I’ve been wanting to come here for a while and see the customer service as well as food, so if you’re wondering whether to try, read along~ -The beef Iskender was so delicious as it had roasting peppers with a rich tomato sauce and yogurt side. The bottom of the beef had potatoes as well. This was one of the softest cuts of beef I have ever had. I also got a side of bread, the Turkish style pita bread was so soft and warm, with lots of flavor. -The chicken curry was pretty okay. The curry flavor was good. But it felt as though the curry and the chicken were separate. Like they did not marinate it long enough so the chicken did not have enough flavor inside. The salad side was so tasty, the dressing was so versatile yet so tasty. -The honey cake was very very GOOD. It was 8 dollars I believe, but it was just perfect. The dark syrup on top was a perfect compliment to the crunchy layers of the honey cake. This is similar to Russian honey cake. -Last, I am going to speak about the customer service. I had a male server who was Turkish and tall with a name starting with the letter M. He was very attentive and made sure we had a good time. He knew about the products and was able to help us a lot with deciding what to get. The price is a bit expensive and the portions were relatively small for what you pay. But it was worth the experience. Everything that I said until now would make it a 5 ⭐️for me, but one thing made me not want to give it a 5 star. And that is the fact that the managers/employees can be seen walking in and out during service hours eating their food and smoking. They smoke outside for a bit then come inside smelling like ciggerates. And their Turkish tea cups are seen by the door. It is not a pleasant sight and something should be don’t about it. Nobody wants to be in a warm restaurant which smells fantastic when there is a whiff of nicotine and a cold breeze every 5 minutes. Like come on… it’s a restaurant NOT a bar.

I visited Mado Square One after having a positive brunch experience at Mado Dufferin. However, my experience here was quite disappointing. The staff took our order after an incredibly long wait. We asked to start off with a Jug of Lemonade and we’re told it’s on its way. After 10-15 minutes, we inquired about our drinks only to be told that there’s no Lemonade. When we tried to place a substitute order for our drinks with another server, he told us that Lemonade is available and he’ll bring it out. Another 15 minutes later we were told Lemonade is in fact out. This issue could’ve been resolved by having one server stationed in a particular zone. When our food finally arrived, the dishes tasted dry and bland with the exception of the Chicken Lavash. The Crispy Manti was overpriced for the quantity and the quality- it was hard to bite into and I couldn’t eat more than a few bites. The Mado Burger was also lacklustre and nothing to write home about. We moved on to dessert with higher hopes. The Finger Ice Cream was decent, it was easy and fun to eat although it didn’t have particularly strong flavour to it. The texture of the Pistachio Ice Cream was not creamy at all and it was a struggle to get ahold of. The Mini Cake with Chocolate Pistachio was by far the most underwhelming because it was entirely dry despite being a sponge cake. It was utterly bland and was difficult to finish. If you’re visiting Mado, I’d recommend sticking to their Breakfast Platters. I hope their service and taste will improve otherwise.

Went earlier this year and always passed by and wanted to try but never got around to it. When we finally did try it, the food was delish! The bakery/desserts had me drooling and wanted to try all the ice cream too! Ended up getting the lunch special fettuccine Alfredo..nothing too special but a good deal. The handmade manti was nice and super cute little bite sized pieces with the sauce and yogurt - perfect for our little girls. The gozleme with beef was surprisingly delicious. A crispy pancake with a well seasoned beef filling, so addictive. Anf what's a meal here without some turkish coffee! The food was super tasty and I would love to go back to try more things but the price point is a bit on the high end, considering portions are quite small. Wouldn't eat here everyday but def worth trying at least once. And of course I had to get some turkish delight and baklava to go! So many flavours of TD, I got some of almost everything (my favourites are the Oreo, hazelnut-chocolate and black current ones!) as well as 2 pieces of baklava. Worth it to try the variety of Turkish delights but at $4.50/slice (about 2×2in square) I wouldn't recommend getting the baklava. Otherwise, such a good place to eat!

Hidden Gem! Lovely Ambience. I'd have given 5 stars instead of 4, had my Grilled Salmon not been rushed despite requesting to serve it last. What was amazing : 1. Emre (hope i got the name right) was our server & he was excellent by all means. Courteous & attended to us well. 2. Food was quite good. Impressive. 3. Ambience was classy. Upscale. 4. Reception Staff & Servers, both were well-trained in guest handling 5. Getting a table was hassle-free What could be better : 1. Our chair before occupying had food spilled over so we has to ask for help. The staff immediately helped us. 2. Our table was too small for multiple dishes. We had to adjust few times. Next time it has to be a bigger table. 3. Sequence of food served was not as per the preference we shared while placing our order. All said & done, I don't mind visiting this branch of MADO again - MADO Square One, Mississauga, Toronto, Canada. Food & Service, both are better than many other restaurants.

First time guest here and came here with a friend. The only thing I can rave about is the overall atmosphere. The restaurant is an enjoyable place to spend time -- decor, seating arrangement & the presentation of food is unique. The restaurant has potential to improve with it's service. Where MADO lacks: 1. Greeting upon arrival & departure: Was not greeted until after 7 min waiting despite the hostess being onsite. Hostess assumed I did not have a reservation until I informed her. When leaving the restaurant, no friendly departure just glares. 2. Waiter: Polite gentleman but once food arrived, the waiter was nearly non-existent. No offers of refilling waters (had to go out of my way to ask) or check on my dining experience. I understand restaurants have "peak periods" and can get busy however other waiters managed to be attentive to their tables unlike mine. 3. Food - Ordered the appetizer platter which came with 4 dipping sauces and 1 bread for $24.99. Was under the impression the dish could feed two. If I had known there was only 1 bread provided, I likely would not have ordered -- the dish is WAY overpriced. Overall, would not be coming back nor recommend.

I went here for the first time today and it will be my last. Overall, Mado staff is notably not welcoming or timely. Just pass by and you’ll see. The host was not friendly or personable. The server took a long time to do basic things in serving like say hi and take our order. They didn’t ask how the food was or check up on us. We were waiting so long to order we wanted to leave and I had to go up to the server to tell them we’re ready. We didn’t get our drinks. The vibe is just off with staff, they’re friendly with each other but I didn’t feel that. It was just awkward seeing my server standing around or talking to other servers or checking their tablet instead of checking up on us. There was alo a big party and any attention was given to them. Management needs to do a better job supporting staff on basic serving standards. If you are looking for a place with a friendly staff and a strong grasp of serving, go elsewhere. Sorry, I usually don’t do this and not trying to be malicious, but wanted to just provide constructive feedback for a particularly disappointing visit. Word gets around and others simply just don’t come back.

I came to eat a late lunch with a coworker, and this spot doesn’t disappoint. Wasn’t sure what to expect because many spots look nice but doesn’t mean the foods necessarily great, but it was! The waiter was so welcoming and attentive, we scanned the QR code for the menu, I ordered the Chicken Lavash which is a chicken wrap, with fries and salad which was so delicious the chicken was the perfect level of juiciness, and the fries were as crunchy as I like them the salad came with a light vinegar like dressing. Then I ordered mint & lemon tea and it came with this complimentary sweet which was such a sweet touch plus the way it was presented and the flavours tasted so fresh, they must use organic herbs for it to taste as good as it did This spot is not only beautiful, but delicious with an amazing team. Definitely need to come back soon to try more of their pastries as well

A little overpriced imo, but in Turkey they are also on the pricier side. We came only for desserts as we already had dinner at home that day. Was glad that they were able to find us a table (called to reserve) despite being a last minute call. Service was a little slow (to get our orders and bill in), but overall to get the desserts, it was rather quick. Our server was new so had to go back and forth to check with the chef what's available. I'd suggest it looks more professional/better to write it down and keep track of it that way or have it put on the system so that servers don't need to go back and forth to check what's available and what's not available. Most of the desserts we wanted were not available, so we got something else. Overall, found the ice cream very good and all the desserts we got were good. The cheese roll was also good but it was mostly pastry and not enough cheese. Nice interiors and lots of options to choose from in terms of food.

Very nice interior decoration. Service was excellent and the server was friendly and attentive. Food also came out quick and hot. Food taste was also very good. Just remember that it's in square one mall so expect it to be pricey and it was. We were party of six and each paid about $55 plus tax for main meal and non alcoholic drink. Food portions are on the small side and not all deserts were available. Gratuity was automatically included in the bill for party of six. Still, if you want to experience Turkish cuisine, I recommend this place.

Good food, good atmosphere, super expensive. Located inside square one mall, this is quite a large place which is usually packed on weekends. The breakfast service was quick. Eggs were nice & orange juice was excellent. They have a large menu with plenty of starters, main courses, desserts & drinks. If you have money to spend & want a nice & calm atmosphere then this is a nice place to visit once in a while. P.S: The place seems overwhelming but you can just go in for a cup of coffee or get some sweets. Though $7 for a little cup of coffee is a bit too much.

MADO is a fantastic Turkish ice cream shop located in Square One Mall. Their ice cream is incredibly creamy and flavorful, with a wide variety of unique and traditional flavors to choose from. The staff is friendly and the service is top-notch; my server Atesh was so kind, he was attentive to our needs, ensuring we comfortable and enjoying our dining experience. The host and hostess were welcoming, and kind. I was greeted with a warm smile which made me feel welcome from the moment I stepped through the door. Whether you're a fan of classic flavors or want to try something new, MADO is definitely worth a visit. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

I recently visited MADO - Square ONE, and I must say it's one of the best Turkish restaurants in Mississauga. The ambiance is warm and inviting, and the staff is friendly and attentive. The menu offers a wide range of savory and sweet plates, each bursting with flavors and made with high-quality ingredients. Although the prices are on the higher side, the quality of food and service more than justifies it. I highly recommend trying their signature dishes, such as the lamb chops and baklava. The portions are generous and perfect for sharing with friends or family. Overall, MADO - Square ONE is a must-visit for anyone looking for a delicious Turkish meal in Mississauga. Despite the cost, I think it's worth the splurge for a special occasion or a treat-yourself day. Four stars!
Ordered one main and pasta food arrived timely. Curry chicken & chicken rigatoni got a coke and baklava total bill was $73.42 before tip. Ates our server was nice and polite it was pretty busy so at times others also had to serve our table like the drink was supposed to come with food but it didnt so i asked for it again and someone else brought it. He also took pictures for us. Place is done up nice music is not loud its a good spot. Definitely a good option to hang out while you grab a bite in a nice environment close proximity to a mall lol so you can shop after ahah I would come back again.

Good place for a giant mall. I enjoyed the food: beef wrap was quality, fresh ingredients, quite big portion. Reminded mexican fahitas Assorted starters was a good opener: set of adjica, babaganush, humus and tsadziki, accompanied with freshly baked lavash. It's for amateur of such kind of food, I liked humus most ;) Dessert Kunafah - a bit tatty for me, but no question from quality standpoint - hot, fresh, cheesy, crunchy, sweety My friends had chicken wrap - it was also good Mini - manti 3/5. For the amateurs. Kudos to the staff - welcoming and charming

They had a child seat. The kid menu proportions were enough. The staff were really nice about messes kids make as well.
Went to lunch with my fiancé. Place was large and had a ton of seating! It was pretty busy for a Saturday at 1:30pm, and was steady throughout the lunch hour. Our server Bahadir was awesome as well! Despite it being busy, he was very attentive and quick. Food was AMAZING. So tasty, and so much to choose from! It was definitely hard to pick from the menu since everything looked so great. Everything we ordered was well seasoned and satisfying. A bit pricey, but it's worth it for the quality and quantity of food you get. Would definitely come back to try different things!

Only went for a sweet treat and drink but wow I was impressed. Great service, super friendly with some good recommendations. Had the tres leche cake which was delicious and moist, and had the cocoa biscuit smoothie. I liked it because it wasnt too sweet, just the right level to accompany my dessert. Beautifully presented. It came with a complimentary piece of Turkish Delight which was to die for. Cute atmosphere, pretty lighting and nice music (kinda ambient cafe ibiza style) tunes- making it a really nice meet up spot to catch up with my gf.

The main course are not worth at all it was really expensive and food was not even satisfying. We ordered Chicken Schnitzel and Celtic Chicken, Schnitzel was really dry and they did not serve it with sauce i have tried same thing in Downtown branch it was much better than what we had here. I visited this place expecting same service and food that i had in downtown but my experience was really disappointing, I would not recommend this place for Main course desserts are good and worth trying. We paid more than $100 for 2 main course 1 dessert and 2 drinks (one of which was just pop),

I had a wonderful time at MADO restaurant. The meal was truly enjoyable. We were seated in a cozy booth, so It wasn’t very loud and the ambiance was great. The service was excellent throughout our visit. Our server went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. I couldn't resist trying the ice cream sandwiched between a moist homemade chocolate cake, paired with an americano. It was absolutely fantastic - quick, delicious and very filling. Love the Cappuccino! It comes with a little pastry/ dessert. I'm not a fan of the wet cake. I ordered it to try it out but this is most likely the last time. It has a pudding texture or oatmeal. Beautiful place. Delights were great. But desserts from the menu not so much - chocolate cake didn’t taste like chocolate at all. It’s nice idea to serve a little piece of delight with tea, so that’s a great way to taste something before a thinly buying it in bigger quantity. Service was good, atmosphere nice, so most likely I’d come back for more delights, but stay away from plated desserts.

A slightly expensive place for a quick bite while shopping in square one. Feel good that all the servers are attentive and well trained. Food are good quality ingredients, menu somewhat more North American than exotic traditional turkey cuisine. Pistachios and honey are two major in all sweets, eat alone is too sweet but well matched with the strong bitter taste of a good cup of turkeyish coffee.

I would give a 3.5 for this because the food is so so but is very nice to have it inside the mall instead of the regular food court. I love the decor of this place. The food is pretty good but didn't wow me. I love their presentation and a treat when you order a drink. Lastly, I love their Turkish delight - not so sweet and the jelly part is so yummy and the texture is just right. I would try more next time.

Mado is great as always. I love the constancy of their food and desserts. I gave the 4 starts for 2 reasons. Turkish coffee wasn't the best, l had a better one at the same location before. Secondly, the servers brought our orders to wrong table twice. It's not a huge deal in a busy day like New year day(day l visited), but still not a great thing to happen.

Best Turkish Coffee, ask for my friend Gokhan. The coffee and tea always comes with the treat made from pomegranate and pistachio..the best, and very reasonably priced. In the month of Ramadan, they are open all night, from the outside entrance:

My first time trying Turkish coffee here. A+ service, 3 servers individually acknowledged me and went out of their way just at reception. Barista kindly offered complimentary seconds. Halwa that comes with coffee is a work of art. This is an A+ dining experience, a model for all the other coffee shops in Toronto

Don't order the Celtic Kebab. Quite a disappointment. Does not match description at all. It's cheap slices of beef and French fries thrown into a watery sauce. This is what 32 bucks gets you. See pics. Slow Service. Server was polite.

Amazing experience. The food was tasty and desserts were delicious. The staff are so friendly, especially Mariam. She's very helpful and nice. I just think the food is a little overpriced.

Tasteless coffee ever, their special coffee tastes like slop (I don't know how even it’s possible to make the coffee so bad in the size of 2 tablespoons). The dessert was old and tired. They forgot to bring me part of my order.

food is just ok. Friendly stuff. Good reception. Food came quickly. Turkish coffee is delicious. Prefect coffee/water ratio which is always hard to find especially if you are coffee fan. Washrooms no toilet paper and only 1 out of 3 is still working. the ambiance is alright.

Ridiculously good food! Fast service too. Everything was tasty. We tried the Grand Breakfast and it was full of flavours. Turkish coffee and the ice cream were ON POINT. Honestly everything was so good that we were just trying different foods to see if we can find anything that’s not good

We went for dessert and beverages at Mado, Square one. The ambience is amazing. It gives you Turkish vibes. The service was quick and great. The desserts were a bit too sweet but that’s how desserts are supposed to be. We didn’t have a reservation but we got seated quickly. It was pretty crowded as it was Friday evening.
Classy cafeteria/restaurant located near starbucks in square one mall. Their food is fresh and subtle. The service and hospitality is swift. Their desserts are a must-try!

My go to place for coffee and chats with my friends. Every time I go I try something new. The staff is good and polite however some walk past don’t check if the customer wants anything. Overall a good experience will come back soon.
