This is my local fish shop which I have been going to for years!! (And syon) I must say a while ago it went downhill but the last 6 months have been much improved!! A young lad named kameron? Has been a blessing!! Very helpful and friendly and his knowledge has been very much needed!! When I first started marine 2 years ago I was sold a huge great big anemone after bringing my water in for testing (after a 2 week period of set up ) which obviously died and caused huge issues. Manager said I'd be fine and knew the tank was NEW AND SMALL . terrible advice. Other staff had limited knowledge on marine which lead to bad purchases. The tanks now also are much better looked after and managed. This gives me alot more confidence to spend here!! The stock recently has also been great!! Imusy however mention the manager has a bad attitude and is a bit prejudice to certain customers!! But the young lad kameron and the other young lad are awesome and probably the main reason I have continued my weekly visits to osterley!!

Nice place. Plenty of parking. Good selection of plants and other garden related products. Not the biggest garden centre I've visited but it's somewhere to take your nan for the afternoon. We are spoilt down near Brighton, some of the garden centres are the size of a small country. I got lost in one once. It took me three days to get out. Not too much of a problem as they had a restaurant and furniture section so plenty to eat and somewhere to sleep it off. I would have stayed longer if they had a TV section. I'm sure garden centres will start selling TVs soon as they seem to sell everything else. I went into a garden centre last week and they were selling itsy bitsy teeny weeny yellow polka dot bikinis. What ever next. JD

Great aquarium! I am new to the hobby and was massively misadvised after visiting a major pet store chain to buy my first tank and fish. I then decided to pay a visit to Maidenhead Aquatics and I am so glad I did! They took the time to give advice on newbie issues as well as general care. I never felt rushed when choosing my fish or asking yet ANOTHER question. The man who runs the store in Osterley Garden Centre is lovely and really knowledgeable. The fish are very well kept, they take a lot of care with them and I have had no issues with any that I have purchased. There was also a really good selection available. I will definitely be returning! I am so glad to have such an amazing local aquarium. Thanks guys!

The shop itself is lovely, friendly staff and plenty of choice the cafe however looks incredible but the service we got was a bit of a shocker. My wife asked for a baked potato with cheese and the young lad serving us had to ask 3 different people how to present us with a potato with cheese and butter and still managed to get it wrong. I ordered a roasted veg and zartar panini which was barely warm and there was an incredibly weird taste couple's with grainy barely melted cheese and what tasted like margarine which instantly made me feel sick strawberry tart had so much gelatine in the custard it was a struggle to eat it without some sort of saw. A real shame

My favorite aquatic pet store. Super polite and helpful staff. With help of Mr Elliot I was able to start my very first marine fish tank. He gave me lots of details of how to start a marine fish tank, how to maintain it, what fish and how many of them may fit my tank volume. I was also offered the salt water to start the cycle in the tank. Additionally to that I have 3 fresh water fish tanks and I bought guppies, ottos (dwarf catfish) and neons from this store - all live their healthy and long live. I also have to mention the plants for fish tanks - good quality and very healthy. Highly recommend!

The shop is medium sized and the sellection of fish are not great. Also a bit pricey, but the main reason for my low score is because of some of the staff that work there. One in particular was very rude to me and to other customers in the shop. He should really not be dealing with the public. Halfway through the sale I requested for his colluegue to help me instead. He was very nice, but because of this one staff member I won't be going back to that shop. I now drive to the Iver Branch where the staff are all very friendly and helpful.

Always love this place. Huge stock of plants, pots and water features aswell as statues. Very helpful staff. Bought a plinth for a statue bought elswhere. Lol thought it was heavy so got the guy to help put on trolly. He lifted it easily and i managed to. He did offer to help put in car but said i could manage after seeing him lift it easily. Reasonably priced aswell. Been here before.

Sadly even though we were the only 2 potential customers in the store, staff didn't acknowledge that we had walked in. We come along to see what Mbuna they had, which there was a small selection of. There were 2 tanks containing clown loach with a white spot problem and the water in quite a few tanks was a little cloudy. It didnt inspire us to make a purchase this visit.

Not happy with the condition of the fresh water/tropical tanks here.. lots of dead fish, excrement & dirty glass. The female Bettas have been badly fin nipped. It appears that these tanks are not being properly maintained. I would not buy fish from this store. Quite upsetting to see these poor fish being kept in such bad conditions.

Regularly visit this place since the last four years for fish and fish food and home aquarium accessories. The fish tanks are clean and every time we have taken fish, its very healthy. The staff are knowledgeable especially Elliot, and have offered good solutions almost everytime we have had any issues with our fish

The owner very rude even when you spend a lot of money been going to this one and the old one in sion Park for years he owned as well . Waisted my time completely & offered not even a sincere apology will never step foot in this shop again .... hes customer service skills are non existent …

Yesterday we booked a car went there, but it was closed at 3pm but was showing online that it closes at 5.30pm. If there are any unavoidable circumstances then you’ll should put it online about the closure and not stick a note on the gates… there are no buses as well anywhere near that!!!

Staff never answer phone calls, 1 in 100 times maybe. When visit the shop staff is rude, whenever asked a question they behaved like they are not free to answer n explain in detail, always in rush. And when you see they are just talking with each other. Never recommend products clearly.

Every time I go, they're always really nice. I'm a complete novice and tend to always need help and advice and they never fail to give it and really seem like they care. Even if you just ring them for advice, they always answer so well and so thoughtfully. Best place around, hands down.

Its ok as far as pet stores go but very good for a pet store locater in a garden centre. The staff are very helpful and they have a good selection of fish given the space. I like visiting here. Definately recommend a visit. They even had rope fish which many people just dont stock.

As always, Maidenhead aquatics never disappoints. Well laid out, clean aquariums with healthy and interesting fish. Great for beginners and experts. Very knowledgeable staff who are always willing to spend time answering questions. Probably my favourite fish shop in the area.

Used to be amazing, with lots of space and different species etc. Now its 1/4 the size but still has lots of species. can see some fish are overstocked and in stress. I hope it can go back to how it was in Dec. 2022 as then it was much better for the welfare of the fish.

Love this centre for the amount of fish they have for us to adopt and take care. Amazing amount of flowers nd trees this depends on time of the season. Customer service should be better as they hardly suggest you what plants we should buy according to our circumstances.

Great place to go at and get your first time fish they are very helpful and will explain to you whats best for your size of tank and what fish can go together, a huge variety of tropical fish but marin ones to and corals. Check it out !! Great stuff to help.

Thank you for not serving us. As in your statement: " we are so busy on Sundays, we are not accepting your fishes.." We were your loyal customers until today! Hopefully you will get more staff or at least train your old one to act in a more friendly manner.

Fantastic shop, always a good selection of general community fish mixed with large amount of rarer fish. Last time I visited they had XXL Blue Eyed Panaque, True Chameleon Whiptails, Jaguar Cats a few rare Corydoras. I will always pop in if I'm in the area.

Normally very good customer service but today I was served but a very rude member of staff and was actually told to go to another store as apparently none of their plecos eat algae even though it clearly states on the signs to feed them algae wafers!!!

Went osterley garden centre for some lunch and a browse with my wife , daugher in law and grandson , we went to look at the aquatic centre as our grandson would like some fish in his bedroom , it was very good and the staff were very helpfull

An amazing hidden gem within reach. They amazing collection of garden accessories, gravel, and paving stones are much cheaper. Don't forget the lovely Christmas shop and lastly the well maintained aquarium. My sons love to visit this place.

The manager here is really helpful and knows his stuff... really a lovely guy!, you can see this has reflected onto the staff there which is great and allows you to get the right information regarding anything Aquatic related.

Unbelievable amount of Christmas trees, all sizes, and one of the best Christmas displays of larger than life moving and singing animals you will.see outside.the West End. Every Christmas decoration you could want is here.

Maidenhead aquatics in Syon Park Garden Centre is a brilliant place for all things fishy. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Prices are reasonable and they sell most everything related to waterlife.

Great store with everything you need for fish but sadly I went to buy some fish and the ones I wanted were all in quarantine as they had newly arrived a day or so before. So I couldn't buy what I wanted.

Purchased a new tank the assistant gave us a lot of advice wrote a list of what we needed to do couldn't wish for a better experiance if you need tropical fish or accessories can fully recommend.

Good selection of freshwater fish but still needs to be more punctual with timings as I have waited outside the store for some time for it to open even when it said it was supposed to open at 9.

Good visit. Found what I was looking for but again, since my last visit, very crowded with Christmas decorations resulting difficult to manoeuvre a heavy shopping trolley to the exit counters.

The Aquarium has a lot of fish a bit over priced and not very clean at all. I felt sorry for the guy work there look like he over worked with no help, but still giving great customer services.

The plants were brilliant.. as for the aquarium centre had to wait for staff ... very very poor selection on the fish and the prices for the cold water fish they did have were a RIP off ...
