After phoning two other local companies and being quoted an exorbitant amount to do a relatively small job, even for New Year's Day, Matt could not have been more helpful, professional and exceedingly well priced. I was expecting some resistance especially after my experience with the last two calls but his friendliness and understanding far exceeded any expectations. He promised an approximate time and kept us up to date on when he would arrive. I cheekily asked him to do another couple of small jobs and without hesitation and without extra cost he did. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants a very professional job completed and at an affordable cost. Matt comes "highly" recommended.

I called Matt from MCL Electrical to supply and install a sensor light at the front of my house. After doing the usual ring around for three quotes I found myself being offered several reasonably price options by Matt whereas I was brushed off by others. His trade knowledge and experience was quiet clear after just a phone call. I felt confident in having him work on my home. Matt completed the works on time and to an extremely high standard, he cleaned up once he was finished and fully explained the operation of the new light and its features. I rang Matt from Brisbane after receiving a call from my daughter in SA on a Saturday morning in a panic , informing me of a burnt out outlet and loss of power to our house ( plus having a family pet rushed to the vet). When i first phoned some electricians, none of them were available for atleast a week. Surprisingly, Bradlee and Isaiah came and finished the job in no time. They did quite a bit of work around our home like upgrading all the switches and their job was impeccable. They even proactively made some excellent suggestions around our home which we readily accepted. They handled some of the tricky jobs with ease and that reflects on their adept workmanship. Very accurate, skilled, punctual, reliable, smart and tidy gentlemen. They clean up afterwards which was a pleasant surprise. 100% recommended!

Amazing service and five star workmanship. Always arrives on time and the quality of work is always spot on. Have had Matt out on serveral occasions for all kinds of work from small electrical jobs to complete rewire due to some very dodgy work that had been done in the past. Always happy to hand over hard earned $ to pay for quality work but have never felt overcharged for any work matt has done on our place. Knowing the family is safe having the work done properly is why we call mcl back for our electrical work and will continue to in the future.

There are many people that are good at their Job but Matt is a practitioner. His diagnostic capability out stripped his competition as I had a previous electrician quote me for two people for an unspecified time.... Matt, on the other hand, was methodical in his approach and achieved results by himself in a surprisingly short amount of time. He rewired my complete Board, replaced old technology with independent safety switches and provided sound judgement on a solution. He is a Problem Fixer not a Problem Maker. I would not hesitate to recommend.

Unfortunately my experience is completely different to other reviewers. Matt was contracted to perform some work for me through a builder who was doing an new patio. He laid the electrical wires through the roof space as requested however a rewire was recommended prior to the installation of some components and I attempted to get a quote from him for this work to enable the completion and I never heard from him again. Disappointed and would not re use. Had to get another electrician to complete the rewire and finish the connection.

He arrived the following day on time, fixing the problems with ease. He explained the new system well. I would recommend this company for their staff and excellent service. Matt installed a new sauna heater and made the whole process seem effortless. This was despite some incorrect info given by the supplier.
