This place has pretty decent prices if you’re looking to get a relaxing massage. I thought the staff was really sweet and hard working. One thing unique about this place is that they have poles on the ceiling so they can walk on your back. For me, I liked this because they were easily able to apply a decent amount of pressure. I also like how they hopped on me and used their knees to apply an extra amount of pressure. Both of these made the experience unique. I was a little disappointed with the “routine-nature” of the massage. I had obvious knots and tension in my upper back, but as quickly as they were discovered was as quickly as she had moved on. So, you’re not going to get a focused massage per-se. One other area that I felt a little slighted on, was that we paid for a 60 minute massage, but our massage went just under 50 minutes. In their defense, we were running a little behind on our scheduled appointment, so I completely understand how we backed up the schedule, but I thought it could have been communicated up front that we would be paying full price for a fraction of the 60 minutes. Relative to other massage places of like kind and quality, they give a lot of pressure on the back (which I liked), they don’t really spend any time on the feet, front, face, hands, or head (which I think could be improved). I’d consider going back for a foot massage since that’s a little more concentrated, but I probably wouldn’t go for the 60 minute massage again.
RACIST BUSINESS! DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE IF YOU ARE BLACK or MUSLIM! I showed up for my appointment with my husband. From the moment we came in through the door. We were treated to looks as if we were in the wrong place. My husband who is a Black man got a hostile reception. No hellos or how may I help you. It was what do you want? I said he is here with me and she said "OK, You have to pay for your massage upfront!". She ushered me in one of the makeshift stalls covered with curtains ( one room divided into three stalls) and harshly commanded me to undress! I heard her tell my husband, I need you to show me your identification first! "People steal credit cards" and other rants at the top of her lungs. It didn't feel like a policy equally enforced but a personal judgement she took when she saw us! I got out from the stall bewildered by her harsh tone that bordered hostility. I felt uncomfortable and knew there is no way I would allow her to touch me when I can see she is irritated by our presence. I requested to leave. After a back and forth, she relented to cancel our appointment. She escorted us out with a litany of insults including yes you are thieves. AVOID THIS BUSINESS THEY ARE RACISTS!!!
I’ve been going here regularly for a few years now - easily one of the best massages in the city, not even factoring in the price. And the price is unbeatable (though I always tip a good amount to meet their level of service). If you're getting a massage in hopes of relieving muscle soreness, tightness, or pain in the longer term, the massage should be therapeutic and not just relaxing. Connie and her team are masters at accomplishing both. They listen to your body and can identify areas that need more attention and know how to balance comfort and pain to provide both a relaxing and therapeutic massage. Some places I've been to in the past either apply too little or too much pressure - they know how to apply just the right amount by listening to your body. A separate note. If you have scheduled an appointment and cannot go, please be considerate and call to cancel your appointment. They don't penalize you for cancelling, but it hurts their business because they cannot reserve during that time slot and lose out on potential massages.
This place is truly magical. I have been a regular to this place for the last 2 years twice a month and couldn’t stop recommending it to my friends who loved it too. The massage is mostly deep tissue, high pressure and also includes back walking. I am truly impressed by all the people working there- Connie, Amy, Charles. All of them are better than each other and I have always left feeling light and relaxed. Walk-ins are mostly welcomed but its always better to give a call before hand for appointment even if it is 30mins in advance. They keep the massage timed hence never cut on your time and you get full time what you paid for. The prices are reasonable and competitive. It is not one of those luxury spas, but a nice little cozy place. Now I moved away from the Downtown area all the way to Columbia city and it is still totally worth it to come to ID/Chinatown just to get my massage. Also, Tip well !
I'm here from NYC, just got off a cruise. Much better pricing to get a massage here. The chair and bed massage is on point and very skilled. The foot massage was with a stick and no foot bath but they used lotion. There was a hot towel at the end. Really helped me relax from carrying my luggage off the cruise to a hotel. They told me I was lucky to be able to walk in because they're not too busy and we had 2 guests. Had to wait a little. An appointment would be best. They ask to pay first because they've been ripped off with customers walking out on them. I was fine with that. Paying in cash is less expensive. I had a wonderful experience here. I called to schedule an appointment and was delighted that they could fit me in for a 90 minute massage that day. The massage was wonderful - she focused on exactly the right areas and repeatedly came back to my problem spots to work on them extra. For those of you who are used to more upscale, western massage places, you should adjust your expectations - the massage techniques and standards for professionalism are a bit different, but the massage work is excellent and the prices are ridiculously affordable. I’m only in town for a couple weeks but definitely plan on getting another massage before I leave.
I feel like I just found a secret spot. 5/5 this place is literally heaven. I took a chance trying this place out and I was pleasantly surprised. Wilson is my new guy now. It’s been a while since I’ve found someone who’s as strong and has good technique. If you have incredibly tight muscles or need a strong technique to break your muscle fibers then I highly recommend Wilson. The confident lady also assures me they’re all the same level. So go check them out. They’re all nice friendly people haha
I was honestly surprised when my massage therapist got up on the table and began to walk on me, because I didn’t read the reviews. I felt great after my massage though! This isn’t your typical spa massage, if that’s what you’re looking for. This is a no-frills massage parlor and you can hear everything going on outside the parlor shop; however, my massage bed/sheets were clean and my massage therapist was very friendly. I’d recommend this if you’re looking for a place to get some pain relief.
Bad experience. All elbow and did not get my legs from walking all day. Left me leaving with shoulders cramped from being in the same position too long. I stopped toward the end after digging elbows into my calves. I jump and told her it was hurting and she kept digging in fast and hard. I asked for money back. Something I've never done before. Lady wanted to argue that it was my fault. The only reason I gace a 3 was because my girlfriend liked her massage.
Me and my girlfriend came to this massage place during our trip to Seattle, we're from San Francisco, and the personel was very prompt and good at their service. They applied pressure on all the tight points in my back and lower-back, it was intense but the overall outcome was positive. Anyone visiting Seattle and you're in the Chinatown area and looking for a great massage, come to this place.
Was pleased to find this great spot here in Seattle’s international district. They were able to get me in for a massage the same day, called a bit before they opened and they were able to arrange. Connie worked on me for a 90 minutes, she was excellent. Price was decent as well, feeling like a normal human again. Thank you again magical massage, and Connie! I’ll be back next time.
I’ve came here last month, after reading the reviews, and the massage was excellent. I came back tonight and again, the massage was excellent. They use a technique where the walk on your, which I’ve never experienced before, but it feels great. The place is clean and the staff are professional.
I just got a massage and unlocked new range of motion in my body. They are amazing! They have rails on the roof for the staff to hold onto while they go to town on your back with their feet. These ladies know what makes you tickle. Good pressure and technique.
So incredible! Amy was amazing. One of the best massages I’ve ever had and at such an incredible price (60/hr full body). She not only massaged my back/legs but stretched my shoulders and hips too. I feel like a new person afterwards. I will definitely return!
Amazing! As a visitor who failed to train for the inclines of the city, my husband and I were grateful to find this hidden gem which restored us with back-walking / deep tissue massages. They were booked back-to-back, so call ahead.
Amazing massages! My daughter and I found this place while visiting Seattle with some free time on our hands. We did last minute four massages. Wonderful experience! It’s clean and both our massage therapists were highly skilled.
I received the best table massage I have ever had, hands down! She was able to pinpoint my problem areas and provided much needed relief. I tried to persuade her to relocate to Nebraska ❤️
DO NOT GO HERE. Untrained and unsanitary. Terrible job, dirty and passed gas and sneezed the entire time. Really filthy environment too. Don’t waste your money or time.
Excellent massage! Connie did a fantastic job and constantly checked in with me to make sure the pressure was ok. I left knot-free and incredibly relaxed.
Connie and her staff are AMAZING!! I highly recommend getting an hour-long table massage; best price and pressure in the city!
