I sat back in one of the comfortable chairs and relaxed with my cigar. The music was soft and soothing, and the atmosphere was perfect for enjoying a good cigar. I spent a few hours at Mr Cigar, and I had a great time. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing place to enjoy a cigar in Cartagena. first ill start by saying..im not a pro when talking cigars..but im a old had knowing good quality for the dollar...Juan is the owner..and a gentleman and savvy salesmen!..his crew is well trained..we sat for a few hours had a smoke..some top shelf rum...and a bite to eat..all in all..my type of place..but..remember...with high end taste comes high end price...was it worth it to me..?? yes..but thats me..and i can do this once every 3 months and get my fill..note..if you grab a great cigar and a common drink and relax...its very reasonable price.for me and my wife it was 200 us....i will say..mr cigar's place was the best time i had in 2 visits to Cartagena..i dont like rude people i dont like sardine can crowds..and i dont like noise that is called music...Juan did a great job, because there was none of my dislikes at his place...i would have given 5 stars if the price for us was in the 150- 160 range....if you pick a fine colomiba cigar...and have a few beers or jd...it will be a fine affordable very classy time for you at MR CIGAR !!...enjoy

By no means am I saying all he sells are fakes. But he (Juan) tried to sell me boxes of fakes: if he didn’t know it shouldn’t be on me to figure it out, it’s the owners responsibility here, not the buyers. I looked at 3 different cigar shops while in Cartagena. Only 1 had legit, not fake, sealed boxes of Cubans. Mr Cigar WAS NOT IT. This place is selling knock offs for sure. I asked the owner/operator about the seals of these boxes shown here and couldn’t get a straight answer. 1. ⁠all 3 have the same serial number. 2. ⁠the labels are not appropriately placed. 3. ⁠the labels lack the micro printed serial number in all 3 locations it should be present. 4. ⁠the were issues with the date stamp on the bottom. 5. ⁠open boxes did not have correct looking bands on them 6. ⁠cigars that should be triple capped had single caps. If you want a decent deal on boxes of most likely fake Cubans, go for it. If you’re looking for a real Cuban cigar head elsewhere. FWIW My spouse previously posted this same review, but the operator here scrubbed their review.

I recently visited Mr. Cigar in Cartagena and had an excellent experience as a first-time cigar smoker. The staff was very knowledgeable and provided a great selection of cigars to choose from. They took the time to explain to me all the different kinds of cigars and how to properly smoke them, which was very helpful. In addition to their expertise, the atmosphere at Mr. Cigar was relaxing and enjoyable. The employees were friendly and made me feel welcome, and the space itself was comfortable and nicely decorated. Overall, I had a fantastic time at Mr. Cigar and will definitely be back the next time I'm in Cartagena. I highly recommend this spot to anyone who wants to try out cigars or is looking for a great selection and friendly service. Thank you, Mr. Cigar!

Cigars ain’t cheap anywhere you go and this places is a good example. Atmosphere is ok depending the day and the time when you go. When I was there they have no one but the owner (Juan) and a young kid acting as a bartender. I ordered a Venezuelan Rum called Diplomático (really good) for $70 Colombian pesos ($10 US dollars) a shot and a box of 10 Cuban Cohibas cigarettes for $300 Colombian pesos or about $70 US dollars. Again, The selection of cigars is pretty limited and high $$$. Might be worth the visit if you want to spend some cash and have a good rum

Definitely coole spot to check for all to check out! I just happened to come across this dope establishment when I was exploring San Diego after my market tour. The amazing photos at the entrance grabbed my attention before I realized the name. I'm very glad I chose to walk inside cause the vibe is so chill yet fancy. The set up inside is just as poppin as the outside & Juan is a welcoming host. He is good to chat with & he knows his stuff about cigars. I ended up buying a cigar and staying a bit and having some great ice cream.

Juan and his team became family the instant we walked in. His exceptional selection of cigars, scotch and top shelf rum (both local and international) was out of this world. Juan is also the perfect guy to help you get last minute reservations to Cartagena’s best restaurants and access to the less known, luxury islands resorts. Even after leaving Cartagena to continue our trip, Juan kept in contact with us to make sure we are doing well and remind us that he is more than happy to help with anything we need.

I was pleasantly surprised to find Perdomo Cigars in Cartagena. The cigar selection is small but well kept. The bar has a decent selection of single scotch malts and rums. I had a rum boulevadier with my Perdomo 20th anniversary maduro. The cigar was a delight, showing really nice depth of chocolate and dark flavors. The croquettes were delicious with their cilantro based sauce.

If you're ever in old town Cartagena, stop in for a cigar and a drink with some good people! The owner, Juan goes out of his way to make you feel welcomed and can get you whatever you need. Maybe you'll even earn the honor of getting your picture taken with him and posted on the wall! VIP room better be ready when I return Senior Cigar!! Gracias por todo!!

This place is super chilled. They have a live singer on most days. The cigars are great, the rums are great, and the owner Juan is cool as hell. I recommend this joint. I personally always have a great relax time there. Cartagena can a be a little Hectic for first timers, this is a place to sit back relax… smoke a cigar with a good rum and chilllll.

I love love love this place. It's right in the heart of the Plaza. It's one of the newest hidden gems in Cartagena. Very classy place with an intimate vibe. They have live music almost every week. I would highly recommend checking this place out!

We came here as part of a rum and cigar tasting hosted by HiCartagena. We had cocktails before the event started and it’s a really cute space with a ton of cigars. We loved all the artwork on the walls too.
