Review: MacArthur Square Sydney - A Shopper's Paradise MacArthur Square Sydney is a bustling shopping complex located in the heart of Campbelltown, a suburb in the southwestern region of Sydney, Australia. As a dedicated shopper and frequent visitor to various retail destinations, I recently had the opportunity to explore MacArthur Square, and I must say, it left a lasting impression on me. One of the standout features of MacArthur Square is its extensive range of stores. The shopping center houses a diverse selection of retailers, ranging from high-end fashion brands to popular chain stores and specialty boutiques. Whether you're in search of the latest fashion trends, electronics, home goods, or unique gifts, you'll find an abundance of options to cater to every taste and budget. Navigating through MacArthur Square is a breeze, thanks to its well-designed layout. The mall is spacious and offers a comfortable shopping experience, with wide corridors and ample seating areas for those much-needed breaks between stores. Despite its size, MacArthur Square remains easily accessible, and it's convenient to find your way around. One of the highlights of my visit was the food court at MacArthur Square. It boasts a variety of eateries, ranging from quick-service outlets to sit-down restaurants, serving up a range of cuisines to satisfy any palate. Whether you're craving a juicy burger, mouthwatering Asian cuisine, or a freshly brewed cup of coffee, you'll find plenty of options to tempt your taste buds. Another notable aspect of MacArthur Square is its commitment to providing excellent customer service. The staff members I encountered during my visit were friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to go the extra mile to assist shoppers. From helping with store recommendations to providing information about ongoing sales and promotions, their dedication to customer satisfaction was evident. Parking is ample at MacArthur Square, with a multi-level car park conveniently located adjacent to the shopping center. Additionally, the mall is well-serviced by public transportation, making it easily accessible for those without a private vehicle. In terms of overall ambiance, MacArthur Square offers a vibrant and lively atmosphere. It's a popular gathering spot for locals and visitors alike, creating a sense of community and camaraderie. The mall hosts various events throughout the year, such as live performances and seasonal celebrations, adding to the overall experience and making each visit a memorable one. If I were to nitpick, I would say that while MacArthur Square has an impressive range of stores, it could benefit from the inclusion of more niche or independent retailers to add a touch of uniqueness to its offerings. Nevertheless, this is a minor observation that doesn't detract from the overall shopping experience at MacArthur Square. In conclusion, MacArthur Square Sydney is undoubtedly a shopper's paradise. With its extensive range of stores, well-designed layout, delicious dining options, and exceptional customer service, it has everything one could ask for in a shopping destination. Whether you're a fashion enthusiast, tech-savvy shopper, or simply looking to indulge in retail therapy, MacArthur Square is a must-visit when in Sydney.

I am not a fan of large shopping centres but I fell in love with Mac Square. I am used to shopping online from most of the stores they have there but after visiting I would be more likely to shop in-store once the covid settles. Hopefully they'll still be open and not heavily impacted by lockdown etc. It's not overwhelming, the layout is great and I think each store shines in their own light without being left out like I see in a lot of shopping centres. Great job to whoever designed to the layout. The cafe's outside are also excellent. I recommend going at night time it's so pretty. Soul Origin is one of my fave eateries, the salads and sandwiches are amazing. I had lots of pics but had to clear out my storage but I highly recommend Mac Square.

Was firstly quite impressed with the new renovations and new high end stores. Very spacious and a large Coles Supermarket. A lot of variety of food to enjoy and new car parking available too. Now you get the first 3 hours parking free. We attended after 3pm and was disappointed to still having to pay as we stayed 3hrs and 10 mins, especially considering the shops had closed, would have thought it would be free after 6pm. Was also let down when we went to use a lift only to find it out of order. We walked further down on the same level to find a second lift out of order. Two lifts on the same level out of order! Then a travelator out of order as well. Overall a nice shopping centre.

Macarthur Square is the largest shopping centre in southwestern Sydney, and is conveniently located in Gilchrist Drive, Campbelltown. You can make your way to Macarthur Square easily by car, bus or train. By Car From the M5, take the Narellan Road exit into Campbelltown and turn right onto Gilchrist Drive. By Bus Many of the local buses stop in Kellicar Road for direct access into Macarthur Square. By Train Alight at Macarthur Station for all your shopping needs at Macarthur Square. Trains arrive at least every half an hour on the East Hills and Airport lines.

  • Akren Garkos

A great shopping centre connected directly to the local train station, nearby bus stops and a dedicated car park for ease and convenience; this shopping complex has a wide variety of stores to suit every taste, budget and lifestyle. Also has a bowling alley/ice ink, as well as cinema and various restaurants and a bar in the food district. Can get busy late night shopping, weekends and holiday periods - especially school holidays - so be prepared and plan ahead and be patient and considerate whilst you shop.

From basics, to kitchen supplies, babies clothing, and suits, and finally all our food and dessert plates, Macarthur Square is the best place in my most favorite place to visit. I worked there as a security guard over 10 years ago, and the place only keeps getting better This is also my wife’s favorite mall , very family friendly and most importantly, unlike many other shopping centers, it has a lot of parking spaces and no parking fees for less than three hours I just wish it has a prayer space

The most ridiculous rules for parking! You get 3 hours free, but if get off one parking and get to another, in less then 60 minutes, you're charged $5. It means if you went to the wrong car parking and go to another one you have to pay, even if the total was less than 3 hours! Early in the morning it's not possible to validate receipts to get free parking. So early birds pay for it! All about convenience for them. A great way to make money! Horrible parking rules! A childish way of making money.

  • Fel

Went to pay for parking because we went for lunch and a movie only to find that the machines are still not working. Last time I came here still the same problem. How can I be quoted $5 at one machine and not reading the cinema ticket barcode and not accepting payment to have to walk to another parking machine to have the problem of not reading the ticket barcode and having to pay $9 at another with this one accepting payment. Fix your machines, it's been almost a year and still doesn't work

Whilst the centre itself is ok. If you're looking for a great atmosphere for the outdoor restaurant precinct, best not to waste your time at the moment. The beautiful water feature is gone and it's covered by a dirty bit of fake grass. Half the restaurants are closed and covered up by hording, making the area look terrible. The feel of the place is almost depressing at the moment. Hopefully it starts to look better when the restaurants reopen

Disable parking is ok, not great and didn’t find any or see any that have loading areas to get wheelchairs in and out of my car. Lifts are very slow which is one of the main reasons I tend to not visit as often. Also finding trolley bays always next to disable parking makes it difficult sometimes as people are lazy and don’t return trolleys back correctly and it’s not uncommon to find a trolley in a disabled spot next to your car upon return.

  • Russell Turner

The shops are good except Mister Mint got a battery in my watch ,picked it up went to the car got it out of the bag it was set on the wrong time so went back ,& he said he doesn't know how to change the time . I said Mate why didn't you tell me when o picked it up instead of putting it in a paper bag all taped up . I went to Prouds the Jewellers & he fixed it straight away & told me no charge top Bloke & Woman at the Jewellers .

  • Dave L

It's always so damn busy and parking is a nightmare even with a disability sticker. Having said that it is certainly better than Campbelltown Mall! They definitely need more disabled parking outside near Coles. Despite the size of the store the range is not the best and and quite often the half price specials are usually out of stock by 9 or 10am. It is a nice atmosphere especially during Christmas with the live Carols band!

  • Jemison Smith

Slugged with $40 car parking at the Convenience Corner Parking Area, yes I was supporting local business shopping with family for just over 3 hours, but come on this isn’t sydney ! Aren’t we in a recession. Last time I’ll be supporting businesses there, usually get my car washed for $60 at the under ground car parking, won’t be returning regardless of other parking options. Narellan town centre will get my business !

  • Minx Chique

As a Macarthur local, this place is a mecca for everything you need. It has expanded and extended from its heydays, and it is growing with the populace of the region. One-stop shop. And if you can't find certain things, another shopping mall is only five minutes' drive away. Parking is a pain during peak periods, but with three hours free parking, cars do move about. Just have to keep a sharp eye out for a spot.

  • Tania Andrews

McArthur square features a range of major national retailers, including a flagship David Jones, H&M, Big W, Target, Coles, Woolworths, Aldi and Dan Murphy’s, as well as a wide range of specialty retailers. An extensive dining, lifestyle and entertainment offer is also provided, including an Event Cinemas and Kingpin bowling. Conveniently located close to public transport. 3 hours free parking.

  • Shavarne Scanlan

The updates and investment in the expansion are amazing. It defnitely provides a friendly environment and the ease of having every kind of shop available in the one place is such a bonus. The no ticket parking system is a much appreciated addition. This is an excellent place to spend the day running errands or needing a catch up with friends.

  • Warren Stubbs

Mac Sq has always been a good shopping centre but on my latest visit I found more new outlets. It has everything you want for from grocery to fashion, also there's food outlets, cafes & service outlets( telstra, optus, banking among others. There's too many services to name but it's worth investigating for yourself.

  • The A-Team

A very pleasant surprise, and fantastic shopping centre. If you’re out Campbelltown way, make sure you stop by. There’s plenty of parking, a great range of stores/food options, and the spacious layout makes it easy to navigate. Once again, a great surprise! Thoroughly recommend MacArthur Square

  • AAKASH ADVANI

Fun place for shopping( most of the brands present except few e.g. Kmart), plethora of restaurant options available at Level 1( good to eat here if you want to enjoy the pleasant weather and yum food) and Level 3( food court and few restaurants on the opposite side of the food court near Coles). Enjoy!

  • Heather James

It's ok but the people are just rude, I was in Bonds and a customer abused me after she had pushed past me in the store, the store assistant didn't even say a word or try to diffuse the matter, I was only walking around the store looking around. The people in the area bring the place down.

  • Guy Manalay

A very great place where you can find everything from breakfast to lunch and shop for everything you need for your life. A one stop shopping spot. It can be easily accessed via train and probably the shopping centre with large amount of car parks too. A very well situated shopping centre.

  • Owen Wilkinson

Large parts of the shopping centre are quite dated. And it's a very stark contrast when entering from the new section. There is a wide range of shops suited to every audience. Great outdoor dining precinct! Not enough free all day parking but I did like that the first 3 hours were free!

  • GREGORY EGAN

I live in the area and this is a great place with a variety of shops, movies, activity game zones , food and clothing and homewares stores as well as the banks and health insurance and health and beauty places you would need. Definitely worth a visit if you are just passing through.

  • Eddy S Dharmadji

A fantastic shopping centre with everything you could ever need including some shops that I have not seen in years in Sydney CBD, very spacious and airy. A great shopping centre to hang around, you could easily lose yourself in here all day. I would defo visit again.

  • Dean Woodbridge

Gotta say, Macarthur Square have worked hard making this place look great. Its very clean (except for the toilets, but can't fault you guys if people are grubs) and it looks pretty in the night time. Osso is a great place to eat if you want to treat yourself.

  • SamwizeGamezy

This was our first time in Aus and one of the first malls we visited. We were impressed with the quality and variety of shops available. Parking was easier as well plenty of parks available downstairs and upstairs. Close to the train station was a plus.

The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Custom Dog Name T Shirt is absolutely stunning. The fabric is comfortable, the printing is high-quality, and seeing my pet's name on it makes it all the more special. Highly recommend this shirt to all dog lovers.

  • Swathika Praveen

You got everything here, from multiple stores like Coles, Woolworths, Aldi for groceries, plenty of clothing stores, food court, outdoor and indoor dining. It's quite close to McArthur station too, making it easier to commute to far off places.

  • Gaolou Deng

I would like to complain about the way your shopping mall security handles it. At about 1:30 on Saturday, my child bought a McDonald's in the shopping mall. As soon as he got it, a 14-year-old boy snatched the food from his hand. Because My

  • Joanne L

Just visited upstairs food court. Kids riding on scooters, knocking into people and no security in sight. Other flocks of kids running through centre unsupervised and still no security seen. Not a shopping centre for the faint hearted!

Literally the only problem I would have with this place is the stores staff, which isn’t Macarthurs fault. Macarthur has a wide variety of shops and food and it’s just amazing. The staff I have encountered are also wonderful.
