MS Mandi & Shawarma restaurant in Purani Haveli was temporarily shut down by the GHMC after 19 people who consumed chicken at the eatery fell ill and had to be admitted to a Nallakunta hospital. The action came after one of the victims, Sheik Shoeb, 24, filed a complaint with the police. In his complaint, Shoeb said he and a friend, Arbaz Khan, both residents of Yakutpura, had ordered the ‘chicken mandi’ dish on November 16, following which he suffered severe stomach ache coupled with nausea the next day. He was admitted to a private hospital and diagnosed with food poisoning. R. Ravinder, inspector of Mir Chowk Police Station, where the complaint was lodged, said: "We are getting several complaints about food poisoning and we are taking appropriate action, in coordination with the GHMC’s food safety wing." Advertisement GHMC officials said they inspected the eatery based on the police complaint. "We have sent seven food samples to the State Food Laboratory in Nacharam, which include the ‘chicken mandi’ and ‘eggless mayonnaise’ dishes. Further action will be taken based on the reports," said Shiraaz, GHMC’s food safety officer for the Falaknuma circle. Another GHMC official, who visited the eatery, said the fridge and a portion of the kitchen were found to be unhygienic. "The chicken used in ‘mandi’ was not stale, but we found the fridge and a portion of the kitchen in an unhygienic condition," the GHMC official said. Following the inspection, officials instructed the management of the commercial establishment to shut shop and reopen only after fixing the issues pointed out

30 Suffer Food Poisoning At Old City Eatery Hyderabad: At least 30 people, including 12 from the same family, fell ill allegedly due to food poisoning after a meal at a mandi restaurant in Dabeerpura. The condition of one is said to be serious. The incident, according to officials from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), took place on Thursday. “We have also collected food samples from there and sent them to the lab for examination. The results should be available in the next 15 days,” said Sudarshan Reddy, designated food safety officer for south zone. The official added: “Based on the results we will book a case and/or impose a fine against the hotel.” Shiraaz Ahmed, food safety officer, Charminar circle said that based on the complaints reported in My GHMC app and also local media, they swung into action. “Complaints say that after having food from MS Mandi on Thursday, they had vomiting and motions on Friday. And on Saturday, we inspected their kitchen, store and collected suspected samples and asked them to close the hotel,” he said. He said that about 19 persons who had food infection were admitted in Koranti hospital. “We will issue notices to the hotel management on Monday,” he said.

I recently ordered food from Zomato from MS Mandi and Shawarma and was extremely disappointed with my experience. To start, the chicken wrap that I ordered had a very bad smell that made it almost impossible to even try, the chicken inside smelled very bad, like it was spoilt. The fries that came with my meal were also a major disappointment. They were stale and lacked any kind of flavor, they looked like they were sitting there for hours, they put too much salt on the fries probably to mask the stale taste. But perhaps the worst part of my meal was the fried chicken. The outside batter was rock hard and inedible, and the meat inside was dry and overcooked. It was clear that the chicken had been sitting out for quite some time before it was packed and sent to me. Overall, I will never order from this restaurant again, big mistake, wish I could get my money back, what a waste of time and money.

Taste is like a life in any food you eat and every restaurant offers a different taste to a same dish, if you try a Arab and Lebanese cuisine at Spice 6 Villagio I may like the taste there and if someone tries at MS Mandi the person gives a higher rating, no chef or restaurant can give a 10 out 10 but they try to reach 6 or 7 and in certain rare conditions reach 8 out of 10.Conclusion : You won't be disappointed at MS Mandi but try to interact with staff and explain them your taste buds , expectations out of a dish you order.

Assalamu alaikum, for those who are planning to go "ms mandi house" In dabeelpura i request you all please don't go it is really worst experience with this mandi house they are really worst serving people are suffering from food poison has been admitted to koranti hospital they are more then 50 members in koranti including my family members and others are in different private hospital its been week they are still in hospital the patients didn't recover yet please again I request you all not to eat in such restaurant where the cooking system is careless and kitchen unhygienic (unhygienic means they didn't cleaning up the kitchen and you'll get to find bugs, rats and other unhygienic dishes which they are using) so be careful with your and your family health

It was worst experience with ms mandi dabeelpura.....they are so careless and cooking unhygienic, the horrific incident took place on 17 November 2023 in which more than 50+ people are suffering from food poisoning and admitted in koranti hospital number of people and different family has become the victim of this horrible incident including pregnant ladies, who has been shifted to private maternity hospital as the situation was really critical, and elderly people who has been shifted to osmania hospital on ventilator......i request you all to boycott this ms mandi house be safe don't become the victims of this incident, it been 1 week they are still in hospital stay alert!!be safe thank you❤

Honestly speaking the hype which was created on social media looks like it is tampered and manipulated. The guy at the counter is not a active listener and has not suggested me to eat something. Though I opted for a regular chicken wrap, I was amazed after seeing it. It is a first copy of Al rabea wrap in appearance but not in taste. The taste was just ok ok not that good as they mentioned in thier Influencers promotions. The quality of chicken is not much. I hope they will improve this and will also take care of the hospitality.

Nice place to have a get together with ur friends, good quality of food and nice quantity of rice , meat wasn't well cooked, but the chicken and fish was amazing, fish was my personal favourite. Soup is also served as soon u enter which is also good , water is served in copper jugs and glasses for that royalty feel. Service is extremely good. Both arrangements available eating in Saudi style or on table, But there is waiting for the family section. Little parking problem for cars.

It was my worst decision to visit here. It turned a nightmare for me and my friends. We ordered Mixed Mandi which cost ₹989/-, after eating that mandi all 4 of us suffering from food poisoning. Vomitings and loose motions. We called to inform them that after eating there mandi we fell I'll and they are telling, " aaplog k jaise 1000 log aakar khaye sirf aaplog ko kyun hua ".. I don't see any point in proving them how and why it happened.. just be careful while visiting

Not a big fan of their mandi. I mean it is 3.9/5 but I absolutely loved their Turkish Boti and Malai Paya with butter naan absolutely 5/5. It became my all time favorite. I've been visiting there since few months now and I've been trying the same dish and it is always amazing as it tastes all the time.

I recently ordered a chicken zinger wrap from M.S Mandi & Shawarma, and it was simply divine. The wrap was delicious and flavourful, and the chicken was cooked to perfection. On top of that, the restaurant has a separate section for family and friends which made it a more pleasant experience. Highly recommended!

I ordered food from here. The chicken twisters were very delicious. The peri peri fries were great in taste too. Chicken popcorn is mouthwatering. Go ahead and order food from here. I recommend not to go because it is fully unhygienic and the food is very cheap , they use chicken which gives you a bad smell, The ambiance is very good with AC.

Mandi & soup was tasty but not served hot. Service was good but place is little conjusted in family section No icecream and juices for kids
