terrible with warranty would avoid at all cost. tried to return some ddr3 ram which was faulty, they argued they needed to test it before they would take it back. the person who tests products wasn't instore, they told me to come back another day. had to argue with them to take it back. took well over 20 minutes out of my day. absurd!!! also bought faulty wireless earphones another day. the proceeded to test those too. they of course putthem in there ears. plain old gross! as if i would want them even if they worked at that point. on top of this there customer service is awful. i asked a question in store to see if a cooler and case they were selling were compatible. they simply replied "that's up to you to research not us." if principal computers had more stock or a better website i'd just go there all the time. but they are indeed my first choice for any thing computer related.

I've purchased items from MSY randomly in the past, however now that we've been upgrading our smart home devices and increasing their volume within the residence, we've required higher quality networking systems. The store bought systems we rarely capable in running the quantity of products. Open investigating what I needed I was under the belief that my only local suppliers were places like JB Hi-Fi and Officeworks. Low and behold, MSY have been able to stock much higher quality devices at a tiny portion of the cost the major retailers have been selling lesser products. They also supply network cables at a fraction of the cost of the major retailers. MSY is now blmy go-to destination for all of my smarthome networking solutions. If they don't have it in store, you can always have it delivered to you via their online store.

Very competitive prices, with the backing of a nation wide brand, but with the care and customer support of a small local business. They have always been very helpful and offered support and service exceeding my expectations. For instance, I brought my whole desktop tower in this afternoon due to intermittent crashes. Some parts were out of warranty. Rather than push me to replace possibly faulty parts, the gentleman plugged my tower into his test bench, ran a few tests, flashed my bios, and even advised me to hold off on a cpu upgrade for a month until there was a price break. All with a smile and free of charge. Exceptional service! Highly recommended.

I travelled from Oyster Cove to Glenorchy in the hope of finding a particular cable adaptor after being referred to MSY by a staff member at another store (Jaycar) that did not have the part I needed in stock. They told me that MSY would undoubtedly have the part I needed. Upon arriving at the store I found that not only did they have the adaptor in stock, but that they were happy to give me one free of charge(!) Needless to say, I am completely overwhelmed by this. They will get all my business in future, and I would encourage anyone who needs anything PC related to give them their business!

Trust me. These 2 guys are self-fish people I ever seen in my life. I come to their shop twice, and bought computer parts before even they are not really welcoming their customers, bad customer service . Today Just 5 mins after i buy some stuff from their shop, I get back to my car and cant start the engine, my battery was dead . I asked them for helping me jump start my car. Their car just right there, in front of their shop and they deny for the help instantly . Never come back

Great service! don't go to harvey norman for you PC needs, go see the guys at MSY, Professional, Friendly, Knowledgeable and will help you out with no nonsense parts, don't over charge and wont ever suggest something you DON'T need. i wanted a whole new system but didn't want to spend a small morgage on it, they helped me out and i walked out with just under $1000 worth of parts that run like a dream! Shop local!

This is the cheapest and best place in Tasmania to get computer parts. It is a small little outlet - you go in and tell them what parts you're after. I often look at their website to see if they have what I want in stock in the Glenorchy store. There's not much signage and it doesn't look very welcoming but it is there and it is the best place to pickup parts for your PC.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICES EVER. I've been here for 2 times, 2 guys in store just wanna kick you off the store, lazy face, so bad attitute and behaviour and avoid all your questions with "No" and that's all. So frustrated. I know they provide the good price ( well, sometime) , but I would prefer you guys wait for 3-4days through ebay with same price.

Asked if I could return an item if it doesn't fit, the worker said no then went on about a boxing fee etc. Twice I've been here and twice they haven't been very helpful when asking questions especially when they don't have most of the items you need on display, it's all behind the counter. Pretty dodgy practice and I won't shop from here again.

Ordered a CPU online, then went in store to pay on collection, they refused cash as legal tender (understandable with Covid), wouldnt allow a bank deposit and then had the audacity to charge a 1% surcharge on the credit card they forced me into using, would give 0 stars if I could.

Cheapest computer parts in Tasmania! Helpful and knowledgeable staff will point you to the best bang for buck components. Not many items on display and their website is a little clunky with PDF price lists but if you know what you're after tis is the place to go.

Terrible customer service. Downright arrogant and disrespectful. They may be cheap, but don't expect anything else. I will be going elsewhere and get good products at a good price knowing I can get the help and support I need. Will never shop with MSY ever again.

Visited store as I am having issues with my dell laptop seeing it now won't detect any network hardware. Male staff member said he could not help and was not willing to even try. Offered no help at all, then sent me out the door. Do not recommend.

In 2016 I had a custom build done for a powerful gaming machine at Umart on the Gold Coast. The machine has performed flawlessly and I was very happy with service.
