I was originally told that it would be £80 for a call out, they had good reviews and they could do it next day so I went with them. The plumber came round and he was friendly and I’m sure this won’t be his fault but he told me there was in fact noise coming from under the bath which is why I called up…and that a pipe was most likely leaking but he couldn’t tell me more as it was under concrete. He took some photos of under the bath and said he would speak to his boss. I was then told his boss would come round in 4 days ( including a weekend) later to do more investigation and give me a quote for the works. The weekend passes whilst this leak continues I then receive a phone call later this afternoon cancelling saying that the boss will not be coming round to look and give me a quote as they don’t have any availability till after Christmas, obviously not being able to leave the leak till then. And then let me know that the price they gave me quoting £80 wasn’t including vat. So now I am left with a leak that has been going on for an extra 4 days now and all I have been told is yes there is a noise coming from under the bath! In times like these its really soul crushing to be spending £100 for literally nothing to be done.

Not impressed at all by the quality of work and attention to the client. Just a waste of time and money, certainly will not contact again nor recommend. We simply needed to replace an old lead pipe with a new mdpe pipe for our water mains as it was blocking any renovation work in all areas of the property this was running through. The approach to conduct the work was pre-agreed with the water supply. After a couple of missed viewings where nobody turned up at the property, a team was send out to carry out the work, turning up 2 hrs later after experiencing some issues finding a property other contractors and delivery companies didn't have. Not having received any update or confirmation for the completion of the work, going back to the property at the end of the day I found out we were charged more than £200 to simply lay down a new pipe along a trench I digged myself, but not connection was done as highlighted since the beginning as a priority - something I could have done perfectly myself after all the hard work of the trench in the front garden and through the foundations!

We recently had a full bathroom installation completed by MPW and we genuinely cannot fault them! We are over the moon with the results. Their main office was responsive and helpful in the planning stages, and all the tradespeople who worked on the install were on time, polite and professional. Particular mentions to Jamie and Martyn who did the majority of the install - they were absolutely fantastic, a pleasure to have around during the project, super hard working and really listened to what I wanted and were patient in going through all my Pinterest boards to help me get the look we wanted. They also left the house spotless at the end of each day. The quality of the install is amazing, and I’m so glad we used them. We’ve also called up MPW for a few other things here and there, like boiler issues and broken pipes, and every time they have been quick to respond and everyone we’ve met from the company has been professional and helpful. Would highly recommend, and we wouldn’t use anyone else!

Dan serviced my gas boiler after it malfunctioned and cheerfully explained stuff to me about everything he checked. Felt much more relaxed about impending cold spell....I am modifying this after 2 more experiences. At the first visit Dan told me there was nothing wrong with my boiler remote controller which was not recording the temperature accurately, so I agreed not to replace it. The problem still continued and when I asked them to change it he came an hour later than the 8am I was told, looking grumpy and seemed to suggest that I couldn't be right. He replaced it and the problem now seems resolved so I was right. He also went to a tenanted property to do a boiler service and Gas Safety. I was phoned to be told that a dripping tap could not be repaired but needed replacing. I was quoted £37 for the tap plus labour and ended up paying £114 + VAT just for the tap and still haven't received a Gas Safety Certificate.

I have used MPW for several jobs now in our rental properties. We will continue to use them as they turn up when they say they will, talk through the issues and discuss solutions and get the job done quickly and efficiently. MPW have just finished a kitchen renovation in our own home, and to say we are thrilled is an understatement. It looks amazing, and the team were fantastic. Marcus, Danny and Lee, plus Danny's apprentice, were all really friendly and comms were great. They checked in as they went along, to make sure everything was going well and that we were happy. The team also got on really well, which personally I think helped them do a better job as they were all working together. Thanks so much again, and we'll definitely be getting MPW back to do our bathroom next year.

Matt and his team recently installed a new central heating system and renovated our bathroom. The work they undertook was completed to the highest standard, and Matt was in touch regularly to keep us in the loop with progress.The complete installation of the boiler, associated plumbing and six radiators took just two days and caused us minimal disruption.The bathroom renovation took a little longer, but this was to be expected with the extent of work that was required. Matt gave us almost limitless options with regards to the layout and decor, and came up with some excellent ideas that really improved the look of the bathroom.Overall we would not hesitate to use Matt and his team again in the future should the need arise. We have been using Matt and his team for a year now for various jobs and they have always been excellent. Matt always arranges to have someone round really quickly whenever we have an issue or a job that needs doing, and all of the members of the team that we've worked with have been professional and done a fantastic job. Our boiler broke over the weekend and Matt responded to my message straight away (on a Sunday) and we had 2 boiler engineers round our house by 9am the following morning, and a new boiler fitted and fully functional by the afternoon. You simply can't beat that service. Fantastic.

We contacted Matt and the team when we discovered the boiler was leaking, so we needed help pretty urgently. Within an hour or so of calling them they had been round, diagnosed the issue, quoted, and ordered the part which needed replacing. Tyron came back the following morning to fix it and was polite, friendly and professional the entire time. Brilliant communication from Matt throughout too. Thoroughly impressed with the service these guys offer, we will be using them for all our future plumbing needs!

Absolutely brilliant! MPW have done a few small jobs for us but recently replaced our old back boiler heating system and we couldn't be happier! We were pleasantly surprised how neat, tidy and respectful the team were whilst installing the system. They arrived on time and took the time to properly explain all options and figued out ways to cause the least disruption to our home. Also MPW actually talked me down from a more expensive boiler that wasn't needed saving us a lot of money.

Incorrectly diagnosed the issue in my heating system causing me to throw away a perfectly good thermostat and replace the system at great expense. There was nothing wrong with it; there was just a faulty piece of wire that he didn't check. When I bought this to his attention he told me he was just a "boiler engineer" as if thermostats have absolutely nothing to do with boilers. Refused to engage with any kind of liability and essentially told me the situation was all my fault.

Would highly recommend MPW! Had the lads, James and his apprentice Harvey who both worked really hard. They had to remove 2 radiators and chase new pipes into the walls which they done a fantastic job, very neat and exactly how we wanted them ready for the new radiators to go on once plastered. I was surprised how fast they achieved what was required doing. No mess left behind as they both cleared up and done a great job. Cheers lads! see you again very soon hopefully!!

This is a very over due review, as we've had Matt do various jobs for us over the years at our home and at rental properties, these have ranged from minor leaks to bathroom refits and boiler replacements. This review was prompted by a boiler fault at home, we called around 08:30 and Matt arrived before 10:00, faults corrected and boiler serviced by 11:30. I've always found Matt and his team to be tidy, courteous, professional and, as demonstrated today, very prompt.

Amazing and excellent service - fastest response I've ever had in regard to any maintenance service - this was for an asap installation of a replacement boiler. From the initial contact to the instant quote and installation date all done within a couple of days - thanks to Matt. Installation was fantastic - all done with complete professional quality and attitude by Mike and Harley. Thank you so very much for all your help.

Mpw are really great. I've used them for several years, and they've always been reliable, friendly, very tidy and always done great work. Today they came to replace a dead boiler. They went into the loft to replace the flue, found a leaky roof, called a roofer who came and sorted the flashing and tiles. Now I have a clean, warm and not leaky house. And they made friends with my worried puppy! Brilliant.

MPW recently did a complete bathroom renovation for me which included knocking down and rebuilding a wall to enlarge the space. I'm delighted with the result which they completed to a very high standard. The whole team was lovely (Marcus, Jamie, Danny and Martyn) - highly skilled, good communicators, and very helpful - often going the extra mile to make sure I got what I wanted. Highly recommended.

Matt and the team have been great from the start. We had a competitive price for a boiler replacement having had Matt come round to a visual inspection. The installation team were polite, punctual and very considerate, leaving the place clean and tidy. We will be recommending to others and be using them for our upcoming bathroom replacement project.

Called Matt on Saturday morning as my washing machine was leaking water down the walls of the flat downstairs. He had a plumber out to me within 15 minutes which was amazing given my panicked state! Fast, polite and efficient service. Matt called me back afterwards to check it was all OK which I appreciated. I would definitely recommend.

I contacted Matt on Saturday night and he was round at 10:00am on Monday morning after a fault appeared on my boiler. He was professional and personable - fixed the problem on my Veismann boiler and gave me information on how to prevent the same thing happening. Great service, Our heating went down Sunday morning we spoke to Matt who understood that we needed it to be up and running again that day as we had young children in the house. An engineer was round in a few hours and an hour later the boiler was up and running again. Thanks again, would reconmend.
