I'll try and make this as thorough as possible. Upon arriving, we were greeted quite warmly by the establishment and seated at a beautifully decorated table. The restaurant itself was extremely clean and tidy, and we had very pleasant appropriate music to accompany the entire meal. My husband and I had the buffet for two, which included an entre, a vegetarian curry, a non veg, non seafood curry, and two lots of naan bread. We chose the tika chicken masaala, a tofu masaala, and my husband chose some sort of potato cake with a mint sauce to dip. We also had two deserts, a naan bread with raisens and sweeter spices, and these little doughnut ball type things soaked in a sweet syrup. The entre was so delicious, with perfect portions for two people, that my husband actually cleaned his utencials to make sure he got every little morsel of potato cake(what?!) The sauce was divine. A perfect little mix of mint and spice. The curry was amazing. The chicken masaala was fantastically prepared, the chicken was juicy and well cooked, the tofu wasn't overcooked and had soaked up the curry beautifully. The rice was perfect, not overcooked, not undercooked, garnished with coriander which added beautifully with the curry. And holy cow, THE NAAN BREAD IS PHENOMINAL AND MADE IN HOUSE. Finally, we had our desserts, which was the raisen/sultanas(I personally do not know the difference) and the little doughnut things. At this point I was quite full, but the doughnut balls were beautiful, and were very warm and tasty, and the raise naan bread was amazing! The service itself was spot on, and we had very little downtime between meals. The entire mean was around $70 which included two desserts, two drinks, and the $42 buffet for two. Absolutely will be eating here again!

We have been waiting to try magic masala and finally we did! Tonight! We waited over 45minutes for four mains one X-LARGE saffron rice! That of which we were given plain sloppy over cooked rice! one SMALL steamed rice. Which was again over cooked! We ordered a mango prawns it was disgusting over powering over spiced prawns were chewy and undesirable worst mango dish to date… there butter chicken was also over spiced under cooked chicken also worst butter chicken I’ve ever eat to the point is was not eatable! There beef madras tasted horrible again over spiced and when I say over spiced not the hotness the flavours of the spices were just unbearable! Then the last lamb korma same over spiced and unbearable! As we walked in we did notice the incense being burnt on the counter how ever we didn’t expect our food to taste like a mix of unbearable herbs spices and incense this has got to be the worst Indian I have ever eaten portions were tiny and just a complete waste of money considering it was all thrown in the bin we are a family of 6 and not one of us enjoyed anything nor could stand the flavours! Never ever again! Rude customer service! No parking available just a complete nightmare! Currently sick after eating tiny bits of each dish!

Worst customer service ever. The owner was rude and lied about their services. I placed an order with them through Doordash. Upon waiting for an hour, the restaurant suddenly cancelled my order! When I called Magik Masala, the rude and absolutely ill-mannered owner lied saying he doesn't even know what Doordash is and has no affiliation with them. He kept arguing with me and going on and on about how he's never heard of the app, questioning me on WHY I CHOSE TO USE IT. I mean, what's wrong with this guy??? On calling Doordash, they confirmed that the restaurant is affiliated with them and that the cancellation was done on the owner's end. Worst experience I've ever had with a restaurant. Don't even want to give them a single star.

Took half hour for store to acknowledge order, turned up half an hour later than promised...tried calling they don't answer the phone. No apology for lateness from their own driver. Told driver to tell owner how unhappy we were and no contact from owner to acknowledge or apologise. Food quality was very poor and greasy, not like it used to be. Sizing and quantity has also reduced without stating. We also felt ill from the food. Even the dog wouldn't touch the food. How bad must it have been. All the other bad reviews are true, wish we took more notice. Absolutely shocking from a store we used to rate a 5, not anymore. I'd give a zero if i could.

I've heard good things about this place n decided to try ordering.. I ordered garlic naan n Chili cheese naan, chicken tikka masala, mint sauce n a mix platter of chicken tikka, seekh kebab, onion bhaji n samosa. The naan tasted raw n i could hardly taste the cheese n garlic in the naan. Chicken masala was really sweet. Paid $2.50 for the mint sauce which came in a tiny container filled only one third of the way n was so watery n sweet. the seekh kebab was so hard n over cooked n did not taste fresh. Onion bhaji was just mushy n oily. Samosa was so salty on the outside n so blend on the inside. The only thing I thought was really nice was the chicken tikka from the mix platter.

We have come here three times now. The first time it was an amazing experience, the second time it was horrible, with the naan bread horribly burnt and the curries not even being the ones we asked for. The third time was a free meal the restaurant prepared so they could make up for last time as they said through a phone call I got earlier yesterday, it was not much better, they put way to much spice in it, to the point I could barely eat it and the naan bread was burnt again. I will not be returning to waste my money on food. It is just too inconsistent and would rather go somewhere else.

First time ordering, the estimated time of 50 minutes was spot on and well worth the wait, the driver was very friendly and the food was hot upon arrival... We ordered the eggplant masala, goat curry, butter chicken, saffron rice and garlic naan... I am very impressed, with each dish being very delicious and cooked to perfection... Will definitely be ordering again! EDIT: I've noticed that this establishment has moved to Salisbury, they were at Craigmore when I wrote this review... Therefore my review does not reflect on the Salisbury location.

Ordered a takeaway last Thursday,to try this new restaurant . Me and my family very happy starting from the phone order,uptill the take away and the food. Wait is also reasonable only 25 mins on a busy night. Learnt, they have opened only their second week. They are extremely organised now Customer service is brilliant, best food quality as we ordered lamb rogan josh,butter chicken,2 cheese garlic nan,Extra large rice. Brilliant work. We ll be back soon.

Ordered for Craigmore but got redirected here (need to update Google & website). Butter chicken was tough & a salmon pink colour, which was odd. Cheese naan had almost no cheese & was doughy in texture. The mango lassi was very small and tasted quite sour. Saffron rice was great though. Overall a very average meal.

Hi Mr Shekhar you are too old to taste the best food of one of this best restaurant in Northern suburbs with their wonderful service. Me with my family and friends are the return customers for at least twice a week since last year they started. Never waited that long inspite they are very busy place. Myself own a renowned catering business in India . Will recommend to everyone .

A M A Z I N G! Best Indian my partner and I have had since living in Adelaide! I always get nervous about ordering Indian food because of past experiences but this place has proved me wrong! We ordered 2 x Butter Chicken, Rice, Naan Bread, Papadums and a drink. Everything was perfect! And all for $25 delivered! Honestly great value, we will definitely be ordering again!

After waiting 1 hour I tried to ring to see where my order was. Phone doesn’t work. Now it’s 9:30pm and they are closed and I didn’t receive my order for $45!! What a rip off. DO NOT ORDER WITH THEM! I will be reporting them.

After making a phone order to pick up, being told the wait time is 50 minutes is acceptable but when I arrived 50 minutes later and walked up to the counter to pay for my order and the attendant doesn't even acknowledge me and continues to take phone orders and walk in and out of the kitchen is plain rude and just bad service. They have lost us!!!!!!!!

Ordered from here first time and was great flavors were great and left wanting more... Second time ordering and left feeling disappointed and sick. Mango chicken was watery n tasteless as if its jist a store brought jar added to meat and the goat curry was just bones more bones then meat. So wont be returning n will be looking elsewhere to eat.

The Alootikki was very nice and spicy and the mint sauce that went with it was very refreshing. The mango chicken and lamb korma both had very good texture and the meat was well cooked, but the sauce and could have used quite a bit more spice. The kashmiri naan was probably the best Ive ever had though!

I tryed to order a pick up dinner through you guys. No matter where i went it sent me to a secondary site to place my order which didnt allow for pick up and would not allow for drop off unless my order was over $35. If you guys arnt gonna pick up your phone so I can order that way then please fix this.

Awesome naan breads all the time especially cheese naan and cheese garlic naan and having great taste but the curries specially butter chicken and lamb roganjosh were not satisfied me. Please change the chef or cook for making curries. This time i am really disappointed for curries

Best Food and Service .Lucky to have them locally.Their 3 rd week ,so do mine . Forget about their first week Saturday ,they just open to see and didn't expect that rush . I 'll advice Mark to try them ones and publish a review. We 'll b back again .

Tonight we had our first delivery , prompt , actually allowed cash on delivery a rarity these days for online orders. The food was delicious the sauces are fantastic, garlic naan , keep up the great work.
