in a efficient & friendly manner. I would highly recommend paying this shop a visit before looking online they give excellent & economical service.

I purchased a washing machine from here. Very competitive price after doing a lot of shopping around, to which I had delivered and installed. I can't remember the chaps name who came to install this but was very helpful and polite. I do remember the sales woman though Christine, superb service. Went well above and beyond to ensure I got the best service. Washing machine also does what it says... I have clean cloths. Thanks again.

I would give 10 stars for service if I could. Mark worked hard to meet my needs with delivery and installation of appliances in less that straight forward circumstances. When faced with an unexpected issue with installing one appliance, he got in touch to discuss the options before proceeding. I don't think the "personal touch" of dealing with a local bricks-and-mortar business can be matched by any of the online superstores.

Needed to buy a washing machine urgently. Phoned Lynne's Electrical and spoke with Christine. She advised price for machine, delivery and installation. I called at the shop completed the deal and Christine advised it would be delivered and fitted between 11am - 1pm. Prompt delivery around 12. Excellent service from a local establishment. Take a good look at the other low reviews because this is the real face of Lynnes. Poor customer service, rude staff, an early morning delivery that didn't arrive until mid afternoon, overpriced goods with extra charges added on later. Only positive thing I can say was the delivery guys were professional and friendly everything else I experienced was of a low standard .

Amazing experience. Today we have purchased a tumble dryer and Mark and his colleagues were extremely helpful and knowledgeable After explaining what we need he took great care and understood our specific needs. I called in Thursday, trying to find a tall larder fridge, as my current fridge was on its way out. The young lady in the shop, went above & beyond to help find a fridge which would suit my needs. I have been shopping at Lynne’s for nearly 50 years. I have bought all my electrical items from here, from toasters to televisions, cookers to washing machines, great. It is a family business and I have never had any problems with their sales and service. This s a great place to shop and I hope it’s still here for the next 50 years.

Mark's help was invaluable in identifying a replacement for an obsolete cooker hood (the only one on the market that was suitable), sourcing it for us overnight and advising us to get a kitchen fitter who could do carpentry as well. We are very grateful for the time he invested in helping us to find a solution.

Went to Lynne's to order a new Hotpoint cooker. The price including delivery and installation was very competitive and customer service was absolutely cracking. Everyone was really friendly and turned up exactly when they said they would. I'd definitely purchase white goods from these guys again.

I couldn't get the online checkout working so I called up and talked to a lady with a lovely phone manner. My fridge was delivered two days later at the time promised. The delivery team was also very personable. Much better than dealing with Argos! Would recommend and would deal with again.

Fantastic service from the team from start to finish. I needed a replacement oven for my flat and they delivered a Bosch oven very quickly. It was installed by the fitters within 24hrs of ordering. 100% recommend their service much better than dealing with a faceless large organisation.

Mike Lynne and his team were extremely helpful and professional. I went in with some non-standard requirements for washing machines and dryers, and they advised me clearly on the best models for me. If you need white goods (TVs, washers, dryers, etc) definitely check these guys out.

Its great to know you can still call a shop and get help immediately. I called Christine for help with a tenant's dishwasher and she sorted out an engineer for me. No stress and no long wait for a slot. They are always helpful and good prices for all household goods.

Christmas was in jeopardy when our oven stopped heating on Christmas Eve - but Mark was so helpful and arranged a same-day removal of the old oven and installation of a new one. Plus both the guys who did the removal and fitting were great.

Friendly Service . But beware gas cookers buyers of the gas installation charge this is only a standard charge like supplying a new gas hose and bayonet and connect. if they have to do any pipe work they will sting you for a extra cost.
