I really recommend MacEwan dental for anyone who wants a pleasant, informative, and effective dentist. Dr Seehra was super knowledgeable and he’s been doing this for 26 years! He was so patient with all my questions and explained everything thoroughly without pushing me to choose more expensive options, he went through my X-rays and explained everything so I understood fully what was going on. I never once felt anxious or hurried, Dr Seehra and his assistant were super patient and he seriously knows what he’s doing without a doubt he’s an expert. Christie was genuine friendly and offered a lot of insight on how to use my healthcare benefits to the best degree, I really appreciated her help and kindness as well. Overall amazing staff amazing service five stars is just being modest. Go for MacEwan dental if you want effective treatment that puts your health and your interests first.

The surgeon, Dr. Viet Tran, needs to work on his people skills. I went for my wisdom teeth removal. The first thing he asked was "Are you nervous?" I knew I need to remain calm. So I said "I'm OK. I had my upper wisdom teeth removed. I'm experienced. Just do whatever you need to do." If I'm the doctor, I'd keep the patient as calm as possible. But guess what he said. "Bottom teeth are more complicated to remove. So... yeah" ??? Is there any good in making me nervous??? What value do you expect to add here? During the procedure, he suddenly said "oh shoot!!! (2seconds later) never mind..." without even explain to me what's happening... So I just sat there, enduring the pain, hoping everything was ok... He didn't explain at the end either. Now 3 days after the procedure, my face is swollen like a balloon, and aching like hell… Not recommended

Do not go here. They filled a deep cavity they shouldn’t have. I came back in horrible pain, told them i can’t sleep & advil isn’t working. They sent me away to see if the pain would stop?? I went to another dentist & she said it was clear on my x-ray (which they didn’t show me) i needed a root canal, which i got after this office took over 500$ of my benefits so i had to pay a lot out of pocket as a student. The deep filling they completed they didn’t do properly either. They didn’t give me enough numbing so i was groaning as he was drilling my tooth & he kept going saying he was “almost done”, just to find out he didn’t even clean out all of the cavity which would have led to an infection. DO NOT GO HERE.

Typical dentists are usually friendly because they want your money - not because they care about doing a thorough job for your overall health. I'm so far impressed with the work completed, genuineness, knowledge and humour of the staff here at MacEwan Dental and their willingness to accomodate and be flexible around late evenings as well. My Hygenist Eimee was brilliant, and explained every procedure and option that I had. If you're anything like me, you're skeptical of reviews sometimes, but if you're not usually a fan of dentists, consider this place. I'll be coming here for as long as I'm in Edmonton.

Amazing biological dentistry office that cares. After 7 years at my previous dental office I happily switched my families care to dr seehra for a more biological approach to dentistry. I have been super pleased with the entire staff at MacEwan dental so far. I recently had a tooth extraction done and they were so understanding of my anxiety and extremely gentle. The entire procedure was painless and 100x more comfortable than previously getting a simple cleaning or filling at my old dental office. 10/10 would recommend MacEwan dental.

One word, Appreciated. I had a cleaning appointment with Eimee, and that is how I felt throughout my time there. She slowed down my experience so she could get to know me, educate and over-deliver. I highly recommend Eimee as your registered dental hygienist. She truly understands that it is the relationship you have with others through connection and service. On a separate note, the staff at MacEwan Dental was pleasant and the space was clean.

I have been terrified of the dentist since I was a child, so only go when I have to, beyond amazed and excited to find Dr. AJ and his excellent staff, I finally feel safe with a dentist and I am so excited to start my routine dentist responsibilities!! I love this dental practice! I am extremely impressed with Arianna, Roman, and Dr. Seehra! They are so welcoming! You can clearly see they are such kind and caring professionals. I came in as an emergency patient when they reopened during Covid with a broken tooth that needed extraction and have been back several times since to prepare for an implant. The staff have all been extremely friendly, kind and understanding. They all work together as a team if you can't see your specific dentist for some reason. Dr. Bimra is my dentist and she is fantastic, I highly recommend her!

I have had good fortune of having Dr. Jain as my dentist for my Invisalign treatment. She did a great job on my teeth. She’s a very committed Dentist and makes sure you come every check up and ff ups. This was my first experience with an RDH that educated me, and screened me for oral cancer. She cared, not only about me, but was genuine in her concern for my families care as well. Great support staff. Dentist is very patient. Our daughter was nervous about freezing to the point I wasn't sure we would be able to start the surgery. All staff were so helpful, and ensured our daughter was as comfortable as possible for the procedure. They even had her laughing! Very professional.
