update****Macs called me to discuss the issue and refunded the $60 for the second step, not bad move, responsive to the problem, cheers! We did service in Macs, After a few days I found my AC is not working, so I went back there to check it out. They said need $90 to run the diagnostic, and the conclusion is the AC switch is not working, and they could not find a new 2nd hand piece to replace it( my car has a bit age), so I bought one on eBay, they put it in. And the conclusion is the 2nd one is broken as well, so I need to consider to buy a new one from Japan. Here I m not sure they did electric check on the unit whether it’s really broken or not. I returned this AC unit, as they took this one out and put my original one in, they charged $60. My husband put the 3rd unit that we found, same problem! So it is not the unit, there is something else. Macs wouldn’t admit it, and tell me to go to other if I don’t trust them. It’s not logical to ask others to keep buying the new unit as it showed it’s not the problem. No accountability, not friendly, never admit it. Each time I try to communicate, all I got is if you want to check, it’s another issue, you need to pay extra$. Money first! Finally we got it right in another mechanic, it’s the heater resistor not working! And all fixed now! Would not recommend to anyone!

This is a long term review. I had my van fixed at this place nearly two years ago. It took almost almost two months to get the van fixed. Right after that, there were damaged rubber seal not replaced, rear window wiper not installed correctly, paint job not even, big shoe print on the side of rear door panel, visible gap in the corner, massive dust all over the interior of the van. I had to buy new carpet to reline the back of the van. So I have to send the van back in again to fix their own works. Fast forward to today. After nearly two years. The rear door hinges started to rust. The rear window is leaking water occasionally. The rear bump they replaced is not genuine Toyota product and now there is a severe discolouration compare to front bumper !!!!! If you still want to use or resale your vehicle after a accident. Don’t get them fixed here.

Excellent service, very punctual, thorough and most importantly not pushy to sell their services or products to get car fixed. They provide detailed report and also explains what has been done in the car and what is required. Gives fair idea of pricing and criticality and then leaves decision on you. Beside this, the place is very clean, plenty of parking and also have a couple of cafes right opposite to it that helps in case one need to have coffee or food. There is also an indian restaurant which is great for those want to try indian food. Overall, great experience, qualified staff, well equiped and clean workshop, nice sitting area and convenient location.

STANDARD CAR SERVICE - i just had my honda crv serviced by these guys and when i collected it, the engine was not starting. apparently, they have been using the battery w/out the engine on for 10mins!!! of course that is way too long it drained the battery and went flat. i know my battery is not new but it is not at the point where it will not start. also, they could've changed the gasket now instead of me having to come back again for another service just to change the gasket. if this is the 'taste' of what it is like to use this shop it is not a very good 1st experience.

Reliable and trustworthy. Got servicing done at Toyota Werribee and was having issues with car oil leakage after few months. MACS Truganina looked at it for me and advise me regarding the issue that they found and if I want to check it with my servicing company if they will still cover it. I can say that they provided me with better customer service compare to what Werribee Toyota did. Did not charge to have a look. You guys have definitely earned a customer that will come back for my future servicing and other car related issues. Thank you once again.

We had a roadworthy done here and things went smoothly. Unfortunately our Baleno didn't pass the roadworthy at another service centre in Warrnambool, so we had to get the radiator changed at Suzuki in Hoppers Crossing, under warranty, and sadly Suzuki took 2 weeks and 1 day to install it, so we had to go to MACS due to the 2 week cut off. MACS were professional and had the roadworthy done by 1pm, even though I was told it would be done closer to 5pm. They seem very busy and have alot of business so best to book in early.

I had a car breakdown few months ago and went around enquiring for the best quotes available for car servicing and repair. I came across Macs Automotive and Repair who gave me a genuine quote and on finalising the booking, they were courteous enough to come and pick up the vehicle and then get it repaired within the mentioned delivery time. I am now a regular customer of Macs Automotive and they never disappoint me with their expertise in dealing with the vehicle servicing.

Went their to claim a Groupon voucher, overall it was an okay experience. I was told it might take 2.5 hours for oil change and aircon gas refill but the job was done in an hour. Not sure if all the work was completed or the original estimate was wrong by 1.5 hours. The waiting office is very low key, no water, coffee or toilets. They generally don't use full synthetic oil you would have to request them for it which comes at an extra cost.

Absolutely Disgusting and unprofessional, I booked an appointment for 11:30 am and they ruined my whole day. I booked my car for a regular service and a fully check of all relevant points. The appointment was at 11:30 am. But till 3 pm, they even didn't touch the car. Very rude and unprofessional. At 3 pm, he said you can take your car without service. Never take your car to Mac's Automotive

Unprofessional and very poor service. Don’t waste your time here. They don’t really take care of your car. They always not able to complete the service on the same day and would ask you to come back again and again without getting things done properly. My transmission was broken because they skipped and didn’t service it and didn’t tell me about it. Service your car here at your own risk.

My two cars had minor logbook service done in one day. I went with the promotion of comprehensive care including synthetic oil, car wash & vaccum, free dash cam + reserse cam and other engine flushes. They even checked brake fluid. One has 2% of water. Another car was very bad and got replaced. Excellent work. It would be better if they can move the location closer to residential area.

MACS boys have just done a great job! I had my car in last weekend for a major service, extremely happy with their service, afterhours drop off service just to keep their promise with same day return. Absolutely happy with the result! BTW, I have done pricing comparison beforehand, it is definitely No.1 value for money local workshop you can find!!!

Absolutely disgusting, baiting with car service for $39 on groupon but then want to charge $80 extra ( %200) because the car is a diesel. I do understand that sometimes there is a surcharge but this a whole new level. Not sure how a simple car service with only oil and filter replacement plus inspection can be valued at $260

Amazing service and price wise are very competitive. Got my tyres done. My dealer said the brakes and tyres need to be done right away. I went to MACS for tyres alone. They noticed the brakes as well but instead of trying to sell me the brakes, he said they’ve still good. Highly recommend, fast and very honest service.

I took my Ford Territory for a service, they did a great job. They let me know what was needed to be done and their quote was reasonable and I had my car ready to go within the day. The mechanic knew his stuff and overall they delivered a professional service. I’d definitely go back.

Long story short. I spent$ 800 here and they didn't fix my car's DPF warning message, they said that re-gen failed. MACS quoted another 1200$ to continue. I went to another place and they charged 350$ only by re-gen and clearing the warning message.
